The Pride

The Family:
The Mother
Bashira is a quiet and reserved girl that strives for a relatively peaceful and secure life. Bashira is very honest and rarely says things that she doesn't mean unless the situation calls for it, and she tends to follow through on her actions from start to end. Being very practical, she won't very often believe it until she sees it, she prefers facts and clarity. While she is not overly affectionate, the well-being and stability of those that she cares for is of her highest priorities. The cubs will traveling with her to the Kuroi'Nera.
As a young cub, her family was killed and she was taken by a group of lion mercenaries to be raised as a killer. She escaped when she was an adolescent when a friend who was a seer told her that she would live in a place where she could live without fear one day. Ever since then, she has searched for the place where she could live in peace. If your mom spaces out occasionally or tells you scary stories, it's because of her time in the compound.
The Father
A cocky, self-confident and very prideful male who thinks he is great at everything he does. A cheat and a thief, he pretty much had everything going his own way. Lions got cheated out of their kills, leopards got cheated out of their dens and women got cheated out of their beds. He took pride in his ability to charm everyone, males and females alike, and to extract almost anything he wanted from them and slipped away into obscurity before they even realized what he had done. There are few rules that he wont break if it suits him and he has some of the fastest paws in the business when it comes to thievery.
Tricked by a K'N cheetah into taking the fall for her after she stole from a rather fierce pirate, he was forcefully conscripted into joining the purple-coated female on her trip back to her pride where, leashed and bound, he was given the ultimatum, join or die. With no other choice, he reluctantly agreed to join the K'N pride. Since then he has learned that not all creatures are so easily tricked and is struggling to accept his new place in the pride and having to work, for the first time in his life, at advancing himself in order to regain the privileges of freedom and choice he once took for granted.
When out and about one day in the pride, he runs into a very familiar silver-coated female who is trailed by a bushel of silver and bay cubs. Shocked and somewhat appalled by this reminder of his past mis-deeds, the slowly reforming male reclaims the small family as his own and while far from the most ideal father-figure, he is at least now facing up to his responsibilities and working towards becoming a better mate for his silver lady and their cubs.

The Family Friend
This is Segurue. Bashira met him as a youth and now they are traveling to the Kuroi'Nera together. He is a friend of her's and the cubs will probably still see him after they've reached the pride. The cubs will be living and traveling with him as well as their mother. Even though he has a rather stoic demeanor and doesn't show much emotion, he looks out for them and can be easily convinced into joining the cubs in their antics. He is sort of your unofficial uncle.

Meaning: Very Bright to Life
Personality:
He looks towards the bright side of each day of his life but with his brothers his bad side wakes up. He can be a bit sassy at his brother and exiles himself a lot from him. He likes to keep to himself, even from his sisters and just wishes he could live a life by himself.
Factoid:
His left eye gives a very thin blurriness meaning its slowly becoming blind. His eye will be blind by the age of adult.
Prompt:
Arriving to a new place never really stuck him, all he didn't like was training but it at least kept him in exile. at night he ate alone and slept alone and thought of everything that was going on.
Future Plots:
Truth hurts:
This is when he finally confronts his brother with lots of anger when ends up making his brother upset and makes his bad side go away from him then they spend time together for two days and after that they part again.

Race for A Meal:
here he has to race Segurue, who finds a meal left alone to waste away the same time he does, and when they race, Ziv loses but steals it away and when Segurue realizes it, he hunts Ziv down and finds him in trouble with two adolescent cheetahs who claimed the food first and was about to hurt him but they ran away leaving the food with Ziv thanks to Sergurue.

First Love Hurts:
Here he meets a two girls who takes and interest in him and even if he was okay with it, he needed to make a choice, but he like them both and it was decided in a race and he finally made the choice but got in trouble when the girls real lovers came and chased him and then he stood up for himself and got the girls off of him and headed home.
Adult
Moving out's Mystery:
For the first time, he was ready to leave home, as he left, he hunted his first meal but when he fell asleep without supper he woke up at morning with the food gone and wondered what it was and after tracking it, it was his own family but leaving it, he got more food and finally got his fill and shared it.
Love's day:
As he sat on a rock thinking of when he stood up against the guys as an adolescent he saw a girl getting hit on by a guy. After saving the girl he walked away for the night but woke up with the girl in his house. Startled, he backed up because she let herself in without permission and when she woke up, they spent the week together which turned out for them falling in love.
The day of Revenge and Cubs:
remembering he saving his new love, he knew the male she was saved from mention that the cubs would be the first to go and when the cubs came, he did all the hunting for food but when a hole was in the den, it was from the male and he blocked every hole with rocks and came to his brother for help.

