Welcome!
Nothing fancy here, just a re-homing contest for a member of the En Gedi pride. If you don't know the pride, please read the information here. The contest lioness must abide by the pride rules, has an established family, and must not leave the pride for any reason. The winner agrees to these terms and conditions.

Asenath is a wanderer, an explorer, and out to have fun. She's less laid back and more adventurous. In her adulthood she's started to calm down. She isn't the best leader but she is someone who cares for her family and her pride. He's fearful friend who's afraid of getting into trouble but always gets pulled into a situation he doesn't want to be in. He follows Asenath (as he's scared of her father) everywhere she goes and much to his dismay she always lands into trouble.
Otherwise he's rather sweet and shy. He misses his family as he got lost from then when he was young but Ase promises to help him find them and it cheers him up.

Her father has just passed away after a horrible hunting accident, her mother was lost during the pride's migration as were half their siblings. In a nutshell- things have been very difficult for this poor gal. She is a mother of a hybrid litter, etc. Her closest friends are within the royal family- Jaron, the prince and his father, Rotem have always been a part of her life. How is she dealing with everything?

Hemet-Netjer
As far as I know, this girl has never been rp'ed and has no set personality. However, I want anyone trying for her to be aware that she has family members, her family is devoted to the pride and its royal family, and the traditions of the pride.
Hemet is Asenath's daughter, she has several siblings and half-siblings. There's no pride discrimination against hybrids, so you can assume that she has had a very good life. She was born following the pride's migration, so life's been pretty easy.

She has no rp that I can find and no given personality. Her grandfather is the warrior chief of the En Gedi and he's recently passed away in a horrible hunting accident. Future plots: She's totally gonna baby Ari, since he doesn't really go hunting, and he's easy to keep track of. This will eventually develope into something of an emotional co-dependancy, since Ari, again, can't go hunting or even fighting like his twin or youngest brother.
How is she dealing with all her recent losses? Asenath has become a bit... Clingy. She fears seeing anybody she cares about going out to do anything, for fear they may never come back alive. Because of this, she'll try to baby... Everybody. She eventually will focus her 'protect and shelter' energy on Ari, Kingu's brother, while still trying to keep her grown cubs close as if they're still cubs.
Any lions/pride members you'd like to plot with? Thal, Reeshie... Um... Pretty much just about everybody xd
Also, I blame Thal for feeding my temptation lol

