Currently some of my own compositions, but I'd like to get back into some of Yann Tiersens stuff. I know, not traditional, but still =)

Performed it, and it went well. Wish I could link school recordings but i think that's impossible. razz

Right now I'm working on Histoire du Tango by piazzolla. I have several violin teachers this semester--all of whom say I need to put more feeling into it (although they all have differing opinions on how to do just that :p ). In 30 days I hope to be a feisty violinist with a passionate tale to tell....or able to fake it very well wink

I'm working on Bach Cello suite no. 1 (the prelude, at this moment) transposed for Double Bass. I do admit, the fingerings are a bit awkward on bass, but it's coming along quite nicely. c:

Schubert is one of my favorites!! I don't know this piece, but I'm adding it to my playlist now...

Classic! I've never heard it on the bass - that must sound like a whole new world! I love playing the cello suites on the... cello... #lessinteresting emo

I wish I could play more of Chopin's music! I played a Nocturne (posthumous) in D minor for my minor piano jury this semester. I couldn't find its numbers anywhere, but it wasn't really technically demanding because, well, I'm only taking minor lessons... But Chopin is beautiful! heart
