Stretching out her paws, Wei was lounging just within the temple, enjoying a bit of relaxation time. It had been such a long time since she was promised a happy life with another, and her heart finally felt light again. She had tried not to get her hopes up, but she really couldn't help it - she was so young when she first left her pride with a stranger, and she thought that it was all just like a fairy-tale. But, as Wei now knew after waiting months upon months for someone who would never show up, real life isn't like the fairy-tale that she had previously dreamed of.
It was all right, though. She thoroughly enjoyed this home of hers, and while she didn't get the fairy-tale she had originally wanted, she found no fault with aspects of life here, by herself. It had allowed her to really take a step back, and figure out not only herself, but what was really important in life. She didn't hate that male lion for not fulfilling his promise - things happen in life, and she could only hope that nothing horrible had happened to keep him from this place. As much as it may have hurt, Wei would much rather be lied to and abandoned than have something bad happen to the one who abandoned her.
Though, she wasn't too fond of thinking about it. And now, laying in the cool shade of the temple, it was probably the last thing she wanted circling around in her mind. Shaking her head a little, she was half-tempted to take a nap, but she felt compelled to stay awake, in case anyone dropped by.
