  Because of RL reasons I cannot follow through with a huge flood plot, however I still have these beauties to give away for the pride! Because of that I'm going to hold a mini-event! Read on to find out about these lions! They will all be part of the Nchi'Mahadhi Pride. The pride full of music. Feel free to read up on it and find out more before entering. Other than the devastation caused by the flood that has recently hit the Nchi'mahadhi pride the pride found it doing everything to pull itself back together. The pride is coming back around though, with Mawi Mai taking over with her mate Aapep, and the pride rebuilding the drum circle, dens, drums and shakers. All of the pride are coming together and celebrating the rebuilding and as the celebrations started there was a knock of strangers at the door. Six lions approached the borders of the pride looking for a new home. They had come from a long distance and were now looking for a new home. The four males and two females came from a pride far, far away and had traveled far when they heard bout the Nchi pride. They had come from a similar pride where music revolved around everything. Although they find some of the Nchi's habits odd (being as friendly as they are, being led by females) they are more than happy to settle into the pride and make themselves at home! All of the ranks are open for this event. As long as there is space for some one to take the rank apply for it.End Date | August 10th (Short time I know but college is coming up and I go on a little trip on this weekend. So the contest ends while I'm away and I'll have time during the week to judge.) A few simple rules 1 | Do not apply if you do not plan on RPing any of these guys. If you feel as if you cannot RP them any longer please let Yin-bug know so she can re-home them. 2 | These lions cannot leave the pride. 3 | Have fun! 4 | Be creative and interesting! 5 | You can try for all of them but only win one!

 This pair of brothers are the leaders of the group. They were the ones who heard about the pride and they wanted to take the journey to the new lands. They obviously know how how to lead a group but other wise we don't know much about them! To enter for these guys find a partner and enter! Anyone can enter for these guys

 The two males above were important members of the pride. The male on the right used to be the teacher of an important instrument in the pride. What instrument? Well that is up to you! He is going to bring this instrument with him! You decided what it is, remember it has to be simple enough to be made by the lions with the help of the baboons. The male on the left was a keeper of songs. He was the one who kept track of all of the songs in the pride! Have an idea of one that he brought with him?  These two girls are a little different. They're blank slates, no history nothing other than the fact that they are going along with the group to join the Nchi pride. Make up something interest. Make up something with the other lions in the group. Make these girls interesting. Personality: Kokoro is a very kind and caring lion as his name suggests) he is very warm hearted and accepting of others. He is very calm, relaxed and his presence alone brings often brings a great feeling of peace and serenity as he is one with the earth. He always thinks before he acts thus making him, unless he has time to think, a bad hunter, but the peace he has reached within himself makes him a highly regarded drummer. He is patient and very relaxed most of the time, but can be protective when it is needed.
Feelings to brother: He loves his brother deeply and wants the best for him even if it causes Kokoro great pain. He is a little protective at times but always sees enter brothers name here) as an equal and never looks down on him for any reason.

He never likes to fight and cares to sing for its his passion, not hunt or fight though he will hunt to keep the pride at peace.

Personality:
Bry is like a vine herself but a good one. Her claws are like the spikes of vines and roses, they keep her from getting harmed on some occasions but will use them to get her own food. The brown of her fur is the blossoms, the flowers that hold her inner and outer beauty. The green markings on her body represent the vines that she is. She is happy and likes to keep the ones she travels with along side her, for is a bit protective. She is kind and gentle, able to be like a rose herself, watching herself and others, wanting peace in their minds. She loves children, all types from familiars, to pups, to cubs. She is a mothering lioness who wishes that they live greatly for they are the future.
History:
She never really had much of a memory for when an adolescent, she got amnesia. She could never remember a thing except the only ways she could use to survive. That was when she met her friends. Happy to move to a group, hearing about this Nchi pride was familiar but couldn't put a claw on it. Agreeing to go with them was all she could do. Throughout their journey, she developed a great friendship with them, happy to have others to be with.
Relationship with Travelers:
She loves them all; the males, her female friend. It is a great Pleasure. She has a great love interest, meaning a crush, on the creamy blonde lion for he was a great man. They did spend time together until another lion swept her off her paws half of the way only to leave her for a prettier female. Still the same, she just is friends with the rest but she treats them like family.
Plot Ideas:
The plots don't come randomly but i can think of one or two.

Personality: Very much a go with the flow type. Enyeto enjoys everything life has to offer, however, others may mistake his chill nature for apathy. Quite the opposite, Enyeto is a smooth type of lion who never really gets angry. His confidence in just being himself attracts others to him. He's not outwardly affectionate, but a good beat always gets his body groovin'.
Feelings to brother: Bros for life, Enyeto and Ndoto are great friends and balance each other out. Enyeto enjoys Ndoto's free nature and doesn't mind playing along with his plans. However, if Ndoto's games go too far, Enyeto is there to help cool things down.

