Night has fallen and the demon cub stretches as she stands, looking back and forth in the cave den she's called home since her birth into this world. Cami flexes her paws, her sharp little claws glinting in the moonlight that pours in from the mouth of the cave, "Zheeeeen~" She calls, looking for the twitch of dark ears. Her pale sibling. Cami smiles, it seemed to her that it was time to let the other cub know her place in this pride, but mostly in this family.
Though twittling ears flitted from each side.. she was one to wake late or not so much unless called. When she was called.. her body slowly pulled all her strength to 'wake'. Soft eyes twinkled in the light- half lidded. "Ya~" She called.. the voice she knew was Cami's. She was a 'watcher' and having the gift of photographic memory. If she could wake. Lifting her paw and rubbing her eyes.. everyone else must have left because when she looked around.. she could probably see only one other lump in the darkness of their home. Pushing up on her forearms and looking up. Tail flitting.
Cami bound over to where Zhen was stretching herself awake, and pounced her sister, biting her ears none too gently and then glaring lightly down at her. "So." She hissed, maw wide showing her teeth. "Zhen, Zhen, Zhen~ Looks like its just me and you, baby sister~ Do you wanna play with me~?"
While she was being rough handled- she squeaked just ever so meekly before sucking it up and trying to show that it didn't hurt. For that could be weakness. No. She couldn't be, not in front of family. So she growled in return and tries to push her away jokingly before just letting her sister have at it with her. "Sure~ I guess." Those big eyes looking up at her.. But that face showed so much of a terrible humor- that most lions in the pride showed. She squeaked again trying to growl..Puffing up before pawing at her sister once more. "What are we gunna play- wheres Mum? Da?"
"Don't growl at me~" Cami snarled, though she rolled off Zhen, cause she was satisfied with the squeaks she had made. "They're out, doin their jobs, defending the pride. Like they should. They know their place. Mmm~ But I wonder~ Do you know your place, Zhen?" Her smile was surely vicious and she lowered her head, as if she was going to pounce her sister again, tail twitching from side to side slowly.
When she said to stop the growling- she cut it almost immediately. Ears went back as she felt almost 'freed'. Blinking.. trying not to show that innocence that was DEEP inside. Trying to mask it was hard in itself. "Yea." Lifting her body up and seeing as her sister was about to attack, the only thing she could do was move side step wise enough to be at least about to defend herself. "I'm gunna be like da and mum. Defenders." Pulling her nose back in some awkward serious face. Then she rose up slightly. Her tail wagging slowly as when she was eying others movements.. oh no. This wasn't gunna turn in to a fight was it? She just woke up- but like her rank she hoped to be in. She had to be ready for anything.
Cami laughed, liking the answers and liking that she listened, pausing and not going forward with the pounce yet, "If you're lucky, you might be strong enough to hold that rank!" She hissed with glee, "But I mean now, not just in the pride, but in the family~" She lept then, batting and pawing at Zhen's head and ears, almost playful, except her claws were out. "Defending is not the only thing they do, they also protect the pride's lands and that means attacking!"
Zhen wasn't one for fights and she already could see that Cami would be the first to look through her very very strongly masked kindness. She gave out a hissing growl as she tossed her head aside from the batting and tries to toss her sister down. "If da and ma can! I can too!" She yelled to push her pride in and showed her teeth. If she had to prove it~ even with that cute face- she knew that her devious sister can mean something way different. "What~ I'm suppose to pretend that your my enemy~" Pushing her and clawing at her slight- more to get her to back off. her chest puffing.
"Come on Zhen, its not like it would be all that hard too! Seeing as I'm better than you are in- every- way~" Cami dodged and swiped at her sister, she took a few hits, but shrugged them off, probably landing more than double as she lept and danced around the other cub, "I bet there's more demon in my -ears- than there is in your whole body~" She taunted, smirking.
She growled.. and lowered herself when they grew some distance apart. "No you're not." She huffed. "Bro says different." Hissing. Her tail whipping. "I don't want to fight~" She stated but once she said that she had more demon in her ears- something just twitched in her head. Being made fun of because of her ears and on top of that- the truth hurt- and she couldn't even FEEL her demon which was the worse part! "Nauh uh!" She threw herself out at her sister and swiped with a very wild sorta way- something that was made in the depths of her..
Cami laughed, "What does Jiao know? He's just a stupid -male- Of course, he's still better than you are, you know, even as a stupid male. But if you don't fight you're only going to stay on the bottom of the food chain, Zhen, you know what that means. Slave~" She hisses, grinning. "I'd take really good care of you, you know. I already have, I told Jiao that he's not allowed to hurt you, and he listens to me, because he knows his place." As she was egging Zhen on, Cami dodged and side-stepped the weak attempts her sister made, continuing to mock her into anger.
The slave.. the slave of the family. The horror and anger that grew was almost astounding. Her fangs drew out like her claws and she went again to attack her sister. "NO! HE CARES!" She went after her sister- sliding against the ground and then going to to leap on to her sister. If she had succeeded. Clinging on to her was her first thought. Taking a mawling bite hold on her as you heard her muffled growl. "NOOO~~!!!" She screamed. "NEVER!" The feeling of anger filling her chest and almost bursting.. and the fight of a blank was on then. trying to tumble with her to get a better edge.
Cami hisses and smiles wide, as Zhen lept at her, the demon cub did not hold back when Zhen attacks, she bites and swipes and twists, throwing the other girl off and leaping on her, biting her limbs and her back, anywhere her mouth lands she bites down, as if they were just playing, but her claws are out and blood lust blinds her, "Yes~! Yes yes yes~!"
Zhen lets out a howling scream as her attack was almost foiled as quickly as she proceeded with it. Failing. Taking her claws and swiping at whatever limb she could. Though hers weren't as sharp as Cami's. No sir. Her claws were slightly blunted but enough to try hurting the girl as much as she could. Biting and waving her head side to side with a growl mistaken for a hiss. Her throat was boiling in pain from using her growls and hisses so much. It hurt almost but her mind had gone way aways from that. Thrashing her head as she took a patch of 'extra skin' just trying to tare it off like any other animal they fed on. "GET OOFF!~!!"
Her laughter was high and manic as Zhen screamed and attempted to fight back. This was way more fun than Cami'd thought it would be, she didn't think that Zhen would rebel. Any place that she had been bitten, or scratched, even if it bled a bit, Cami didn't feel it, she would nurse her wound later, but she would give Zhen back the same, and make sure her blood seeped into the dirt. "Never!" She growled through her teeth, biting down on Zhen, her claws out braced against her back. "Submit!"
Her head thrashed to hopefully remove her sister like a horse would its rider. Brashly pushing her body side to side like a snake trying to free itself from an eagle's beak. Her heart pounding and her jaws were getting tired. yes- she was weaker.. she could feel it but she couldn't back down. "NO! I WON"T!" Headbutting the side of her head in to her sister's and with a slithering hiss she swiped against her face and let go of her sister.. Trying to find a way to pull away from her and the only way she thought of- was bucking like a horse and after a few thrashed.. she felt all her muscles sore.
Cami released her, but she didn't quit, even as blunt claws raked her skin, she twisted and kicked at Zhen, slashing back at her. "You're nothing but a weak, dirt blooded cub, slave~" She spat, panting, "You will come to know the truth of it one day, and you will take your place, I should have killed you before we were born~"
