Thanks to a fellow guild member who gave me this wonderful idea, we are now going to have this thread for Song of the Week!

I will pick a Skillet song each week with the help of your suggestions and the crew, and I will post it on the Monday of that week and all throughout the week we will discuss the song. What we like and don't like about it, the album it was on, style, just basically discussing it.

This song is from the album Surfonic Water Revival, released in 2010. So it's fairly recent. There's another song by Skillet that also doesn't appear in their discography called Stand. That appears in the Veggie Rock album - an album of Veggietales songs that have been redone to suit a rock theme. That album was in '04, so it's a bit older.

I have heard Stand by Skillet... but never knew about this one. And it says it was made in 1998? What's up with that?

Surfonic Water Revival was not released in 2010, it was released in 1998.

I love the song but you have to buy skillet's concert album from 2010 which wasn't any good really as I found out after I bought it, but live free or let me die is a great song.
