Had it not been for her infuriated current state, young Mojana would likely have not strayed from her den. Fur raised so that many could tell she was irritated, one could hear as she padded her way across the ground before her parent's den, a soft muttering. The muttering had something to do with 'na'artu' and 'na'artue', and 'demons', and the mention of 'Aunt Gentha' was quite prominent in the small one's concurrent slew of speech. Rather irritable, she was, and so were her two demons within. Licking a single paw, the blue lioness sat down on a rock, black eyes staring angrily out into space.

"We do not like foolish Na'artu who think they can be familiar with us....no....we are demons true....we will become perfect...like Aunt Gentha....We will be....." A slow grin spread across the young face, so broken for such a young age, not that this was anything unusual in the Aikanaro'hini, "We will be perfect.....and the Gods will smile upon us."

Skeltyr and her beloved sister Heltyr often moved about the pride as a single entity. Daughters of Jini and her mate Sixx, the two were rarely separated. It almost seemed as if they relied on one another for strength. It was eerie -- both dark little demons with dark little hearts -- always watching with those wise old eyes.

And like slithering little snakes, always choosing their victims carefully.

Skeltyr led her sister towards their latest target. A blue cub born of slaves, yet born with a demon. Skeltyr was more than a little suspicious, and she wanted to pose a few questions to the cub. Reckless, fearless and beyond reproach, Skeltyr blatantly gestured to the cub a short distance away and whispered loudly to her sister, "That one, sister, that one. Thinks she is a demon, yes."

Heltyr dipped her head and smiled at her sister, a smile that promised mischief and pain an all of the best ways, and said, "Thinks she is, does she? We shall see if what she thinks is what is true." Really, it was only helping the pride to find out. It would not do to have a should-be slave fake its demon, or simply be insane enough to pass. It had to be real for the other female to be worthy of her place.

And if the questioning was fun for Heltyr and her sister, so much the better! Better still if there was pain, in Heltyr's mind. Pain was the best of pleasures, whether inflicted or received, so regardless of how the questioning went, Heltyr would be satisfied. Still smiling that dark, promising smile, she stepped carefully closer to the slaveborn cub, confident that this would be quite... entertaining.

Blue. Blue and brown. Truly, how had this cub come to be called a demon? This truly did warrant a full investigation.

"We smell them....We do..." Sharp as a tack, Mojana was, her dark eyes shooting to where she could scent Heltyr and Skeltyr, her gaze narrowing as she got to her paws. She did not like intruders upon her time to herself, and as she moved forth towards the sisters, the mark on her flank, reminiscent of a scar (though genetic), flexed and undulated. It was this mark that Mojana was most proud of....even if it was her mother's. The dark blue on her was another proud factor. As she saw the two that were considering questioning her, she raised her head, fur still raised. She was not going to be questioned without providing all answers beyond a shadow of a doubt.

"We are aware you are here. We can smell you. Bad at smell-masking, would make bad Tsafare. Very bad indeed...." Her smirk curved upwards, "And you speak too much to be good Tirma'eth, or Qatethe. What would you be? We are wise, and will be good Tirmaeth when time comes for us to become our true selves with the Pride."

Skeltyr watched the blue cub with critical eyes, one brow raising in disbelief. "Heltyr, listen how she talks." Raising her chin, Skeltyr took another step closer to the other cub. She didn't like the way that the bratty thing talked to her, and her hackles rose easily in response to the other cubs words.

"She speaks as if there are two of her in there, and we both know there is only one. No slaveborn lion has a demon," she snorted, turning her attention back to the queer blue female, "and we weren't trying to hide else you never would have known we were watching you."

"Besides," she continued, sending a sly glance towards her sister, "we already know..."

"...that you speak lies," Heltyr finished, standing close enough to her sister that their tails could twine together. "You have no demon, you merely believe yourself so." She sniffed delicately, and even as her own hackles rose, she lifted a paw and licked it nonchalantly - as though this wanna-be was hardly worthy of her attention; she was less important than basic grooming. "Insanity can serve its purpose in wreaking havoc unto the world, but not when it tries to masquerade as a better."

This was quite fun play, she thought, as one green eye watched the obviously insane cub before her. Insane toys could come up with such very interesting arguments to fake their status - but toys they were and forever would be. It was almost a pity, that the thing honestly believed itself to be their equal. If it would learn its place it could prove to be quite a wonderful toy to keep.

She laughed. Mojana laughed in their faces, eyes narrowed, cooing, "We are not one, we are three. Three is two plus Mojana here. We are children of Slaves, perhaps, but we are daughters of Aunt Gentha. We are Tirma'eth." She snorted, showing off her larger build, glaring at the two cubs before her. There was no way Mojana was going to allow such filth to speak to HER like that. Demon or no....she was a better demon. She had two. Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu had been her best friends. Almost as close as lovers or family.

"You think yourselves so highly, but you have but two whilst we have three~" There wasn't insanity in her eyes any more, no. Simply a cold, even gaze, and a smirk befitting a demon twice her age,....

Skeltyr snorted loudly, rolling her eyes as she sidled closer to her sister. With Heltyr at her side she felt like she could do anything. She felt stronger, more capable, bolder. She couldn't even think about being separated from her other half. Just the thought of it sent her into a tailspin of anxiety and so those thoughts were better kept at bay.

"Our mother is a true demon. Our father is too," Skeltyr boasted, lifting her chin in a regal fashion. "Our grandfather is as well, and so are our aunts and uncles."

"You don't understand, pale slaveborn. When we are together, we are the same lion. We are four. We are Heltyr and Skeltyr. We are..."

"...demons born of demons, dark and true." Heltyr finished, green eyes glinting vindictively, and not at all frightened by the pale cub's threats. "Mud and water and born of slaves, such things do not make a true demon. To think yourself the equal to your betters is to cause yourself great suffering."

She smiled, then, and tilted her head, looking like an innocent cub were it not for the dark humor lurking behind her eyes. "But if you'd like to play that game, we would be more than happy to provide what you seek."
