Kasi was curled up on her usual rock, which she had recently staked claim too and was possessive enough to scare off anyone who was trying to sleep on her rock when she wanted it. Why was the rock so important? Because she could get a good view of areas where people tended to duel, without being so close that they would chase her off thinking she'd get hurt. Not that she was dumb enough to get hurt if she was close, but she knew their concerns were founded. Other cubs would get hurt, but not Kasi, she was smarter than that.

There were no duels happening at that moment though, and she was bored, staring out at the pridal lands with a blank look on her face. C'mon people, she thought, surely someone wants to duel someone over something? She'd even accept two cubs fake duelling! At least that was sorta amusing, in a cringe-worthy way as cubs tended to fall over more than attack seriously.

She heaved a sigh, and stretched out on her rock, a pout forming on her face when nothing came along to entertain her.

Azar was on her way to a place that she hadn't visited in quite a long time. She had wanted to but with a litter of cubs it was near impossible, and even though occasionally she would have cub sitters watch the group of ten she still found herself wandering the other way even just for a little while to find. When she was younger she always found hereself on a rock that she liked to call her own when no one else was around, when her siblings were playing or when she had nothing left to do at the moment. That was really what she enjoyed doing the most. Yes it was a bit of an odd habit but she liked it. And now that she had a moment where she didn't have to watch cubs and for that matter she didn't feel like sleeping the entire time she was heading toward her old rock. It made her happy.

She paused as she approached it, a frown formed on her maw. A red figure was on her rock, but yet at the same time she knew that it was okay. It was a younger one, a younger cat, but not only that she thought it was interesting to see some one young wanting to sit up there and spend time watching others. Besides, she hadn't found herself sitting on top of that rock in a long time she couldn't expect some one young like that to know that they shouldn't be sitting there. But the fact that the lioness was here said something. There had to be a reason, she liked the girl. It was interesting but it made her smile.

"She issss young." Raza hissed. Azar's recent companion. The one she spend time with when she wasn't with Khin'del or the cubs. Or for that matter the the one that helped watch the cubs. She chuckled before nodding to the snake. "Yes." She watched the snake slither off of her leg and down to the ground. "Meet me at home." She said before she started to wander closer to the cub.

She paused before she wandered behind the cub and sat staring forward before speaking. "It's nice up here." She paused as she started forward. "You know, I used to sit up here when I was your age." She chuckled silently as she watched the currently empty lands. "I would used to sit up here and watch the adults spar, I wanted to be like them so much." She chuckled once again before the questioned the cub. "Do you want to be like them?"

Kasi had not been paying attention to who was approaching behind her, and so she startled when Azar spoke, turning to face the elder female who was talking to her. She was still on her rock, but had turned her head swiftly to look. She did not look threatening, Kasi realised, in fact she seemed rather...calm. She knew there wasn't much danger from other pridal members, so she did not run for it. Instead, she listened to what the adult said.

She perked up when the rock was mentioned, surprised that someone did the same thing she was doing. "It has the best view," she agreed, nodding and turning to look back at the empty landscape, though her gaze drifted back to the female when she spoke about the adults spar. Wow, she was a lot like Kasi, the young feline thought in surprise.

"Yes!" she blurted out at the adults question. "...no. I want to be better than them," she amended after a pause, before looking rather sheepish at her idea. She knew it seemed kinda brattish to want to be better than everyone, but if she learnt from their mistakes, wouldn't that make her better.

"Are you a soldier?" She asked, unable to stop herself.

Azar smiled as she thought about all of the times that she had sitting up here and enjoying the sun and enjoying the pride. She was actually glad to see a new young one sitting up here. A slight disappointment was in her because it was not one of her cubs sitting up here. But she was always proud of her cubs, there was no way that she could be disappointed of her cubs, they all did their things and that made her very proud however on the other hand this cub interested her a good amount. "It always has." She chuckled as she thought about it, it was true.

A grin grew on her face at what the young lioness said next. She flicked her tail before smirking. "Thats the kind of attitude I like to hear!" She chuckled some before looking forward. "You don't hear that many talk like that." She then grinned again wiggling her toes in the sand below her feet. "I'm glad to hear some one talk like that it's refreshing." She paused and listened to the young lionesses next question. A smile grew even bigger on her lips. She remembered when she was young and that was all she strived to be. She wanted to be more than that now but she was still working on it.

"Yes, I am." She chuckled grinning widely once again before then stretching her toes out for a moment and looking down at the cub again. "Do you want to be a solider?" Yes she wanted to be better than the lions down there however she could want to be anything.

Kasi perked up when the female seemed to praise her rather than scold her for her arrogant type behaviour. She had always thought wanting to be better than everyone else was a good thing, but people thought it was arrogance or just being a brat mostly. Maybe she was just likely to that stupid boy too much, she thought to herself, staring at the female. "That's because most people are content to be like others," she said, nodding firmly in agreeable to her words. She'd never be content to be sub-par with everyone else. She glanced back at the empty grounds, and muttered - almost to herself - "but I'm going to be so much better than 'average'."

She was pleased to hear that her guess was correct at that the female was a soldier. Kasi nodded firmly and quickly, giving herself a bit of a blood rush from moving her head so quickly and so vivaciously. "Yes!" She then hesitated again. "Well, at first. I don't think I want to be 'just a soldier' but I haven't really thought of any of the higher soldier ranks," she admitted, with a frown. She wasn't sure what was available, or what was open, and it was all rather confusing, but she knew she wouldn't stay a soldier forever - or rather, she hoped she wouldn't.

