SOme pictures of the Endlers Akari sent me, for those who don't post in the PAAG or the Pets! forum.
Upper right corner above the evil tetra:
All the way at the top above SL and his lettuce:
A FTS with the "fry basket" I made. I cut a bunch of holes all over the jug and used a shoelace to keep the opening above the water:

Every one looks good! Pretty soon, every month you wont have feed your tank for a few days, because they'll be babies all over XD The Tetras will looooove that xd My Bloodfin Tetras used to follow around my dropping Guppies, and eat the fry as they came out o.O
SL looks great! My spoiled little Ninja needs to grow up so he can be ready for his girlfriend(s) next year! scream
Dont feel bad about bad pics, the Endlers are hard to get. They're small and quick, which is a bad combination for picture taking LOL

That'll be sweet, fresh, home grown fish food. I went to the store for fish food and picked up a few males. They're kind tiny though, hopefully they don't get eaten. I got Omega One flakes and Hikari first bites. Then when I got home I looked that the ingredients. The first 6 on Omega One are whole fish!!!! That's amazing. I should have looked at the store so I wouldn't have wasted money on the hikari!!

They went from that dull grey-ish ivory color to having a blue-green sheen! I've been feeding them on NLS alone for about a month. So much color improvement! http://nlsfishfood.com/I would suggest looking in to it. I used to use Omega One Freshwater and Omega One Betta Buffet Flakes, but after losing two of my Bettas to Dropsy, I'm never going back to flakes, even though I do love Omega One. New Life Spectrum is actually better then Omega One, and is the only fish food that can be fed exclusively. Also not sure if you knew this or not, but about a 5-6 weeks ago, Plutto, of my Bettas, started doing very poorly, due to a tumor on his head. It changed who he was completely. He went from being very bold and laid back, to being afraid of everything and not eating. The tumor got so big that scales fell off, and despite frequent water changes, it fungused. He resisted treatment, so I finally gave up and was going to let him live out his life as comfortable as possible. He continued to get worse, and it was looking quite bad for his future. I was running out of fish food, so I bought a can of NLS (after finally finding it at PetCo after years of searching), and began feeding it to the fish as their primary diet, rather then their usual Omega One Freshwater Flakes. They were eating NLS for about a week, and then I moved, taking them all on a 12 hour car ride. Since I've been here, the fungus has cleared up on its own, with no medication, and he is almost back to his old self, personality wise. I fully chock up his recovery to New Life Spectrum with out a doubt. I very much recommend it 3nodding

Well, that could also be because you take good care of your fish. Clean water does wonders for any kind of illness. But next time we go to petco I'll take a look. I don't usually like flakes either, but I figured I'd give them a try since everyone has been recommending the Omega One and it was cheap, lol. Do they make a cichlid pellet? That's going to be my next buy because I'm running low on those, and although my keyhole loves it, I don't think I'll be buying the hikari cichlid gold anymore.

When even treatment doesnt help, and you buy the best foor out there to buy and he gets better, you have to wonder ninja NLS makes food for every type of fish, fresh and salt. Its about the same price as Omega One, and you dont have to feed as much due to its high digestibility (though you shouldnt have to feed that much with Omega One, either). I think its funny how Hikari claims to be so awesome, but they really arent that much better then Tetra. My fish do love Hikari Fancy Guppy Pellets though XD

No, I mean he got better because you take good care of them, lol. Any fish can get an illness, but only well taken care of ones will recover. I need to look for some daphnia when we go there too, I bet the endlers willl love it!

Sweet, I'll set up a brine shrimp hatchery and re-start my log. Bloodworm love noted, when I pop some in, they fight off everyone to get first dibs.

Yeah, I often had to put some pellets in the tank that were too big for them to eat so that Link got to eat XD They are quick little buggers, and they can put down a serious amount of food! =O

I feel like that's why they attack each other so much. If there's not food currently in their mouths, then they're hungry.