Personality: Ndoto lives life to the fullest every day. His strong voice can usually be heard singing as he goes about his daily routines, and thankfully he's quite talented so normally it's not annoying. He, like his brother, is very go with the flow and has a carefree nature. Unlike his brother, he's full of energy and must always be moving. He can be a bit silly at times, joking with others and teasing them, but he knows when he needs to be serious and always follows through. He is the yin to his brother's yang, balancing his mellow with excitement.
Feelings to brother: Ndoto loves his brother very much and is very thankful for him. There's been more than one time where Enyeto has gotten him out of trouble or come to his aid. They often finish each other's sentences when they're together, and Ndoto couldn't imagine life without his best friend.

Personality: Out-going, fun-loving, wanting to please and tell stories about things that he had seen, and how he had come to making his xylophone. He generally just wants to help everyone out, and have some fun doing it.
Instrument idea: A bone xylophone attached together by leather strips at the top to keep the bones together, along with a pair of sticks with leather tied around the end stuffed with fur. Kinda like a drum stick sorta but specifically for the xylophone bones.

Personality: Jini is a flighty female. She's a youthful spitfire of a lioness, who doesn't settle for things she believes to be 'below' her. She's dainty and lithe and knows how to use her body with poise and ease. She can be a bit of a flirt, and may have a tendency to pull someone's strings without meaning to.
History: Raised in a large family under a different name, Jini left when her flighty nature could no longer be restrained in the monotony and boredom of siblings, where she felt she was just another face in the crowd. She wandered along for a long while under the new name she had given herself before stumbling across the group of travelers.
Relationship with Travelers: If she isn't the youngest of the group, she sure does act like it. She's very much like the youngest sister of the group, and loves the others very dearly(even if she may get on their nerves at times, or get herself into trouble that the others may have to pull her out of). She treats the group like her new family, and would do anything for them.
Plot Ideas: This would have to be discussed with other members of the group, but perhaps a sort of love triangle that she gets herself in? (Maybe with the brothers?). I'd like the other female from the contest to be a sort of "big sister" role to her, but that would also be discussed with whoever ends up owning her : )

Personality: Outgoing and friendly too all that are friendly back, can be fierce when needed. enjoys dancing and singing. she likes to make friends with many different species. Has strong friendships most of the time, unless turned sour by the other party. she is very charming as well.
History: Leaving her family once old enough, she sets out to find a pride to join and someone to travel with, so she may have a strong friendship, she didnt have many as a cub..She wanders through the plains for days and some late nights are spent searching for someone...anyone to be with.She meets these travelers, and sure enough, she will make friends with them.
Relationship with Travelers: A charming and friendly attitude brought her great friendship with these travelers, they acted like her second family, with wonderful brothers and a wonderful sister, leaving her the happiest she had ever been since she left.
Plot Ideas: A brother might fall in love with her, or both of one of the brother pairs might both fall in love with her, while the brothers were at peace with eachother before, they might suddenly act lovestruck with this female, giving her gifts and hunting for her, that sort of thing?

Personality: Jami is a withdrawn sort of male. He eagerly teaches and performs the songs he's kept in his heart for his old pride, but beyond that he stays to himself. This isn't a cold sort of silence, but more of a near-loner, one who merely is comfortable with silences and quiet contemplation. He is a bit socially awkward because of this, and tends to become dismayed if forced into a situation that requires socializing or public display that is not singing. He is very happy teaching young ones to sing, but fumbles and grows self-conscious when dealing with females his own age, whether teaching them or not. He's an aging bachelor, who has long lived a solitary den-life. Sometimes he seems faintly uncomfortable with the idea of the pride being led by a female, but it merely is his difficulty in dealing with the fairer gender, rather than an honest dislike of the idea.

Brief Explanation: In their old pride, they had a rock with a hole in it. They marked the surrounding rockface with marks indicating the months as indicated by the sun and moonlight. It was a very old, old tradition, and this was a teaching song for children to show them the varying seasons and celebrations, starting with the beginning of a new year. It taught the cubs that the passage of time was acknowledged not just by the marks, but by the dances and songs that were performed each month/moon.

Personality: Pembe was always a steady lion. Dependable and trusted to always be where he was needed. When the leaders heard of the Nchi pride and determined to head there, he was perfectly willing to go along with the idea. He simply had to put his foot down on the mude mrefu pembe. Yes it was long and unwieldly, being half again his own length, but was it not his namesake and the heart of their old pride's music? He remembered when he was young, listening to group of the mude mrefu playing together, and how magical it had seemed. The lion knew he was born to make, to play and to teach the instrument. It was his true passion in life.
Instrument idea: Essentially, a didgeridoo. A long branch that has been hollowed out and polished inside and out to produce a low, smooth tone that can be modulated by manipulating the tongue.