Azar nodded to the female before chuckling. "My father... Our king used to always tell me, 'aim for the moon Azar because if you miss you'll at least be amongst the stars." She nodded at the idea looking at the sky for a moment. "At first I didn't understand it. What did stars have to do with my learning to be a solider or a general. But I get it now and because of that I'd like to believe that I'm pretty sure that I fight prety well."

she paused for a moment and then chuckled some before nudging the cub gently. "Are you looking for a teacher? I'd be more than willing. I've taught some other cubs but none that were really as into learning this kind of stuff as you appear to be." She smiled at the idea being able to teach some one to fight especially a cub that was as interested as she was made Azar very happy at the idea. She could see some of herself in the cub and it excited her she hadn't met anyone like this and it was really nice to see.

Kasi's eyes widened, not so much at the advice, but at something she had siad to start with. "Your father's the king?" She asked, sounding slightly disbelieving. Did she have to bow to this female then? She said she was a soldier, but if her dad was the king, didn't that make her a princess or something? Ugh. Royalty was confusing. She tried to focus on the advice she had been given instead. Stars? Moon? What did that have to do with being a soldier? She wasn't sure, but she nodded her head so she didn't look stupid.

She tensed when she was nudged, but felt no ill-will towards her in the gesture, so she relaxed again. She perked up when the female asked about a teacher. "Really?" She said, her voice almost a squeal - probably the girliest sound that Kasi had ever made. "You'd be - and I'd-" she stammered, her cheeks heating beneath her fur at how stupid she was sounding. "That'd be great!" She said, voice coming out in a rush, but she shot a beaming grin at Azar. Kasi loved her family, and her own parents, but they had jobs, and twelve other siblings to look after, where-as this female was willing to be her teacher. Not her siblings, just hers.

"I'm Kasi'Wakia," she introduced herself, realising she hadn't done so before. "Daughter of Jyotika and Vanhi".

Azar let out a nice chuckle nodding happily at the idea. "Yes, he is. My parents are the Regents but me and my siblings are just normal members, but it's nice." She grinned at the idea thinking of the idea as if passed. She looked at the lioness as she thought about what she told the young girl. She loked confused and she knew that she could see it in her face and she just chuckled a little mroe at the idea. Even if the lioness didn't get it she knew that she would eventually get it she knew the lioness would get it one day.

"Of course. I haven't met anyone like you little one. There are very few in the pride that have the urge to learn." She thought about it for a moment. She knew that her cubs all wanted to learn, she made sure that they all knew to want to train. She wanted to them all to strive to be the best, however she wanted them to learn from other places and not just from their mother and father, she knew that that wouldn't be the best way for them to learn.

"Ah, Kasi." She smiled before thinking about the parents names. "Your parents are good lions, I've heard of them before."She thought about it for a moment, it was pretty true there had been a few times where she had heard about them. "I am Azar." She nodded, she didn't think it was as important to name off her father and mother the young cub could guess if she pleased.

Kasi peered at the adult. “So, you're not a princess?” She asked, just to make sure. She still didn't know if she had to bow or not, but the adult didn't seem upset with her for not bowing yet, so maybe she didn't have to.

Her eyes were wide, and slightly emotional – though not damp. Kasi did not cry, even if she was young and a girl! - at Azar's words. The adult probably wasn't aware of how big a compliment that was to Kasi. As one cub in a litter of thirteen, she was striving to be different. She had to be different, and she hated the idea of just being part of the litter – and no different from the rest. To hear Azar say she had never met anyone like Kasi...well, it just reaffirmed her ideas that she was different, and she would be better! “I definitely want to learn,” she said quickly, realising she had been silent for a while and had not responded to the female at all. Her head was shaken up and down in another fierce nod, making her head hurt a little with the power she put behind the nod.

She was pleased Azar had heard of her parents before, and smiled. “Nice to meet you, Azar!” Kasi said politely, smiling brightly at the female.

Azar thought about it, what the lioness was asking her, if she was all of her siblings were too and that was a lot of siblings. She thought a little more before chuckling. "I guess in a small way I am but not really." She had heard about other prides where children of the "king and queen" would be princes and princesses, but she was pretty sure that she wasn't one of them.

Azar's grin grew very wide glad that the cub wanted to learn from her. Her face turned serious for a moment before she started to talk again. "We can start lessons next week." She thought about it for a moment before adding more too it. "Meet me here and we'll start out lessons around the same of day." She nodded again at the idea, she had taught a few other lions before but not a female yet, this was going to be really exciting and she knew it.

"It was very nice to meet you too!" she chuckled again nodding to the cub before sitting up some. She took a moment before standing up, she had to go take care of her cubs. "Be on time Kasi!" She warned before turning around and starting to trot back to her den. Now she had to return to being a mother, she loved being a mother but she was going to push some to her cubs to start looking for teachers.

Kasi nodded fiercely at the plans to start lessons next week, eager to get started now, but knowing that it wasn't likely to happen, since Azar probably had better things to do that day then teach her. She was so thrilled to have found a teacher though, and wiggled in excitement. “Okay!” She agreed quickly. She wouldn't have any trouble finding the spot again, since she loved to sit where she was. She glanced at the sun's position in the sky, to make sure she remembered when to come and start the lesson.

Thank you again, Soldier Azar!” She called out as the elder female started to leave, and beamed. She wasn't going to be on time! She was going to be early.

She set off back to her own family den, eager to tell someone that she'd gotten her own teacher!
