It was another day where Tariq decided to go on a bit of an adventure in the roguelands. He did this from time to time. When he did this he normally he just normally wouldn't be home for the next few days. Otep was pretty okay with that for the first time in a while. She had company now and some one to take care of. At one point in her life she didn't want to take care of anything. She didn't want to be in this pride and more and she definitely didn't want to be living with Tariq. It didn't take that long however for her to change her mind. Well, it actually took a while and after her first litter she fully changed her mind. She liked taking care of her children and she had to admit she grew a soft spot for Tariq. She still didn't get along with many female around the pride but other wise she was basically a huge improvement.
She was heading out of the den for a little bit she wanted to enjoy the morning sun rise and she decided that she was going to sit out in front of her den. She knew she couldn't leave it, most of the cubs were sleeping. Or at least she thought all of the cubs were sleeping but she knew that there was a chance that they weren't. Cubs were like that, one moment sleeping and the next moment not. She flicked her hair out of her eyes and she got more comfortable leaning against the side of the den. She loved mornings like these, her laying here gave her a chance to watch her cubs when they woke up, they could play out in front of the den. She felt like that was good idea for the day. Or at least a good start. She was at least hoping for a little quiet time. But then again she didn't mind.
This was tithe time where she started to notice all of the cubs start to get their own personalities start to bloom. She knew they all acted different however around this time it started to come out more and more and she found it exciting and amusing to see what they were going to do next. So far all of her cubs had come out pretty good, they all grew up well, she figured she must have done something right, she was hoping for the same thing now with this litter.
