 This is a contest for the Nyota-Wasomaji pack.
Starts:
Ends: April 10th, 7PM CST
1) Please read the specifications for each pup before entering.
2) Please read all of the information before entering.
3) You may enter for both of them if you qualify, but you may only win one.
4) If you don't win one, please be a good sport. There will be plenty of other chances.
5) If you win any of these, please try to RP them. I know people have lives, but I don't want them collecting dust.
6) All of these are meant for the pack and must stay there. Only if the pack is disbanded may they leave.
7) I figured this is a given, but I'll put it down anyways. Mia and I reserve the right to not give any or all pup(s) away should there be no entries that suit us.

.:. The Family .:. This is the first litter born after the earthquake that destroyed the Nyota-Wasomaji. The three little bundles are special to the pack and something that everyone would strive to protect and help grow. They are the future for them.

Your father is a friendly and perhapy seemingly over-happy guy. He is a rather whimsical sort who doesn't seem to let much get him down, and instead looks for the positives in any situation.
Mebsuta - Mother
Your mother is considered a pack grandmother within your family. Just because her rank is grandmother does not mean you're related to everyone. It means that she's old enough to be pretty much everyone's grandmother. Your mother is a sweet lady and loved by everyone even after the disaster, so there's no way you'll be alone while growing up.
Zhangzi - Older Brother
Your older brother is a simple, quiet pup. He already pups in the interest in becoming a Night when he gets older. Some hope he'll become a Star-Tracker though due to his ability to already recognize constellations in the sky. Over-all, he will be a support to his brothers, his family and his pack no matter what he chooses to be when he's older.

No matter how many wild dogs you own, you may enter for him. Prompt #1 You're the youngest and also the smallest in the litter of three, how do you handle all of the extra attention that the pack gives you? The extra meal time with mom, the extra cleaning, furs, nannies, etc. Prompt #2 You have no other pups to play with except your brothers since you're the only youngsters within the pack. This causes you to spend a lot of time with them. Do you love them to pieces or do they annoy you to no end? Do you find other ways to entertain yourself? Are you a loner? Meaning: Nahuatl name meaning "Radiance/Brilliance"
Rank: Colossus
Personality: He has a kind heart and always thinks of others. Growing up with a happy family has made this pup a happy one as well, though his worry for others can sometimes be overwhelming and pup him in a downward spiral. He prefers to keep himself preoccupied by doing a daily run, trying to keep himself fit for when he hopes to one day become a Colossus. He hopes to live up to his parents' expectations and make them proud.
Future plots: Perhaps run into a mishap with some sort of enemy of either the pack or a wild animal, hindering him in his line of duty. It will be a large blow, and possibly even change his personality to a more dark one.

Meaning: Mercy, protection
Rank: Colossus
Personality: Brave and strong, he loves to stand out for his siblings when picked on by wrestling the one who caused it until their parents stepped in the way. He always shows mercy to his opponents but plays and tries to enjoy puppy life as much as he can.
Future plots:
After watching a group of wild dogs training to become the guardians, or warriors, of the pack, he was amazed and loved it.He even tried to copy them as they trained! For days he kept watching until he heard by the trainer that being a fighter relies on Strength, Willpower, and Speed, but Speed is if you go after a cheetah. Wanting to become one so badly, he did some practicing by himself to become like one.

Personality: Very playful and silly, he always picks on his older brother Zhangzi. Every time he can get his chance, he always jumps he big brother but gets taken from him by his mom every time before he can begin to play.

Prompt Response:
It always gets bothersome but when nap time comes or mealtime, and she is busy talking, he either sneaks away to see his siblings or eavesdrop on one of his parents. When nannies come by, he always escapes to at least see the hunters on his favorite rock but the only thing his hates the most is getting cleaned more then his brothers.

You have no other pups to play with except your brothers since you're the only youngsters within the pack. This causes you to spend a lot of time with them. Prompt Response:
It gets very lonely so he tries to see his older brother but with his work or mom in the way, he never gets a chance. When he sees the hunting dogs leave, he always go to their grounds on a rock and sit there and watch them hunt and when food is brought back, he gets excited until he yelps softly to his mother or father calling and has to go back.
Prompt 3#:
What do you think of you parents? Your siblings? Is your father to friendly and needs to be more serious? Does your mother need to give you a chance to explore? Should your older brother talk more? should your second older brother not wander off from the beginning to the end of the fighting dogs' training times? What do you think?
Prompt Response:
Father should try to be a bit more serious and watch them sometimes, and mother should give him a chance to wander about the pack to learn of it. Zhangzi should talk about his thoughts and everything and his other brother should stay home more often.
Future plots: Is going to a hunting dog that goes for the big prey.