Walk by faith...SN: Depawsit Future plots: | 'Sometimes Life Hurts... | Having no familiar to attach to her, I would love to have her go out on her right of passage, in an attempt to find her totem. During this process she could come across a male or a female that she finds herself attracted to - in a friend zone way for females and a romantic way for males. Knowing the male would not be a part of her pride, and that flings are not looked upon lightly, no cubs would come of this, and probably no romantic involvement, I think of it more as a life lesson. | 'There's ALWAYS Something New To Discover! | Being the story loving hybrid that she is, Hemet will strive to find the stories lost in time. Even those not relative to her Pride. This passion may lead her into a hard decision, of leaving the pack in search of them, or staying in the one place she's ever known. [ Note: If she does choose to leave it will not be a permanent leave of absence. ] If she does choose to leave, I would like her choice of leaving to come as a complete slap in the face to her family, and having Hemet's disappearance come as a sort of 'vanished into thin air' ideal. It is because of this that she was 'forced' into the position of huntress. Hemet DEFINITELY has a very bad case of unrecognized arrogance, and when others point it out to her, she gets highly offended and storms away in a haze of emotions. - Even though she is extremely sharp witted, Hemet's downfall is her inability to recognize situations in which she herself is involved. She can not bring down the proverbial wall that separates her from the rest of the world. Position wise she WILL end up as a Huntress among the pride, though her heart will never be in it. Although she loves her pride and enjoys being such an 'important' role to the pride her passion has always been in the stories. Even as a cub, stories and myths were her favorite part of the day, just listening to them made the cub giddy and jumpy - which got her fussed at quite a bit. As she grew, she even began to develop stories of her own, giving them deep plots, and amazing heroines. Knowing that her real passion is to be a sage, she tends to attempt socializing with them quite a bit more than her own kind - the huntresses - which leads to a small bit of ostricization from the other females. Any lions/pride members you'd like to plot with? I would love to RP with anyone willing to join up with me. I don't have specifics though so I apologize for that :< Though Sages would be preferred due to her fascination with them. Um, I hope I did this right. I didn't see the other entries answer the Prompts, but since they were there I did. If I wasn't suppose to, I am sorry. I'll happily delete if need be. Walk by faith... SN: Lorne_Sionn Future plots: (All plot ideas are that the discretion of the other SoA owners and are flexible to be tweaked for Prideal purposes.) A Single Thread in a Tapestry: Coming into being a Adol, Hemet is plague with self doubts, unsure if the path she has chosen as a Murmmer is the right one. While she adores to dance and express the joy and beauty of life in dance, she wonders if what she does even matters or contributes to the Pride. She sees the Hunters and Warriors as giving so much more, and what does dance and song really impart? Plagued with doubt, and very uncertain, she seeks out Zubin (hopefully), or another older lion to help put things in perspective and show that Murmmer's have a role as important as that of any Warrior or Hunter. We Share All That We Have With You: (Young adult/adol plot) Hemet finds a rouge lion (my Luaith, or another if needed for pride plotting purposes, very flexible) who seems to be suffering from some kind of madness (Luaith is a Seer, his father is the God of Ashes) and she brings him into the Pride lands not knowing what else to do with him. She seeks out the Princes, and brings them to him. If they allow him to stay, she will help nurse Luaith back to health and fall in love with him, but Luaith will not be able to return her affection as he is on a Quest sent by one of his visions and until he completes the task and finds the Goddess of Masks( hopefully, if not there is the God Apathy who is willing to step in for his plot) he cannot stay in one place. Though he will come back if he can, and certainly if the Pride can offer him some peace and healing as he has been tormented since he was a very young cub. This first heart break will mature her, and make her ready to accept whomever she may as a mate, even though cubs will not be born. (assuming she is infertile due to being a hybred.) Winds of Change and Chance: Now come to terms with both her choice of being a Murmmer and her heart ache over Luaith (or another) Hemet is ready to take her place in the Pride fully. She will do her best to become the left paw of the Princes, to be their trusted confidant and friend, and to make Zubin proud of her as a Murmmer and keeper of the Pride's ritual and culture. Eventually she will find a youngster to take under her paw like Zubin did her and apprentice them to become a Murmmer, and hopefully some day she will see Luaith on the horizon again, and fore fill her hearts desire to be with him, or perhaps her eyes will already be full of another when that time comes. What does she plan on doing within the pride? Hemet will be a Murmmer, having been very intrigued by the rituals guided by song and dance. She has a lovely, pure voice, one that had to be a gift from Li-Wei and she raises it often in praise to him and to the joy and peace found in life. Her paws also trace these joyful patterns and you can find the young adol always moving or singing under her breath. She seems to always emanate happiness, even when she is bothered by something. There is a peaceful grace about her that sets others at ease in her presence. Aware of that, she never abuses it, but accepts it as the gift it is. Thoughtful, and compassionate, she is a good confidante, and a gentle joy in times of sorrow for those who are friends, or who just need someone to speak to. Any lions/pride members you'd like to plot with? I would like for her to have some RP time with both the Princes, Eran and Jaron, showing a relationship to the royal family. It would be interesting to have her be that sister kind of role, someone you could confide to, tease, listen to, and not worry about your fears, secrets, dreams or desires end up as fodder for gossip and so forth. Every good monarch needs that one person behind them who is silent, but watches everything and is not afraid to tell you when you are wrong or being a snit. I'd also like for her to have some RP with Zubin as a fellow Murmmer. Perhaps have him as a mentor for her as she learns the very important role that being a Murmmer is, certainly for leading the rituals and rich traditions that are imparted though song and dance. Prompt Response: Hemet looked out over toward the horizon, watching the moon rise over the landscape, tears streaming silently down her cheeks, darkening her pale fur. Grandfather was gone...gone forever, so suddenly and without a chance to say goodbye. The pain of his loss was like a claw digging bright into her chest, and she felt like she couldn't breath. Every part of her wanted to scream to the heavens, why? Why him? Why her family? Did Li-Wei need a war chief in the Heavens? Did he need a strong and wise male to sit at his left paw? Or was it all some kind of mistake, or test for her and her siblings, and her mother? The night didn't have any answers....but were there any? Any that a mere mortal like herself could understand? Li-Wei kept his greater plans close to his heart, and if Grandfather's death was part of that thread, how could she question it, how could she know nothing but sorrow in his passing. Hadn't he lived fully and beautifully? Been surrounded by loving children, and grand-cubs? Held in high esteem by his Pride and the royal family? Truly all that he left behind was proof that Li-Wei found him wealthy in the only way that mattered, family and love. She could find joy in that, and hope. Biting her lip softly, she looked back up to the moon, letting its silvery touch fall over her pale fur, making it shimmer gently. The tears that brightened her coral colored eyes caught the soft sheen, decorating her long lashes in a lacy pattern of light. For several long moments Hemet sat thus, listening to the night, listening to her heart, but most importantly, listening for the voice of Li-Wei. Slowly, she began to hear it, the song that drew all creatures together, that bound them in life, laughter, and love. The song moved thorough her and around her. Hearing it now, steady and bright, Hemet stood, her eyes closing as the music filled her. Gently her paws began to find the pattern in the sound, and soon they were floating gracefully over the sand, tracing out the emotion in her heart. She danced, she danced for her God, she danced for her Grandfather, honoring his life in the grace of her movements. Her voice lifted as the dance progressed, singing of her sorrow and loss, of his love and joy, of everything that had made them a family, and everything that had made them a Pride. Hemet danced and sung her Grandfather’s legacy, till there was no more strength in her legs, or sound in her voice. Collapsing into a heap on the ground, she turned her eyes back up to the heavens, hoping somehow that her Grandfather had heard her, and knew she would love him till the end of her days, and honor all he had left behind as best she could. Coral eyes drew wide as above her several shooting stars descended to earth, and a serene peace filled her, calming the sorrow and replacing it with a simple joy of knowing that her kin lived on, in her brothers and sisters, her mother, and in her. Thank you Grandfather, she thought, I love you..always... __________________ I do have a familer who is not really meshing with the SoA of mine she is friends with, and in fact Lani is off flying around the rogue lands at the moment trying to decide if she is going back or not. She is a vulture and has only two blurbs in passing about her in the Rps she is even mentioned in, as I said, no meshing. Her she is if you'd like to see her. Lani