Meaning: Charming
Personality: Haiba is a very personable little cub. He likes to meet new friends all the time and is constantly talking. He knows how to butter just about everyone up and uses that to his advantage to get what he wants. While he seems very sweet, he is incredibly manipulative for a cub. When he grows up, he'll be able to use the talent of his silver tongue to continue to get what he wants out of life.
Factoid: Due to a mishap at the watering hole the first time he was there, he is terrified of water.
Prompt: Father...he had known that he had one, of course. The idea of ever meeting him had never crossed his mind. Haiba knew where his siblings and himself got their coloration, then. He wasn't too sure about meeting this male, which was odd considering he was always excited to meet everyone. But this cheetah...this one was different. Maybe spending some time with him would allow some father-son bonding to happen! That could be exciting...and maybe he could teach him a few tricks. He really did enjoy tricks.
Future Plots:He could do some innocent things with his siblings that will unknowingly enhance his smooth-talking skills. As he grows older he could have confrontations with his parents to try and n** his sly and tricky ways in the bud.

Name: Bhekizitha
Meaning: Zulu for "Watches for the enemy."
Personality: Very much used to habit and routine, Bhekizitha likes things on a schedule. He knows he needs to open up, but life needs structure and control. He loves his mother and agrees with her practical mindset. He strives to please her, but can easily take things too far.
Factoid: He has anxiety problems and will be prone to anxiety attacks until he learns to control himself. Since he is unable to control his anxiety, he tries to control the things around him. He is also claustrophobic since closeness restricts his area of control.
Prompt:
No way. I do not like this one bit. Mother has brought us to this strange place and now things are too clustered. There are others everywhere and things are getting too packed too...no...breath...don't do it. Calm down.....there, it passed.
I am told we are to train. Good. It will be a nice distraction. Structure in a time of turbulence is always welcomed. Though, the news of meeting my father is... well... not unpleasant. Just, new. I will see where this male stands. For now, I will remain neutral.
Future Plots: As a cub, he frequently has anxiety attacks. He relies on his family to help him through it. Over time, someone works with him to not need a family member to survive an attack. As he grows, he learns to suppress the attacks, which doesn't solve the problems. It isn't until he has a loving mate that works with him to completely overcome his short comings.

Meaning: “peace” in Zulu
Personality: Xolani is a very nice boy. He is considerate of others and their feelings. He always says “please” and “thank you”. Not one to be rude, he tends to put others feelings before his own. He considers himself to be an honorable boy and has decided that he would never leave a female on her own like his father did to his mother. Though not an overly friendly or talkative cub, he is pleasant in conversations. He believes in free will and the ability to live life the way one wants to. That is why he is so nice, even when faced with an opposing opinion because he thinks everyone has the right to think what they want.
Factoid: He says thank you to every meal that he partakes of to show his appreciation to the animal whose life got taken to keep him alive.
Prompt: Xolani didn't like this, not one bit. They were to become part of the Kuroi'Nera. No longer were they to roam free doing things the way they wanted to. Not only that but he finally met his father. He accepted long ago that his father was to not be a part of his life and yet here he was, their mother led them straight to him. He supposed he should accept it. At least his father was trying.
It wasn't the arriving to a new place and meeting his father that bothered him. It was having to train during the day against his will. He didn't want to hurt anyone or be hurt. Most of all he didn't want to have to do something he didn't want to do. Now he wasn't one to force his opinion on others and was against a way of living being forced upon him. But he couldn't leave. That was the law. Xolani wished that he could be free of them but never could. Now he would just have to attempt to live as honorable as possible within the confines of the Kuroi.
Future Plots: I want him to encounter a girl that can get the better of him in a fight and possibly embarrass him.
I imagine him struggling to find a way to meet his ideals of living while wanting to be successful within the K'N. This would probably be a long plot with many things happening to shape how he will be as an adult.
It would be nice to find him a girl that is more outgoing then him to be his mate. One that won't be afraid to put him in his place or knock some sense into him should he stray from the right and honorable path.

