Anyone own a Saiga .223 with the AR Magazine conversion? Im interested in getting a Saiga and doing the Pistol Grip conversion as well as the Magazine conversion. Thought it would keep me entertained for a bit. Im wondering how well it works with the AR conversion. I only seen one person who had any real issues and he said it was only due to one type of magazines he had used. I like AK rifles thought it would be cool to own a Saiga that can use AR mags.

You know they make Galil clones, right? It's pretty much the same thing, just made by a different manufacturer, and more accurate.

have heard about the conversions for AR mags on the .223 sagias, but I have the 5.45x39 and love using the AK74 surplus mags...can even use the 45rd RPK74 mags if I had some.

I thought about asking Vince but I am sort of wanting to do the conversions myself. I would probably be charged out the a** to have someone do the conversions. The Saiga .223 Mag conversion looks to be about $80 the Galil conversion I found was over $100.
