So Main was surfing TV Tropes as she does whenever she has free time. As many of you know, the characters from LoK are biblical in origin (Kain-> Cain from Cain and Able, etc). Rahab is one of those. Now, many of you may know of Rahab as the sea monster that shows up in Isaiah (KJV)

Rahab is also a version of the name of a prostitute who helped the Israelites in the book of Joshua. Another translation is Rachab which makes me think he has no idea how to spell his name anymore.
Conclusions:
1) Rahab is a sea demon hooker
2) Rahab is a Hebrew woman's name

On a side note, Raziela is also a Hebrew woman's name.

I've seen Raziel used as a female name more than a male name oddly.

I haven't seen 'Raziela' used. I've just seen Raziel.

Oh GAWD! xd I'm a total word-nerd, and I gotta jump in on this one. Raziel is a Hebrew masculine name, meaning "secret of God." Zephon is also Hebrew, meaning "the North." As for the discrepancy regarding Rahab's spelling...in Hebrew, there is a character called "aleph," which has no English counterpart. Its pronunciation is somewhere between soft "h" and hard "ch." (sounds kinda like someone hocking a loogie xd ) So Rahab and Rachab are equally acceptable! Ra(c)hab means "spacious." =D Turel, as previously stated, means "rock of God." Melchiah is "King from YHVH," roughly. Dumah means "silence." Most of these names either refer to angels from rabbinical texts, biblical patriarchs, or ancient Israelite priests. Hope this helps!