Future plots:
( I need a distraction ) Whoever wins Hemet, I would like to plot with them! Basically having motherly daughterly moments any and best way they can. ICCly, Asenath will be happy to help her daughter seek out her future and with that, notices that all her children have ground up. This is make her happy yet somewhat sad. Her den will slightly be empty when they move on and will have that 'emptyness' which will make her more motherly towards all. During this, her totem Corbin will be shown the lonely side of her and will bring up that promise she made to him so long ago. To help him find his family. ( Will plot minor meetings with Ase and Corbin to meet his family )
( Accepting Death ) Upon her arrival back from the happy reunion.. She hears of her father's death. Devastated. Her happy self goes in a spiral of 'I belong to my father' and will stay in her den for days at a time. She knows that her friends are there for her but somethings you just can't replace. Especially a father. Becoming one of those who can't accept her father's death she will end up talking to herself as if she is talking to him for some time and will often be at his grave talking to him as if her were alive. Corbin will be very concerned and scared for her enough to try and seek out a healer from the pride to help his Ase.
( Bound by chains ) Her loneliness will be covered up by the constant 'smile' after the whole thing dies down. One day, she will emerge from her den happy as ever and will possibly ignore you or push the subject away if you bring up her father's death, other than that she is always happy but will definitely be restrained by her emotions. Taking a lot of hunts and keeping herself constantly busy and on the move.
( Love is a battlefield ) I want to find someone who eventually gets annoyed by her happy- always happy fake emotions and being always busy that I would like someone to call her out. Someone whom is nice but acts mean. Or seems like a jerk but is really someone who cares. To get her to stop in her tracks- this lion/cat specie would have to pretty much throw her down in restraints to even have her listen.
How is she dealing with all her recent losses?
Not very well. Ase will be constantly happy to the point of being annoyingly happy. Constantly on the move, Ase will be hard to reach as she starts taking on more responsibility to keep herself busy. Maybe even stepping on some toes unknowingly to achieve being active.
Any lions/pride members you'd like to plot with?
+ Would love to plot with her children on trying to stop their mother in that spiraling emotional mess.
+ Would love to pretty much open a mate plot for her, either rogue or in pride- doesn't matter as long as they mesh well with her and join her pride.

