Kai, leaving for a certain job in Republic city, arrived at the docks of the Fire Nation, using the small amount of treasure he had stolen from the Fire Palace to pay for his fare onto the said ferry to the City. He had heard it was quite different than the nations, wondering what he should do first, something illegal or something mostly legal.

On the boat, Kai had a few revelations. Why does he do evil things? What does he gain? How can this possibly help him?
His answer was "Because I feel like it, I'll do what I want. I don't believe in evil and good, so mneh." Very simple and easy to understand, why go deeper when you're so much happier on the surface?

Kai finished up his meal. The trip wasn't that long, really, taking about 3 days from when he left. The meals weren't the best, but at least it wasn't war time. He told jokes with the other travelers about how he had forged the seal of the Fire Lord [when he had actually stolen it] and told the captain he was a relative of the Lord. They had a couple good laughs.

On his near to final day, they were entering the bay when the captain and some of the passengers surrounded him. After a good look, Kai noticed they were his dice buddies from the day before, and one of them had his bag... Oh. Immediately understanding the situation, he created a flash with his Fire/Lightbending and blinded the crew, kicking the guy that had his bag(1/7). With a slight nudge after he was off balance, the guy fell, and Kai twisted, ripping the bag out of his hands. He removed a knife from his hand, backing up before throwing multiple knives, one at a time, at their feet, pinning one foot to the ground(1/3). Looking off into the distance, he could see the city, predicting it would be around another hour until they were there. Taking his chances, he ran to the front of the boat and jumped. Using a knife to pin himself to the planks, he hid under the slope, letting the others think he jumped for it(2/3). After they had departed, for the rest of the time, Kai just pulled alot of pranks, including throwing wood chips into their soups and stealing their income and grub whenever they turned to the side to talk, all in an abnormally stealthy way(2/7).

In the final hour, Kai did many things around the place to be annoying, which would also help with his escape. With his knives, he climbed to the side of the boat, using a Pinning shot to create a foot hold for him to make things a bit easier(3/3). When he got up, he was on the same side as the gang who tried to beat him for cheating. To draw their attention elsewhere, Kai threw a utensil at a guy in the far-end side of the boat, who immediately looked in their direction(3/7). With the skill of an thief and street performer, Kai was well versed in things such as street fights, where you can't just go and bend your way out of things. He had trained with knives and throwing since he was little, learning a child can't beat an adult normally, they needed an advantage. Range was his(4/7). While the guy started arguing with the gang, he sneaked behind them pinning them to the ground without them noticing and seeing how long it would take for them to notice. Next, he moved to the mid-side of the boat, finding the docking door(5/7). Taking out a few more knives, which he kept in excess, Kai jammed the doors of the boat and made it near impossible to open without an abnormal amount of strength or multiple people(1/3). Finding his stuff and some money/food, he hid in the cargo hold, which had a separate entrance than the passengers'. When the ship docked and they were all tired as hell, Kai walked out elegantly as they watched him from the boat and tried to jump over the gate, ending up in the water between the docks and boat.

The boat rocks as the sea was choppy under the cloudy sky. A storm? Maybe, Yun stood up at the front of the boat as usual, what looked like he was smelling the air, also listening. He lets out a sigh, walking back to Autumn.

"Storms coming, all we can hope is we get to the temple before then."

"Hmm? Are you sure? How can you tell?" Autumn look out at the open sea. The bout is a bit bumpy and dark clouds are around but it could be anything.

He points to the skies at the sea birds.

"See them flying towards our previous destination? They are tyring to escape the storm."

Autumn looked up to the bird flying away. "How do they know the storm is coming?" She started asking question. "Do fish know too?" She pointed down to the sea water.

"Fish naturally take cover in reefs near the shoreline during massive storms. Lobsters head towards land to lower water, which is way thats prime time to catch them. Sharks also swim to deeper water during them."

Yun chuckled.

"Other than the wind and the ocean being extra rough, you can probably feel why its cold when we're in a rather tropic region. The humidity has dropped, which means a storm is coming in. However this strong, we're lucky if it is just a storm and not a hurricane."

"Huh... I wonder how's the hurricane is like? I've seen the snow storm before, it was so windy~ Couldn't play in the snow when they blowing in my face." She told a bit what she only say.

By the time she asked the question, the two felt the boat bump and then come to a stop. Sailors rushed to get off as the incoming storm was coming to the shores of the Eastern Air Temple. Yun and Autumn would rush off as well.
