Yin-bug:
Tuz wasn't exactly up to any good today. He was up early and he was very upset that no one was awake yet. Extremely upset. He did't understand why everyone was sleeping. The sun was up and everyone was still sleeping. Or at least he felt like everyone was still sleeping. He shook his head and then he took a moment and flicked his hair out of his eyes and then turned back toward the den. Even his parents were sleeping. There was something he never understood, while everyone's parents cuddled together while they slept his parents didn't. They shared a den but they stayed separate. He didn't understand but he didn't care at the same time they still seemed kind of happy, and if anything it still felt like a family. HIs parents just aruged like him and his sister. Including calling eachother stupid!

He decided it wastime to wake up though. At least when it came to his sister. He wanted his sister to wake up. He found it amusing when he picked on her. "WAKE UP!" He shouted as he bounded forward and pounced on to her.

Velveteen Angel:
Safi was content to laze. She was a cub! She didn't have a job, so why did she need to get up before the sun rose? It was nicer to wake up when the sun was...quarter of the way through the sky. That was a nice time. She snuggled further into her sleepspot, enjoying the comfort and relaxation...until her brother yelled. She shrieked, sitting up and striking out, trying to hit him off of her. "GER'OFF!" she shrieked, sleepily. She knew it was Tuz. It was always Tuz. "You're stupid, Tuz!" She bellowed, using one of her mother's favourite insults for her father.

Kasi woke with a start when Tuz yelled and lifted her head to stare at the two cubs who appeared to be wrestling. She groaned, feeling achey and sore. She had been training harder recently, and it was taking it's toll on her body. She would usually be up and bounding around at this hour, but she just wanted a lie in. She kicked out her leg towards Kakek, hoping to hit him. She closed her eyes, mumbling to her 'partner', "You're cubs are up." HER cubs didn't get up until sensible hours, so clearly, they had to be Kakek's.

Yin-bug:
Tuz didn't really care if it was early, or how his sister was reacting. He kept a smile on his face. He usually almost always made it his goal to bother people when he can. Most of the time he was laid back and happy however when he could get the chance to be silly and annoy some one he normally took it. Especially when it came to his siblings. Not his mother and fatehr that much but he mostly like to drive his sister crazy. Then again who didn't like to drive their sister crazy. He thought it came with the title. He arched a brow at his sister and then flopped on top of her leaning all of his weight on her like a dog pile.

Kakek felt the kick. He was a heavy sleeper, the screaming didn't get to him. He was also one to sleep until the sun was at it's highest point and wake up before falling back to sleep longer. He spent most of his nights out gaurding lately. When the cubs slept was when he chose to do his job. However last night was different he stayed home and so now he was kind of sleeping normal hours. Until some one kicked him that is. He lifted his head, his mane pouring over his eyes. He let out a yawn and his best response to the cubs was to stretch out a lazy paw and grab his son before pushing him toward Kasi. "They're my mom's cubs if they're waking up this early." With that he turned toward his daughter and extended his lazy paw once more and pulled her close.

Tuz was surprised to be lifted off his sister and then foudn in between his mother's paws. "HI MAMA!" He chirped before flicking his tail around and turning toward his father. "But... What? Grandma Azar isn't my mama."

Velveteen Angel:
Safi shrieked in irritation as her brother flopped on her. "You're going to squish me to death!" She snapped, trying to wiggle out but to no avail. Ugh! "You're heavy, Tuz," she whined, and was pleased when her father reacted and hoisted him off of her. She grinned, but squeaked lightly as she was tugged into her father's chest. She giggled and smiling up at her dad with bright eyes. She was totally a daddy's girl. "Hi Daddy!" She said brightly, nuzzling into his mane with a pleased purr. Her daddy was amazing, or so Safi believed. She liked spending her time with her mama, sure, but her daddy...well, he was just the best, she decided, happily ignoring her brother now that she was safe from his annoyances.

Kasi opened one eye as her son was deposited between her paws, and yawned loudly. "Don't be mean to Azar, Kakek," she grumbled. "I mean, she had to put up with you for so long, isn't that torture enough?" She licked her son's cheek lovingly though, motherly affection showing her face. "Hello Tuz darling." She wasn't the most openly affectionate female, not out of the den at least, bit inside. Well, she loved cuddling with her cubs, and smothering them with affection whenever she could. Right now, she was tired, so she carefully stepped on Tuz's tail tuff, to keep him in one place, and not rushing off to harrass Safi.

Yin-bug:
Kakek rolled his eyes at Kasi before nudging his daughter a little. "Don't listen to you mother about anything she's just silly." He encouraged. It was something he did often to his children. HE wasn't too sure how much they took in or if they though he was joking but some times he wasn't joking. He then started to clean the top of his daguthers head. He really just wished he could still be sleeping.

Tuz made a face and turned to try to leave his mother's side that was until he noticed that his mother was stepping on it. That made him upset. He huffed nad then flopped down gnawing on his mother's paw a little. When he no longer found that amusing he figured a way to start trouble with his sister. "Kasigood thing dad is giving me a bath, you wer starting to smell bad.' He smirked as he talked to his sister. Not really thinking of the fact that his mother was right behind him.

