Bukaera was told by Bedeinka to keep the council member leoaprds busy. He could do that. She told him to keep the kings soon to be mate busy. Good as done. Stay away from Ijara. She would deal with him. Now that was just a challenge for Bukaera. The poor lonely leopard, Bukaera thought. He needed some company and he was the leopard to do that. Bedeinka wasn't his boss. Sure they had similar interest, but when it came down to it Buka didn't trust her.

He would show her that he wasn't one of her underlings that she could command when ever she wanted. He would start with disobeying her order not to get near Ijara. After that he would have to do something more outrageous. She would hate the day she ordered him around. He smiled to himself.

His son had told him a little about Ijara. That was one of the reasons his interest in this particular leopard was so high. His son had described 'Mister Ijara' as the perfect leopard. That was something Bukaera had to see for himself. He hoped it wasn't one of his son's wild exaggerations. If it wasn't Ekaitz might find himself with another father. Bukaera liked this idea more and more. Ekaitz needed someone around his life and Bukaera couldn't continue flinging around like he did. He probably had a small army of offspring roaming around the rogue lands.

It was meal time, he headed to where the meat was stored and grabbed a bite to eat. He grabbed a little extra incase Ijara was hungry. He looked around to see if Ijara was in the dinning room. It wasn't too packed mostly because most of the brothers took their meals back to their den. He hoped that maybe Ijara would be there. If not he would quickly head to the leopards den to introduce himself.

The council meeting had been let out a bit earlier then usual so Ijara had taken the opportunity to help the diggers in their newest tunnels. It had been great working with many of the brothers he had grown up with. They took break for meal time and Ijara cleaned himself up a bit before heading off with them. He followed them to the stores, listening to them chat about how they've been lately, what they've been up to. He wasn't very good at asking, but they knew he liked to keep up with them. He didn't normally stay to eat, but he didn't have any where to rush off to and he was enjoying his time with the diggers.

They chatted over their meal. They asked Ijara how he's been, how much they missed him down in the tunnels. One joked about how the overseer brags that a council member was chosen from his lot. That got a laugh from the rest and a small smile from Ijara. He really did miss being down there with them.

But unfortunately time caught up with him and he needed to head off. They asked if he wanted one of them to walk him back but he declined. He said his last farewells and exited to the tunnels.

Bukaera saw him and smiled. He knew it was him because of his son's description of him. A tan lion with beautiful purple markings. He watched as he left. Silently he followed behind, carrying his meat in his mouth. He quickened his pase so he was walking beside the leopard. Than he tripped, on purpose, falling into Ijara. He fell down to the ground.

"Ah I am sorry." He said dropping his meat. "I'm still getting used to traveling in the tunnels." He let out a laugh. "How rude of me? I didn't even ask if you were fine. Are you? If you need me to I could carry you to the medics."

He stared into his purple eyes. He hoped that his personality was as perfect as his eyes, he thought as he stared. "My name is Bukaera. I think you've met my son Ekaitz. He's told me much about you."

When a rough shove hit him Ijara was admittedly not prepared for it and went down with who ever had run into him. While uncomfortable and mildly painful, no serious injures had been sustained. He picked himself up tenderly while he heard the other apologizing. He turned back to respond and found himself in the company of non-other then Torm-Bukaera, Ekaitz father.
He had had the opportunity to meet the cub recently and from the things Ekaitz had told him he was not all to impressed.

"No thank you, I am unharmed. Medical assistance will not be necessarily." He got a better footing to appropriately have a conversation. "Yes, Ekaitz did mention you when we met. My name is Ijara but you seem to already be aware of who I am. Was there something I can assist you with?"

Bukaera smiled warmly at him. "I am glad that you are alright. Being in these tunnels causes be to be terrible clumsy sometimes. It's pretty easy to lose your footing here if you're not used to the rocky surface." He said brushing some of the dirt off him.

"Why I do need some assistance. I need to meet with the king, his aunt instructed me to talk to him. He just needs to clarify my duties or something boring like that. Maybe before I go you could show me around? I would be honored to have one of the council members be my personal guide for the day." He grinned at Ijara. "Though I understand if you are busy."

He let out a sigh. "I know a little about what its like being constantly busy. Taking care of Ekaitz is sometimes a full time job, but I love taking care of the little guy. He reminds me a lot of my older brother, I mean when we were younger of course." He thought about the past for a moment, thinking of playing games with his brother. Those innocent days were gone though. It was Ekaitz turn to have a cubhood.

"Do you have cubs of your own?" Bukaera asked curiously. "From what Ekaitz told me you sound like a fatherly type."

As he listened to Bukaera talk, Ijara rolled his front left leg. It had taken the brunt of the impact and was still a bit sore. He would have to walk it out before it knotted up. He waited to respond while the other leopard cleaned some dirt off.

"Yes, the tunnels can be a bit hard to traverse to those new to them. We usually recommend taking a slower pace until you become more sure of your footing." Hmm, the guides always informed the new comers of the ways to help adjust to the tunnels. Though when he mentioned who had given him orders to find the King, a small frown crossed his face.

"Lady Bedeinka?" She was the one who had brought Bukaera and Ekaitz into the brotherhood? He had just recently meet with the lioness and the experience was still bright on his mind. The older leopard asking to be shown around roused him from his musings. "I would be able to show you around for a small while."

But when Bukaera started talking about how busy he was with Ekaitz the frown slightly deepened. The cub said that his father left him alone often. Before he could ask about that he was blind sided by the older leopard asking him if he had cubs. "No, I do not have any offspring." His leg let itself be known again. "You said that you would like to have a quick tour?"

