I have begun The Hobbit and will read the trilogy after this. All of witch I have done before. But this time I plan to read all of Tolkien that I can. Just so I can know what I'm talking about when there are Tolkien discussions. And so that I will know all about Middle Earth and the histories of the world he created. These first four will take me a while to get through..... Of course, when I yearn for another story, I have lots of plans for those. But...just...I wanna see if I can do it. I've heard that LOTR isn't his best, so I'm really excited to see what the best is. whee Hopefully, when I fall off the wagon, you guys can keep me on track. Cuz I'm not good at keeping goals for more then a few weeks or months.. sweatdrop (Haha! When you're on, you can even PM me to get my butt off Gaia, and get to reading!)AND I'm gonna write down all the awesome quotes I find. 3nodding cool
After all, what better way to use the time? I've got at least a year before I get out of this house and live my own life. Well, actually, mom's rented this house for a year. And hopefully I'll be out of dad's legal guardianship at least by then. And then I'll be under mom's, and she's promised to drop it soon after! So why not just read away? while I can anyway. No school or job or (not internet)friends for right now sadly. emo I'll make my own friends in books. HA! Now you can't interrogate! mrgreen or you can all you want. But they'll always say the same thing... ninja
My reading material was always my choice. It was one thing I had complete freedom in.
Sorry. But I'm just super proud of myself for planning to do this. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. Choo-Choo! xd *Sarah loves emoticons*

Quotes: The Hobbit: "(I should think so--in these parts!) We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can't think what anybody sees in them." --Bilbo Baggins
Wizards, after all, are wizards.
"I will keep this sword in honour. May it soon cleave goblins once again!"--Thorin Oakenshield "A wish that is likely to be granted soon enough in the mountains!"--Elrond
"Lazy Lob and crazy Cob are weaving webs to wind me. I am far more sweet than other meat, but still they cannot find me!
Here am I, naughty little fly; you are fat and lazy. You cannot trap me, though you try, in your cobwebs crazy." --Bilbo Baggins (my favorite of the little songs he makes to anger the spiders. mrgreen )
He issued from the Gate, the waters rose in fierce wistling steam and he soared blazing into the air and settled on the mountain-top in a spout of green and scarlet flame.
"I am the clue-finder, the web-cutter, the stinging fly. I was chosen for the lucky number. I am the friend of bears and guest of eagles. I am Ringwinner and Luckwearer. I am Barrel-rider."--Bilbo Baggins
"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. But sad or merry, I must leave it now. Farewell!" Last words of Thorin Oakenshield