Future plots:
Saying goodbye - Asenath will be deeply affected by the death of her father and the loss of a good part of her family. For a while, though she will go about her life within the pride as normal, she will be in a deep depression that she can’t seem to shake off. She will smile at friends but the happiness will not reach her eyes, and the normally adventurous lioness will have no interest in the activities she once enjoyed.
Pulling through - Eventually, I’d like her to see that the pride itself is her family, even if not in the biological sense. In time, maybe months after the loss of her father, she will get out of her funk with the resolve that she must go on with her life the way her father would have wanted, with joy and hope. For this to happen it should be Rped with other pride members, especially her friends.
New Goal - After her revelation, she will still miss her family greatly but her life will have a new sense of purpose. Well, sort of. She’s still the same spacey girl, but now she’s on a mission. If her mother and siblings can be found, she will be trying, and she will not rest until she does. ((OOCly: This is assuming that the family CAN Icly be found. If it’s part of a plot that they won’t be found or she can’t find them, see part 2!))
New Goal Part 2 - Asenath will be all set to go find her missing family… and then romance will happen. During that depression she got close with many old friends, and maybe made some new ones… while she wants to go find her missing family, she finds herself unable to leave her new mate.
How is she dealing with all her recent losses? Asenath has always been a happy, bubbly girl full of life and energy, but lately she’s been very listless. She’s a huntress and thus she still hunts for the benefit of the pride, but she herself eats very little, and when she isn’t hunting she just sleeps or wanders around aimlessly. It’s like her fire’s gone out, and despite the comfort she finds in Corbin and her other friends in the pride, she just can’t seem to bring herself out of it. Eventually, after many months of grieving, she will brighten back up a little after finding a new sense of purpose, but until she finds her family or makes a new one, she will never seem *quite* the same.
Any lions/pride members you'd like to plot with? Family most definitely! Whatever biological family members she has left in the pride and whomever had an existing relationship to her before would be great to RP with! Additionally, the owners of her lost family, if they are plotting to have their characters return or are still around.

Future plots:
1a. My mothers fire; I would like a lion to reject Hemet for a mate, saying she is too fiery and to unsettled. That she is like a magpie trying to catch the moon for its greed.
1b.Running paws; Hemet is unsettled her studying and practice is slipping her moods are going everywhere and she is getting into trouble for her snapping teeth and claws that escape her so easily. I would like her to be spoken to and scolded, told to settle down as she should and find her totem.
1c.My place; Hemet is an adult but her eyes show a child and wild fire. She tries to find her totem but simply keeps failing each time. She grows not to believe in the god of the pride, in peace or harmony. No matter what anyone says.
1d.There has to be more; As an adult Hemet is restless her eyes gaze around her searching for something she simply cannot find. I would like her to finally slip away in search of what call’s her and makes her unable to be in harmony. Maybe she finds a friend, a mate or just someone to tell her wisdom to calm her restless spirit.
Who knows the future; Hemet has settled, just a bit. Calmer now she tried again to find her place in the pride. Yet still she is troubled and restless in search for something she is seeking. Her totem may not be far away but something else is. (Likely this would be if the before turns out to be only a word or a friend)
Your fire can still burn; Finally someone wise tells her what she has always yearned to be told. She is not bad, nothing is wrong with her and the fire in her spirit is nothing to be ashamed of. That she might not be calm and perfectly serene with the world, but it did not mean she was not part of the pride or the world. She could still give to the pride and be perfect just as she was.
What does she plan on doing within the pride? Hemet is a restless spirit who seems to always be boiling over board with some question or want of something. Though she might seem ill fit for the pride, she simply wants to believe and be part of it so much that she just doesn’t know what to do with herself. She is brave and fierce but there is something still fragile about her all the same. She speaks out and argues, but she sometimes loses her fire in the fight and ends up looking down. She is not someone who will go out and take what she wants, she is someone who will search for something and try to coax it to her side with love and friendship.
In the pride she will be a Murmmer because it is something she can use to express herself and put her energy into. This added to another part, and that is she simply loves the dances the way she can twist her body and raise her voice in call and song. She can never be a warrior and she would never wish to harm or kill but with the dance she can flash her claws and cut the ground; but still she would never harm any only bring up the blood of the pride. To call up emotions, to Hemet this is the biggest power in the world.
