It was a gloomy looking day. They skies were gray, the smell of rain was faint on the wind. Inam'ul Haqq doubted it would rain today, however, it did make for a good day to go outside. It wasn't hot, and there was just enough wind to keep him at a comfortable level as he chased after crickets. He was practicing his pouncing and managed to wander away from his family. Not like it mattered much, he was a Pad! Well, it was probably because he was a cub, and though they weren't supposed too, cubs wandered the pride all the time. His siblings did it, so why not him?
Inam's brown eyes glanced this way and that as he found his target again, making a bee line for it. This large cricket was escaping him with every pounce he did. It was stupid, really. Stupid fast cricket. A huff escaped him as he got into position and pounced at it with all his strength. However, the cricket jumped out of the way, causing Inam to roll and kick up a cloud of dust as he did. "Argh! Stupid cricket!"

Enu Enu was getting prepared to hunt, her main duty as one of Nav's Banu. It was why she'd happily gone to his harem from her father's. (Well, that and the fact Fura, his Beybanu, was her friend.) It was a good day to hunt, so long as once stayed downwind. The smell of rain helped mask her scent, and the lower lighting worked in her favor against the poor sight of most prey animals around. She hadn't expected a cricket to her face and a cloud of dust in her nose. The lioness sneezed, shaking her head to dislodge the dust and the cricket, and blinked a few times as she heard the complaint of a young male. Oh! Well, there's what caused them. She smiled and giggled a bit at the little one. "Good day, Pesar. You'll catch it someday."

A female's voice caught his attention and he tilted his head. Well, he had heard the sneeze, but he didn't think anything of it. He was sneezing too! It was the dusts fault, and it made everyone sneeze. Considering it was a very dusty kind of pride. Pesar? Oh right, he wasn't big just yet. One day, he would be! He'd come home with a girl and be a full Pad and then he'd try to move up the ranks and be someone big and important.
"I know! One day that cricket will be my breakfast. Have you eaten them? They're really tasty." He tilted his head and looked this female over. Well now! He had no idea who she was! "I'm Inam! Well... Inam'ul Haqq, but everyone shortens it. You can too, Banu uuuh..." He stopped and blinked. She hadn't offered her own name, so he couldn't address her as such. "Anyway! What are you doing?" Yes, his little cub mind often wondered what Banu did. He knew they hunted and kept the den clean. Maybe she was going hunting! He wanted to go! "Can I come with you? I want to hunt! I've heard stories, it sounds really exciting!" Well now! He just assued that was what she was doing.

Enu Oh! Well, he was an active little one! (Not that she'd personally been any different as a cub herself.) She smiled brightly. "I've had them before, yes. They are rather tasty. Nice and crunchy." She made a small bow. "A pleasure to meet you, Pesar Inam. I am Enu, Banu to Nav'hian." He was such an adorable cub! Maybe she'd have one like him one day, maybe? An adorable little Pesar to love and dote on until he came of age. "I'm going hunting. But it might be dangerous for one your age. Perhaps when you're older and bigger, you can watch?" Exciting...she supposed the short moment that it took to make the kill was exciting?

A grin appeared on his face as she introduced herself. Enu? That was a pretty name! Nav'hian meant nothing to him. He only knew his family, litter mates, banu and mom and dad. Grinning a bit more, he moved closer to the Banu and tilted his head to the side. So he couldn't go hunting because he was little. Well, that made logical sense, but it didn't make him feel better. He wanted something exciting to happen!
"Well.. Do you have to go now? ...Do you want to play with me?" He tilted his head again and watched the female. "We can play hide and seek!" Inam jumped a bit, getting excited as he moved from side to side. He wanted to be on the go, just play all day long.

Enu "Well...I suppose I can put it off for a little." She didn't want to hurt the little Pesar's feelings! And he was just too cute! "I would certainly like to play with you, Pesar Inam. What is it you want to play?" She crouched down closer to his level, in case he wanted to pounce her...and just to make herself seem less 'big' overall.

His tail wagged happily when she said she'd put off hunting for him. That made him feel less little! Puffing up, he thought a moment and then grinned. "Hide and seek! But you can't use your nose, that's cheating!" A laugh bubbled forth from Inam and he pranced around in circles around her as she crouched down.
"I'll know if you use your nose, too! I know a lot of things." He nodded sagely, though he really had no idea what he was talking about. It just sounded really good and he hoped it discouraged her from breaking this one rule.