Name: Manahem
Meaning: Form of Menahem, which means 'comforter.'
Rank: Night
Personality: A social butterfly, Mana cannot be left alone for long periods of time or he gets anxious. He has grown too accustomed to the attention lavished on him by the rest of the pack though is sure to not let the attention go too much to his head. Unfortunately, it has created a pup unable to be by himself. In order to escape those times he is alone, Mana takes to wandering around aimlessly until he can find another individual to talk to. This, of course, leads him to becoming lost often. But with one quick look skywards for guidance, he can most times as not find his way back to familiar terrain.
Despite this, Mana has a deep interest in all things living. And dead. Sometimes his wanderings are done on purpose, to find some bone or the leavings of a meal to poke through. If the carcass found is nearly, or fully, intact, he has been known to treat it like a living being. He will talk to it to fulfill his need for companionship, much like someone might speak to their pet just to talk, knowing it can't understand what they're saying. This calms him when he's alone, allowing him to investigate to satisfy his curious mind. You are not truly alone so long as you have something to talk to. Even if it is dead. Everything found is given a good burial once he's finished looking and speaking to it.
Future plots: Good ones are hard to think of on the fly. While on his pilgrimage, I'd likely toss my other SoA at him so he can learn their stories. My lioness, Elikapeka, seems a good candidate for this. She's rather wise and would help him to survive on his own and to find him stories to discover his constellation. I can see him trying to hunt on his own, but his bright ears give him away, so he'd stick by her when she's prowling the roguelands herself. Just out of frustration and perhaps loneliness without the pack he has grown used to always having around.

Personality:
Swafi loves all of the attention he gets as being born in the very first litter of pups after the earthquake. He finds great pleasures in being pamperred and looked after. While his brothers might like playing a bit rough sometimes, he would rather let all the adult females gather around him, give him all of the attention he thinks he deserves and let him know just how adorable he is. And he knows that precisely well himself. From a very young age he has learned how to allow the bright colours of his pelt to dazzle everyone into giving him exactly what he needs or wants. Very well-mannered he may even appear to be a bit snobby as he thinks very highly of himself but he knows very well that ladies always chuckle when a gentleman treats them with respect.

If I have to be completely honest with you- I absolutely love it! I love all the attention the older ladies have been giving me. I love it when they gather around me and take care of me. And, mother... Well, she's an absolute saint, if I may say. She can see that I am quite a bit smaller than my beloved couple of older brothers and she gives me even more food and cares. See that fur? It's softer and shinier than anything you've ever touched, no? Touch it! Do you see what I'm talking about? Yes, that is all thanks to my sweet mother... To tell you the truth, I really do believe she loves me best but, please, keep that a secret and do not tell my brothers for I fear they might be hurt.
Future plots:
Apart from growing up to be an absolute flirt, making ladies fall for him by telling different stories every night, Swafi might travel away from the pack lands once he reaches adulthood, in order to see whether his charm could bring a few female (and, why not some male) wild dogs into the pack. Or maybe a rogue breeding from which he would try to bring all of the pups.

Name: Yasir
Meaning: “to be rich”

Personality: Yasir is very well behaved. He listens to his parents and nannies. He does his best to make sure that his little brother is growing up well and will look up to his older brother. Yasir likes to try new things though he is extremely awkward in almost everything. The only thing he really seems to be good at is hunting. So far all he really gets to hunt are the bugs within the cave but he is the best out of his siblings at catching them.
Future plots: When Yasir becomes an adolescent there will be a time when he becomes a bit “girl crazy”. He'll be completely awkward and I hope that he'll find that it's harder to get a girl then he thinks it is.
As an adult, I want him to find his one and only, to which he will be completely devoted to. He will want many pups of his own and find that being rich can mean different things. Yasir will be rich in love and family.

Personality: Zotikos will grow up to be a very caring and protective dog. As a pup, he tends to have an extremely short attention span. It's hard for him to concentrate on one thing. He is very open with his emotions and in this sense, is easy to read. He absolutely loves playing with his brothers but wishes there were more pups to play with.

Prompt Response: Zotikos absolutely loves all the attention he gets, though he hopes to grow big and strong like his brothers. There are some times that he doesn't like being the smallest even if the benefits are great. It makes him feel special that he gets extra time with mommy and extra attention from the nannies. He doesn't quite understand why the whole pack is making such a big deal about him and his brothers. Zotikos wonders if his brothers love the attention as much as he does. Though he rarely ever thinks long enough to come up with much answers to any of his wonderings.
Future plots: I kind of want him to discover the role of star-watcher. One day, he'll be asked as a juve to help watch some newborn pups only to find that he loves caring for them. His playful attitude will stay with him to adulthood.

Name: Seren
Meaning: Welsh name meaning "star."
Rank: Unsure. He would love to be a Star-Tracker but feels daunted by such an honored position. May end up as a Star-Watcher, since he feels more able to be himself around younger members.
Personality: Sweet and kind hearted he adores his parents and siblings and longs to be just like his mother as the example she has set to the whole pack as well as to her family has made a great impression on the pup despite his young age. However he feels desperately inferior to his wonderful mother and can't imagine himself being half as good as she is when he grows up, but he will spend his lifetime struggling to live up to his own expectations and trying to make her and the pack proud of him. Rather lacking in confidence he will do almost anything for anyone in the pack.
Future plots: Easily picked on or bullied, he will rely heavily on his two brothers and his friends to keep him emotionally safe. Due to the fact that he is so very hard on himself, he will struggle for acceptance in his own eyes and it will be up to his friends and family to prove to him that he is not as useless as he thinks he is. The upside to this is that he will be a hard worker and a member that the pack can rely on.
