 Kati sighed happily, rolling around in a mud puddle. It was a beautiful day for a roll in the mud, and the cub was taking full advantage of it. Mud covered her paws, legs, and the underside of her belly. Once she was happy with how much mud was on her body, the young lioness waded into a deeper mud wallow, sinking up to the sides of body. Kati happily half-waded half-swam around the pit, avoiding going any deeper for the moment. Now, if only she had someone there to share this lovely, cool mud with.

Ifa was climbing trees, not a well advised venture from her mother, but it was fun. The female prowled slowly, watching the ground before spying a mud hole and jumped in, splashing happily. Ifa wasn't the cleanest by any means, giggling and purring happily, Now if only there was--ah! She spied someone ahead and grinned, prowling to pounce.
"HI!"

Kati was happily enjoying her mud bath when she suddenly saw a wave of mud splatter all over her. She shook the mud out of her eyes and laughed. Where had that come from. She suddenly spied another female cub around her age who had seemingly jumped into the mud pit from above. Perfect, someone for her to play with. Kati bent down, and wiggled her rump, preparing for the attack from this new girl. "Hi yourself!" she replied with a smile. "I'm Kati. What's your name?"
This new encounter promised to be fun, it seemed.