At his insult Kakek laughed a little under his breath. He remembered when he used to say the same things about his sibligns. But he couldn't wait until his son calmed down some. "My mother is great, however I knew few lions other than her that wake up right now." He then tossed a glance at his son before craning his neck and looking at his other son. "See now thats my boy." He said talking about the other that was still soundly asleep.

Velveteen Angel:

Kasi frowned at Kakek, and couldn't resist sticking her tongue out at him, much like she had when they were younger. He was still a jerk, she mused, even being a father hadn't changed him...but he was a good dad, she had to admit. She liked that her cubs had access to their father, and that he was so willing to take care of them with her. Not that she had expected any less, but she had half expected him to resent the cubs, but he didn't. She smiled at him, unable to stop the affectionate smile on her face as he began to groom Safi. Realising what she was doing, she quickly wiped it off her face and glanced at her son instead, who was gnawing on her paw. She didn't stop him, since his tiny teeth didn't hurt her, and waited until he gave up.

It didn't really take that long. She shot her son a disapproving look at the insult. "Tuz, apologise," she told him firmly. She didn't approve of them being that mean to each other, even though she insulted Kakek on a daily basis. "A bath," she mused quietly though, "now that's a good idea!" She swiped her son closer, and began to clean him too.

Safi wiggled in protest as Kakek began the bath, but contented herself to suffer through it, since there was clearly no way she was getting away from him. She pouted a bit at her brother's insult. "Well, you're just stupid," she snapped. "I can get clean but you can't get smarter!" HA! Take THAT, Tuz, she thought, preening slightly, but her shoulder's slumped a little at the warning look her mother shot her.

"Safi," Kasi scolded lightly.

Safi winced. "Sorry," she muttered, and slumped into her father, sulking. Tuz was always so mean, but she couldn't be mean back?

Kakek couldn't help but to laugh as he noticed the female stick his tongue out at him. He smirked a little back at her. It was an interesting 'relationship' they had that was for sure. Some times they got along and others they fought as they did when they were younger. Some times they agreed and other times they didn't agree at all. They would fight enemies then love as if they knew each other for ever. Even he knew that it was pretty odd. At the same time though he didn't care.

Tuz rolled his eyes at his mother but he made sure that she couldn't see it he turned toward his sister and let out a sigh, "Sorry Safiiii. He huffed upset at the fact that he had to apologize, he noticed that his parents always argued like that so he didn't see why he couldn't argue like that with his sister but at the same time he was just getting too frustrated to really care. He then squeaked a little and tried to pull away from his mother. "But mom! I'm fine! He huffed at her not that sure how he felt about his mother grooming him. He really was fine, or so he though. He tried to wiggle away from his mother unhappily.

Kakek laughed a little before shaking his head a little and chuckling at his daughter before speaking. "Be nice Safi." He couldn't lie he held his daughter to a little different standards then he held his son to. He flicked his hair out of his eyes before speaking to the older lioness. "Now your mother couldn't get any smarter." He said simply shaking his head before he continued to lick the head of his daughter.

Kasi looked mildly irritated at the obvious fake apologies, shaking her head, but not pushing the issue. They were cubs, and they would fight. She could remember getting into countless fights as a cub, mostly with Kakek, but still. She grinned as Tuz squeaked and tried to wiggle away. “Oh? I don’t think so. I think you need a complete bath,” she mused, pulling him closer and beginning her grooming, despite his wiggling.

Safi pouted up at her father, sorrowful eyes blinking up at him. “B-but, daddy,” she whimpered, pawing at him lightly. “He’s so meaaan.” Surely her father was on her side? He had to be, she was his daughter! He had to protect her from all the meanness in the world, including her mean brother. She pulled a face as he groomed her, but didn’t wiggle away like Tuz was trying to.

She smiled a bit at Kakek’s comment though, murmuring a, “Mummy’s the smartest mummy ever.” She yawned, her early wake up call tempting her back into sleep.

Kasi shot Kakek a look at his comment, raising a brow at him. Was that a compliment, or some weird insult? She couldn’t tell with Kakek sometimes. She watched him for a moment, but smiled down at Safi, feeling a warmth in her chest at her daughter’s words.

Kakek looked at the other lioness and then chuckled at his son's grumping. He thought it was pretty adorable. He remembered when he was like that, when he was young and could do what he wanted. He would used to joke around and do what he wanted. And he really wanted nothing to do with things such as bath time that was for sure! He hated bath time when he was little. Tuz really didn't enjoy baths and he tried to pull himself away from the lioness but just huffed in the end and batted at his mother's nose playfully in a final attempt.

Kakek shook his head at the little lioness and then laughed a little. He wiggled his large paw on the lioness's back before smiling. "Never let a boy get the best of you." He stated simply glancing at his mother with a smirk. "Boys are dumb." Tuz didn't like that comment and then looked up at his father with a huff. "Hey!" He half squeaked. He didn't understnad hwy his dad would say that too. However then at that moment his father interrupted him again. "How does visiting my mom today sound?" He asked curiously before then looking toward Kasi and smiling a little. "Then we can drag her out to the watering hole?" He grinned a little looking down at the cubs. He liked to have his mother in a lot of his lfie. "You two would have to wake up your brother though." He commented with a laugh listening to little snores coming from the back of the den.
