Smiling down at his excitable young daughter, he calmly waited while she investigated a bug that had crawled across her path. Once entirely satisfied about the unusual creature, she raced to catch up with him and simultaneously pounce his tail-tip, making him chuckle. He had become quite used to the three cubs endless energy, so different from the youngsters he had known here in the pride before his trip into the rogue lands. His three cubs, daughters all, had been a pawful from the very start, and as soon as they had opened their eyes he spent much of him time when he hadn't been hunting for their poor mother, making sure they weren't getting themselves into trouble. Of course they usually were and Sliabh developed a whole new respect for all parents. Kids were hard work.
Caoilainn bounded along, fascinated by everything, this whole new land was strange and interesting to her after the vast open and very empty plains of the savannah. Yet there was a subdued atmosphere here.. which made her feel a little guilty for being quite so energetic, and yet, something would always distract her from feeling guilty and she would race off to explore it.
Smiling warmly as he watched his daughter leap about like a newborn gazelle, he slowly but surely made his way to the nanny's area of the pride. It was time to go out on patrol and while the other two were safely in their den, Caoilainn had demanded she join him as he walked about the pride earlier. Now it was late and he didn't have time to go back and place her with the other two, so he figured she may as well be introduced to the nannies who would be looking after the three of them from now on whenever he was out on patrol.

Lifting his head ta the call, he spotted the one he knew as Jozo's .. well .. would-be-wife? He never had really got the story from the other lion, but he knew the basics from his friend's random muttering when they worked together and could guess that this lady was Eppie as he recalled she was a nanny. Smiling he altered his path slightly and padded up to her, offering her a gentle nod of his head. "Greetings. How are you this eve?" Glancing down at the young girl at his side he gently motioned Caoilainn forwards with a paw. Eppie was right about his task and his new status as a father. In truth fatherhood had been something of a surprise, since he hadn't known Haruma and her siblings when they were new born. And he had discovered that cubs, once they could see and walk, were as much work as his job back home in the pride. But now he was here and he had to go back to work at least until he left to go back out into the roguelands, since his task was far from finished.
"I'd like to introduce one of my daughters, Caoilainn." Meeting her gaze he nodded towards his suddenly shy daughter."And I was wondering if I could ask for your help for a few hours?"
Padding forwards under her father's urging, the youngster looked up with huge neon-bright green eyes. "HI!" Blushing both shy and yet excited, Caoilainn squirmed on the spot, looking between her papa and the pretty lady.

"Of course! Of course," Eppie smiled widely, turning to the young juvenile and giving the sweet child a nudge on the top of her head as greeting, "It's good to meet you Caoilainn. I'm Eppie."
Eppie couldn't help but smile. She knew that even if it was one of Sliabh's duties to father and bring back new blood to the pride as someone who could leaves its borders, the pride was grateful to him and his service. Him and Jozo were the future of this pride with the children they could help create and bring back with them. It wasn't an ideal situation, but with the entirety of the pride taking the rest of the known feline world to heart, it was the only decision they had that didn't infect anyone.
"I have two sons and two daughters about your age, Caoilainn. Josepi, Eu, Veena and Liraz. Would you like to meet them later on?" Eppie asked, attempting to make the shy juvenile feel a little more comfortable. Children were so adorable. Eppie would make a million of them if she could.
