[PRP] Cheer is best in pairs {Jr. x Mari}

Marinette stretched and crept out of her den as quietly as possible. Her siblings weren't likely to care if they caught her, but Roth might. Thankfully for her, Roth was away again. The sneaking was more to keep the others from wanting to join or ruin her fun than anything else. Most of her siblings were no fun. Sixx could be at times, but the others, not really.

And that was why she went to play with Jr. all the time. Hakuna had introduced the two after agreeing to be Mari's surrogate mother, and it was probably the best thing that had happened to Mari in the Demon pride so far. Jr. was a lot like Mari and it gave them both someone that wasn't going to shove them around or cower from them. Cowering slaves didn't really make good playmates.

When she got beyond the dens she stopped where she and Jr. had agreed to meet and waited. The other cub would be along soon, she was sure. Hopefully Jr. would not have any problem getting away from her den. There was exploring and playing to be done! And serious demons or cruel siblings were not allowed on this adventure.

Marinette caught sight of Jr. just before the other cub called out to her. When Jr came bouncing toward her, Mari crouched and sprung to send them both tumbling. She loved the older cub to death. She had justified her relationship with Jr. and Hakuna to Roth and her family by pointing out their closeness to the leaders of the pride, but really, she did not care about that.

Hakuna was nice, and Jr. was just like her! Just a little older and looked different. Mari chewed playfully on Jr.'s ear before standing up and shaking the dust off. "Hello, Jr!" She bounces in place and purrs loudly. "What do you want to do today? There's lots of pridelands that we haven't explored yet..." Mari never really cared what the plan was when they started out so long as they had a lot of fun along the way. And they always did.