Name: Harako'mawazo
Meaning: “quick thought” in Swahili
Personality: Harako is very compulsive. He acts on every urge before thinking on it. Of course, there aren't many thoughts in his head to begin with. Unlike most cubs, he isn't the curious sort. He just accepts things and lets the world go on around him without wondering about it. When he speaks, he does so in a calm and very matter-of-fact tone. Harako always does his best to control his emotions though sometimes things get too exciting for him to be calm. He is kind to others and mild mannered. Other than his compulsiveness, he is an overall well behaved cub.
Factoid: Harako likes to collect little things from bits of fur to bones to unusual shaped rocks.
Prompt: Harako had no idea that his mother had been leading them to meet his father. Nope, he had just been following after her like he always did. He greeted his father with the same warmth that he did his mother, rubbing his head along his father's leg. It was something he just did without thinking. He was absolutely fine with living with the Kuroi'Nera. Not like he had ideas of living anywhere else. If his mother wanted them there, then that was fine.
Harako found the training to be hard for him. He didn't really enjoy having to possibly hurt another. A few times he even offered a paw up on random urges. Though sometimes he did good because he knew he had to do the training. There was not much else to do at his age. There were no fanciful notions of leaving. This was his home now and here he would stay.
Future Plots: I would love for him to eventually become a merchant. His kind nature would lead him on a path where he would hopefully not have to fight or anything like that.
I'd like for his compulsive nature to get him into trouble, mostly with girls.
His collection will continue to grow over time. It would be interesting to see how he reacts if something got stolen from it.

Name: Nhlakanipho
Meaning: Wisdom in Zulu
Personality:
At first, Nhlak is going to be boisterous and nosy. He'll put his nose where it doesn't belong and probably look to stir up drama among his siblings just for his entertainment. If things don't go his way, Nhlak has no problem pouting and trying to get attention from anyone he can.
Growing up, he'll grow out of being loud and obnoxious, but will probably always want to see the drama that happens. He won't be one for secret keeping. Despite all this, however, he genuinely cares for his family and never wants to see any of them seriously hurt. If he sees someone hurt any member of his family, he will go berserk and try to protect them or get even. He's basically a typical guy in that sense. He's the only one that can pick on his family. Yeah, he might take it too far, but he never does it out of pure spite.
He also loves a good practical joke!
Factoid: He wants to be a Currency Fighter. He can protect his family better that way, he believes.
Prompt:
Charcoal eyes looked around as the small group of cheetahs wandered after their mother. He'd been told they were going to see their father and it made his chest clench. He didn't need a father! He was doing fine without one. He was protecting his family and doing a darn good job at it, if he said so himself! Upon meeting his father, however, Nhlak figured out where he got his self-confidence from. Yes, the silver boy knew he was full of himself, but he hadn't realized it'd come from his dad.
Living here was a definite change. He woke up early and trained along side everyone else. While he hated it at first, Nhlak hated it. It was structure, rules and he had to listen to someone, for once! But, as he did it longer, he realized that it was actually pretty fun. It would help him reach his goal to become a warrior of sorts! He would protect his family. It was what his heart told him to do! Especially his sisters. Yeah, they could take care of themselves, but he prided himself on protecting females. He saw them as something that needed protecting!
All in all, Nhlak couldn't honestly complain about living in the Kurio'Nera. It was alright. From time to time he got tired of all the rules and training, but it would help him, he felt, in the long run!
Future Plots:
Cub:
As a cub I want lots of RP with his siblings. I want to get one of his sisters to be his partner in crime in pranking. Harmless pranks, but pranks none the less.
Juve:
I want him to get into some serious fight with another cub. Get a few nicks for defending one of his sisters that maybe gets bullied or that comes home crying over something. I want him to lose.
He'll start taking his training absolutely serious after this. He'll be focused on getting stronger so he can protect his sister better.
Then, maybe, he'd go back and challenge the one who fought him before and fight him yet again.
Adol:
I want a girl to throw off his training. Someone that he'll put his attentions on and he'll start getting a bit sloppy in pursuing her.
Then I want her to break his heart and get with another guy. He'll try to pick a fight with the first person he sees, at this point. Probably a family member and to blow up on them so bad that it rocks their foundation of trust.
He'll work hard to pick up the pieces, and do everything he can think of to say he's sorry.
Adult:
He'll eventually work his way to Currency for Fighters. He'll learn how to control his temper by this time. He'll still get worked up if anyone messes with his family, but he won't be quick to pick a fight. He'll just keep a better eye on his family and confront whoever was messing with his family. Nhlak would try to talk it out first.
I'd want him to find a mate that would spar with him. Who can handle his jokes and his foul moods when he gets in one. I won't rush this because I feel he'll be very picky about who he settles down with.
