The Noble Grandmother
Mwita Maua - Maua is a noble through and through, the value of a lion is based almost entirely upon the amount of purple in their coat in her eyes. She's manipulative, cunning and fiercely determined to raise her family to the top ranks in the pride..and yes little cubs that means you! Maua believes shes the sole reason you are here - after all it was her meddling which got Zamba and Phy together in the first place..and its doubtful that she's going to stop meddling when it comes to your love life, career and behavior either. Grandma is watching you!
The Peacekeeping Grandfather
Kuvunjwa Kivuli - Kivuli has always been Maua's best friend even before they became mates, if anyone might be able to stop her from chewing up your life and spitting it out in whatever order she sees fit - It's Kivuli. Kivuli is kind and gentle and does not share Maua's views on the common folk recognizing the value they add to the Pride. If you've done something to upset Maua, Kivuli is your greatest ally - especially if that trespass includes mingling with the small folk. Kivuli won't let Grandma et you!
The Aspiring Father
Zambarau Kivuli - Zamba is a gentleman for the most part, s he was raised to be and while he might not share all of his mother views on the common non-purple Lions in the Pride he does have some ambitions in life - namely he wants to make it to the war council someday and help advise the King. As such he keeps his station in mind and tries not to ruffle the either the nobles or the common people. It's a delicate balance to keep and sometimes Zamba finds himself agreeing to something if only to make his mother happy. Meeting Phy was one of these 'fine I'll do it' sort of things..but the lioness surprised him and Zamba found himself falling for her. They are now mates and quite in love.
The Demure Mother
Porphyra - Phy is quiet, she's demure and shy and lady like and probably couldn't take care of herself if her life depended on it. You know those old southern Lioness you all hear about..the ones who faint at the first sign of trouble? That would be Phy. Phy can be talking into practically anything to keep someone from being angry with her and as such is often pushed around by Maua who see's her purple hide as a great boon to her family's genetic pool.
In addition to these family members the cubs also have a Rebellious Aunt in the rogue lands named Nyota who was once Maua's favored child but after shunning the pride ways and mating with a mud colored rogue has been mostly disowned by your grandmother. She still shows up from time to time and favor seems to have shifted to another of your Aunts - Pur Jed and your father Zamba.
A second Aunt of yours is only a little older then yourself, part of Maua and Kivuli second litter this child is very obviously the black sheep of the family - Damisi was born with no purple on her what so ever and Maua if anything has grown more rabid in her purple hunting ways after this inherent failure on her part.
You also have two adopted siblings - both of common coloring whom Maua Adopted simply to make herself look good in front of the King after some crazy lioness left them on the Prides doorstep.
All of these characters and several more will likely show up in your Cubs future.

The Homeless Cub
I'm going to keep this contest fairly simple, I'm just asking for entrants to give me some sort of idea on either the cubs personality or some ideas they might have for this girly's future. While I'd love it if they stayed in the pride it's not entirely mandatory if you have an interesting plot that will take her elsewhere as Nyota's did. User Name -

Personlity or Plot Idea Blurb - PERSONALITY: Uzuri's personality would be a mixture of her familys. She would be eager to please, shy, & loving but able to fend for herself and true hearted. she would have a brave heart and would be a natural leader. One who is kind just and fair. She would be soft hearted as well.
PLOT: She would probably stay with her family and rise to be a good leader among her family. maybe even gain the approval of her grandma with out having to look down upon the lions with out purple. She would find a suitable mate by surprisee most likely he may or may not have purple though.

Cubs Name - Mpole'Jioni - "gentle evening" in swahili
Personlity or Plot Idea Blurb - Mpole is a gentle cub, if not a bit prissy. As a small cub she wants nothing to do with getting her paws dirty, or with those lower in rank than she is. She doesn't have as much purple in her fur as she feels she deserves, but she still believes herself to be better than those who have none. As she grows older, however, she'll likely learn a few difficult lessons about worth, and work, and while her rank would let her get away with a life of idleness, she will find herself drawn to helping even those below her, at first out of pity at what they lack, then out of a genuine desire to improve their lives... even if it means getting her paws a little bit dirty.
Future Rank (note - she can be a noble as she has purple on her and was born into noble family) - Nurse. As a position that requires purple fur, yet helps all, it's genuinely perfect for the personality Mpole will develop as she grows up. Nurse caters to both her desire to help, and to her never-completely-squashed need to live up to her rank. Although it will take her getting over her prissiness a bit to truly be any good at it.

Personlity or Plot Idea Blurb - Milena is a very shy girl who finds herself having anxiety attacks of minute things. She does have a more snobby side to her that shows through every now and then. That is that she will not talk to someone unless they have at least a small amount of purple on their bodies. However, she is not opposed to talking with the lower classes within the pride. Milena has no opinion on the groundlings yet.

Cubs Name – Amira - “princess”/”prosperous”/”speech”
Personlity or Plot Idea Blurb – Amira is just as her name intends her to be – a gentle, princess. Everything about the cub is soft, her voice and manners radiate gracefulness. She doesn’t speak up often and is more of a listener, but when she does speak she can gain everyone’s attention with her voice. (Mostly because it’s actually a surprise to hear her raise her voice.) Calm and quiet the petite lioness will always be a perfect lady in appearance, but she will have an inner voice, a completely different side. Secretly she loves watching performances and loves the players and groundlings. If not for her grandmother the lioness would try to go to them more and more. At one point she may try to be a player, but feels that the stage should be left to those who really shine on it. (AKA – she’s waaay to shy for the spotlight) Still she knows her grandmother’s wishes for their higher ranks and so she’ll keep to the upper class by taking up the training to be a nurse. In a way that allows her to be able to talk to those of lower classes as she helps any who are injured.
As a cub I can see her playing with someone of a lower class, possibly even going out into the woods and meeting a groundling, and making quick friends with them. I can see her talking to her grandmother about them and then after getting chastised will sadly have to pull away and start hanging around those of her own class only. For a while she’ll behave and stick to that only politely talking when necessary to those of the lower classes, but once she gets older –maybe around juve or adol- Amira would be bold enough to slip out and be with the players and groundlings even.
I could also see her falling in love with someone of lower class. Maybe a love from afar, a secret crush, which she may never act on or maybe she will act on it and go against her grandmother’s wishes. It just all depends on how things develop through plot and rp.
