Hallways and Corridors

[Aelavi]

A long walk from your room to your friends, but along the way are some interesting characters. Just be careful of room 254 as the last person in there never came out.

The petite oni wandered cautiously through the halls of the school, glancing down at the paper in his small hands every so often to make sure he didn't miss his dorm room. After a few more moments of aimless walking, he stopped; Reijiro was lost. "H-hello..?" The effeminate male called out meekly, in a soft voice that was barely above a whisper, completely ineffective for finding help. The whole vibe of the school scared him. Despite being a monster himself, he didn't like the idea of living in a creepy place. And even the halls screamed creepy. But, he was going to have to get used to it, because that's where he'd be staying for quite a long time.

Rouge peered out the dorm and saw the boy. "What room you looking for?"  

[Nyanobyte]

Rei turned towards the voice, startled. "Um.." He showed the girl the piece of paper he was holding, which had the dorm number he was looking for on it. Little did he know that he was standing right in front of it. A few strands of hair fell in his face as he looked down, a slight blush spreading on his cheeks that was hardly noticeable on his pink skin.

She looked at him. "This is the dorm your looking for... May as well come in, but I have the window-side bed."
((to the dorm room))

Now back in the halls, Rei began on the way to his dorm. Little did he know that he'd already passed it, and was, once again, lost. "Wh-where is the room again..?" The oni whimpered, hugging himself tightly as he wandered through the long halls. "Aren't there supposed to be m-monsters and dangerous p-p-people out here?" Getting lost was annoying enough, but being lost in a place full of things that could potentially kill you was just plain terrifying. Gathering up the courage, he knocked on one of the doors in the hall, hoping that someone nice would answer it and save him from any potentially scary monsters lurking around.

~Rin jumped to the sudden sound of a knocking nearby. Immediantly turning her attention away from her book, she realized that there was someone was at her door. It was easy to tell for her, for she had a high sence of smell, and could easily smell him despite the door seperating them.

~Nevertheless, she was still scared. She wondered if she should answer the door. Who was it behind the door? She couldn't really tell. The back of her mind was wondering if he or she was like the ones before? That, and she wondered if the person wasn't like them. With either one, she wouldn't know how to react, for all of the ones before seemed different in every way.

~After a while, she finally decided it was best to see who it was. So, out of curiosity, she placed the tiny, hand-made bookmark she created herself to mark where she left off in her book, and placed it on the mattress that would be said to be hers before she made her way to the door slowly. The back of her mind already was beginning to regret wanting to see who knocked on her door. Was it a roommate? Maybe, maybe not. A visitor? Unlikely.

~Eventually, though, she finally opened the door, revealing to her a male. Unfortunatly for him, though, Rin had only opened the door to peek her head out. Nevertheless, it was easy to see that the lights were very dim in the room behind her at the time.

~"Y-yes..?" she stuttered uietly, unsure of what to say.

Reijiro waited in front of the door, his fear increasing with each passing second. Several times he told himself that he made a mistake of knocking on an unfamiliar dorm in such a hauntingly dreadful school, and that he only had a few minutes to turn back before it was too late. But, on the other hand, it's not like trying to find his own dorm would be any less risky.

When the door finally opened, a girl had peeked out. She didn't appear to be some sort of terrible, murderous monster, so he figured he got lucky for the time being. "Don't just stand there, let me in already!" The oni demanded, fear taking over his tone. Realizing that being mean would only get him shut out, he decided to change his approach; "there are bad things outside... I can't find my own dorm, so it's not like I had anywhere else to go.. I-it's scary out here..." He added on, embarrassed having to admit that he was scared, despite it being completely obvious.

'It's not like it's strange for a girl to be scared... And how many people here are going to know I'm even a boy?' Rei thought to himself, nodding slightly. It could be said that he envied females, being able to dress up pretty without getting strange looks, able to show emotion without getting punched in the face for it; if only he could be a girl, then he would be perfect. Maybe... He'd even have friends.

~Rin was surprised with the person's sudden demand that held a tone of fright. She couldn't tell if the person was male or female at the moment, but that didn't consern her at this point. When the person yelled their demand, her head quickly began to pull itself back into the dimly lit room. That is, until, the prson began to speak again. "Bad things"? She never saw anything around here. Did he mean others like the ones she dealt with in her life?

~Thoughts began to run through the back of the dark indigo-haired girl. Should she let the person inside? She was scared to do so, but also eager. It was confusing her greatly. Why was it that she was so used to being by herself, yet despised it and wanted a friend?

~Despite the conflicting opposites in her head, she decided to go with one side; to allow them inside. Giving a small nod, she slowly brought her head back into the room, and opened the door enough to let them inside.

(Off to the dorms~!)

Rouge walked, smiling at first, then growing less sure as she noticed fewer and fewer students in the halls. "I thought this school was popular..." she said to herself.  

[Zasoca]

Azrael went out of her room, going along some of the hallways, looking around with her cloak still over her eyes.

Rouge saw the new girl and looked at her cautiously. She didn't ever see anyone trying to hide their eyes before. She padded up to her, tail flicking nervously, and ears twitching at every creak in the floorboards. "Hello, I've never seen you here yet."  

[Zasoca]

Azrael spoke quietly, "I just arrived yesterday." Her hidden face gave off some type of mysterious aura too it.

 

[Aelavi]

Rouge felt even less trustful of the mystery surrounding her. "That's nice, how are you liking it so far?"  

[Zasoca]

"It's alright I guess, you are the second person I have met." She adjusted one of the belts on her cloak in the front because it was coming a bit loose.
