Satomei stretched her growing legs. As an adolescent, she was still getting used to her newest growth spurt, and while she had inherited some of her mother's grace, Satomei was still a mess of gangly limps for the moment.
As a hybrid, she felt a little less graceful then a cheetah would at her age, since her limbs were bigger than hers were. She didn't know what the other half of her was, but it was certainly bigger than a cheetah. Considering her brothers had not spouted manes, she could only assume they were part leopard. If they were part lion, her brother's would be hairier by now.
She heaved a sigh, and glanced out at the busy pride. It was nice to see it all happening, but since the royal litter was born, her Uncle had little time for her, and that meant she was left with hours of nothing to do, while her siblings were off doing stuff and her mother worked.

Fiorella lounged. She didn't sit. She never sat. No, she draped herself over a low tree branch, posing her beautiful body so that the sunlight caught her fur just so. Her every inch, from the tips of her whiskers to the long, fluffy tail, were turned in just the right manner to catch attention. Every once in a while her eyes would open, running over the crowd curiously, one perfectly shaped ear twitching at the sound of interesting conversation, only to dismiss it as not interesting enough.

Satomei pushed herself to her feet, stretching and glancing back. She could not return to the den, and she had no desire to hassle her aunt, since Nanashi told her she wasn't feeling too well, so she was left with nothing. So she walked. Perhaps a walk to the stream - one of her favourite places - would clear her head and give her something to do.
She moved down towards the lake, trying to walk gracefully. She was not keen on getting males attentions yet, she was rather disinterested in them, thinking them boring and uninteresting, but she still wouldn't mind some attention.
Unfortunately, her graceful moves were halting by a rock hitting her paw, and tripping her. She slipped down the hill a little, wincing as she scrambled back to her feet. She hoped no one saw that, she thought, feeling her ears heat beneath her fur.

"Oh dear," Fiorella said, looking down from the tree she was sitting in. The poor cub had landed practically at her feet. "Are you unhurt, precious one?" she asked softly, leaping off of the tree limb and landing in a graceful crouch near the cub.
A pretty little thing, but she wasn't full bred, was she? Fascinating, and she had the promise of being quite exotic. "That was quite the tumble."

The adolescent startled slightly, having not seen Fiorella up in the tree, but then again, she hadn't really been looking that much. She glanced up, blinking in surprise at the sight of the leopard. She'd never interested with leopards much, preferring the company of cheetahs, but she didn't think poorly of them, considering she was likely half of one, at least.
"I'm fine," she explained, backing up when the female landed close to her. She tilted her jaw up. She wasn't easy to break! She'd grown up with Kanie, anyway and her sister was never one to play soft girly games. If Satomei had wanted those, she had to go to her brother Hikari.
"Ah, yes," she hesitated, embarrassed that someone had seen her fall. "Not my most well-executed walk." She gave a slightly expressed giggle, glancing around to make sure no one else had seen her fall.

"Ahhh, but walking is most difficult to learn, precious one," Fi said with a gentle smile. "Especially for one that is growing up so quickly. Things tend to change size on you, don't they?" she added conspiratorially. She really did like cubs, she thought, they were so open to learning. "Would you, perhaps, like for me to help you?"
She stretched in a graceful manner, slowly and thoroughly before looking at the little girl expectantly. "You see, one day I wish to be an Okaa-san," she added. "You can help me practice."

Satomei scoffed. "I know how to walk," she protested. She just didn't know how to walk gracefully, not now her limbs decided to grow randomly. She glanced down at her gangly paws, which felt too large for her legs, and gave a reluctant nod. Things kept changing size! She just wished she'd finish growing, and then she could get used to being this shape and size.
She looked surprised at the female's offer to help, and hesitated. Well. Perhaps, if she learnt to walk gracefully, she could impress her mother? Aiko would help her, she knew, but she sorta wanted to show her mother that she didn't need her to help her with everything - even if it was turning out that she kind of did. "Okay," she agreed, nodding firmly, before adding, "My mother is a Geisha, so I know some of the basics. It's just...my limbs won't...behave," she scowled at her legs, as if they were to fault for this whole thing.

"A geisha?" Fi asked, her eyes widening with delight. "Oh, my, your mother wouldn't happen to be that wonderfully beautiful lady, Aiko, would she?" she asked excitedly.

Satomei was surprised at the female's comment, her eyes widening in confusion. "Ah, yes. My mother is Geisha Aiko," she agreed, nodding, before casting the leopardess a curious look. "Do you know her?" She asked, thinking perhaps she had stumbled upon a friend of her mothers. Odd. She'd never really thought of her mother having female friends.

"I do," she said happily, remembering their day of light flirtation with amusement. "She's a very lovely, very classy female, my dear, and it would make me quite happy to help one of her children! Now, why don't we start? Show me your walk, precious one, and we'll go from there."
She sat down, her tail moving so it wrapped around in front of her, and waited for the little girl to show her walk expectantly.

She'd have to ask her mother about her later, Satomei decided, surprised to find the female so happy to talk about Aiko. Well, either way, Satomei was going to be getting a lesson! She nodded, and set off at her usual pace. As a juvenile, she had been quite confident, used to her body, but as an adolescent, everything was wonky. She lost track of her paws more often than not, her paw bumping a rock and sending her stumbling - though she did not fall.
She knew how to move her hips and shoulders to look graceful, she just...didn't know how to not fall over. She huffed as she stopped, and turned back to face Fiorella.

Fi nodded, seeing the promise clearly. "Now slow down, precious," she said. "Each step is important. Touch the ground lightly with each paw before putting your weight on it. It will take a while to get used to, and you'll go very slowly, but once you get used to it it'll be like second nature."
If she put more thought into the feelings on her pads, she would be less likely to trip like she had earlier.

Satomei listened to the leopard with a curious expression, before gazing down at her paws. Touch lightly? Well, she could do that. She moved slowly, retracing her steps back towards Fiorella. She looked a little silly, as she paused perhaps more then necessary when touching the ground, making sure she wouldn't trip before placing her paw down. It resulted in some awkward poses, but she did not trip as she moved back towards the other female.
Satomei beamed. Yes! It was a success to her, simply because she hadn't fallen and planted her face to the ground.

"Excellent, precious!" Fi said, beaming happily. "Did you feel any rocks on your pads as you stepped? That's very important, you know. You want your pads to not be bruised. An entertainer's paws are her life, you know. Especially once you start learning to dance." Which she was obviously offering to teach, as well. She did so love to dance, it showed off her beauty so well!

Satomei nodded. "I tried to move my paws if I felt rocks," she admitted. Not only were bruised pads unsightly, but they hurt, and Satomei had no desire to gain them.
She tilted her head to the side. "Dancing?" She repeated. Well, that was an elegant dance. She hesitated though. "I'm not sure if I'd be an entertainer," she admitted, with a frown. "I don't really like men." Well, that sounded wrong. Satomei had no intention of taking a female mate, but out of the males she knew well, she had no desire to take them as a mate or companion either. She blinked, embarrassed. "I mean, most of the men around here can be stupid and I don't think I want to do that sort of stuff, you know?" Oh, she hoped she hadn't just insulted the female.
