Bakit nga ba? Ano sa tingin mo?
PostPosted: Mon Mar 19, 2012 9:17 pm

Narcissism masked as patriotism.

Filipinos are too concerned with putting up a face. We are too proud of ourselves that we often forget that we have nothing to do with Filipinos who became successful on their own. Yet we still shout praises like "Pinoy yan!" or "It's more fun the Philippines!" blindly like how a dung beetle is proud of its own house made of s**t. You can be proud of it but it's still s**t. rolleyes

Not really, no.
Just because a few filipinos had success in their lives doesn't affect our overall economy. We can blow our own horn as loud as we can but that doesn't mean we have a lot to show for it.

Think of it like a small child playing in the dirt, making balls of dirt to proudly show off to the other children who have very nice psp vitas. Then seeing as the other children aren't interested in the balls of dirt, he loudly and annoyingly brags that a friend of his has a psp vita too.

Change starts in our very selves. We can be proud of our country and being Filipino's but we can never deny that progress has been very poor in our nation. Even the way our government runs' poorly. Personally I think the Philippines problem is its citizen's mentality.

To add, it's how you see yourself and the way you live your life.

"There's plenty for everyone. It's just how you see life."