"I am sure that after some time I will get used to these tunnels. How long have you lived here?" Bukaera asked curiously. He than laughed to himself. "Sorry if I am being to noisy. It's just that since Ekaitz told me about you, I've been itching to meet you. The little guy never even stops talking about you and, as your probably know, he hardly ever stops talking. Keep this between you and me, but I think the little guy has a crush on you, at least that's what it sounds like when he talks about you. He really does take after me."

He noticed the frown on Ijara's face when he mentioned Bedeinka. Bukaera wondered if Ijara had some bad experience with her. He could see how anyone could detest her. She was bossy and rather mean. "Yea Bed is pretty interesting for a lioness. She's not my type though. Not really into lioness. Well I've flirted with my fair share of them, but I never let it go too far. They never seem to have the same appeal to me as a leopard or leopardess does. You know what I mean?" He thought about his many many relationships he had had with leopards and leopardess.

He snapped out of it when Ijara started talking again. "Well since you don't have any cubs of your own you are more than welcomed to borrow Ekaitz any time you want to. I think it would be good for him to have a role model to look up to. To be honest I sometimes wonder if I am that good of a parent. I've had to leave Mazunguko a couple times since coming here. I am searching for my older brother." He explained. "The search isn't going to well though. I hope to find him soon."

He let Ijara lead the way down the tunnels.

Ijara shook his head "No, it is no problem. Most of the Brotherhood know that I was born here." He listened to the other leopard talk about his son for a bit. Yes, Ekaitz likes to talk quite a bit, a trait he apparently shares with his father. But talking has never bothered him, though sometimes the words did. Though when Bukaera mentioned a crush he was confused.

"Admittedly I do not know what a 'crush' is. I have heard the term before but am not familiar with it."

When the conversation turned to Bedeinka and then to different species, more confusion hit home. "I am sorry but I do not know what you mean."

He was a bit more comfortable when the conversation turned to Ekaitz. "Ekaitz looks up to you a lot Torm-Bukaera. A conversation does not go by without him mentioning you at least once. Although my time with him is pleasant, I think what he truly wants is more time with you and I am inclined to agree."

"You don't know what a crush is?" This startled Bukaera. He personally hadn't had any feelings toward another leopard till he ran away from his old pride. Once he was by himself he found comfort in forming relationships. He couldn't understand how others could handle not being in a relationship. The warmth that came with feeling needed made him feel special. Even know his feelings toward Ijara, though they were little, made him feel important.

"A crush is when you first notice you are in love with someone." He inched closer to Ijara. "Some leopards, like me and my son, find ourselves getting crushes constantly. It is a burdon we have to face. The truth is that I am just searching for the right leopard to be my mate. Someone who is handles Ekaitz well."

He thought about the time he spent with Ekaitz. It would be nice if he could take a break and stay with his son for a little bit. However he needed to find his brother. His family was the most important thing to him. Finding his brother was something he knew he must do. He would multitask and scout for the pride. Doing this allow him to leave Ekaitz in the pride and know he would be safe. Taking Ekaitz to the surface was dangerous. His son never stayed near him and often wondered away. He didn't want him to get hurt or worse. The brotherhood was a safe place for a young leopard.

Bukaera's confidence sorta fell a bit. "He may look up to me, but I don't think I am the best role model for him. That's why I keep him here instead of taking him to the surface. He's better off being raised by those who will teach him right from wrong instead of a father who doesn't understand his own morals." He let out a weak laugh. "I admit that I am happy to be his father. He means the world to me. I couldn't imagine living in a world where he wasn't apart of it. That's why I keep him here where he is safe."

"Love?" That was... foreign to him. It had been a long time since his father died, and his only concept of love died with him. He had earned himself an early apprenticeship after that and had shut everything else out. "I never had time for such things. My apprenticeship and my duty to the Brotherhood were, and are still, much more important."

As Bukaera moved closer, Ijara backed up, keeping the other leopard out of his personal space. A thing he had been invading far more then Ijara felt comfortable with. His left leg twinged a bit as he stilled and he shifted his weight back to his other side. "I am sure that one day you will find one who meets your standards. But if you are concerned about your position as a role model, there is always the option to better yourself. You say you do not understand your morals," he gave him a blank, but thoughtful stare "But how long has it been since you last tried?"

"Not enough time for love? What nonsense. I should take you to the surface and find you a male or a female if they strike your fancy." He gave Ijara a wink. A part of him decided it would be best to wait for any relationship with Ijara. When the leopard was more experience he might consider going after him again.

When Ijara talked, Bukaera found himself getting irritated. He hardly ever lost his temper at another leopard but Ijara's bluntness only annoyed him. Instead of losing his temper though he just smiled playfully at Ijara. "Maybe I could convince you to help me figure out my morals. It would give me some motivation." He swatted his tail at Ijara. Than his face turned stern. "Or maybe from now you will stay out of my affairs. It was wrong of me to every mention them to you. I apologize for that. I obviously need to learn to keep my family issues to myself instead of expecting my 'brothers' to help me out. Now if you will excuse me, my son and I need to go to the surface and find my real brother."

Than he whips out his Beyblade and yells Let it RIP!

Ijara frowned "Nonsense or not, I have responsibilities that are more important then matters of my nonexistent 'love-life.'" he had to hold back a slight flinch when Bukaera winked at him. But the way he smiled at him made his fur stand on end. He did actually flinch when the older leopard's tail hit him, dancing a few paces away. Ijara leveled a small glare at him. "I am sorry if I offended you, but I only offer advise. You spoke of giving your son a parent he could learn from. I merely suggested that it be you. Though if you wish to leave, you are free to do so."
