Though shikume has the power to demote us all so we could quit if we so decided.

We tolerate it because if we say we're going to leave, you make us vice captain. And we would leave because this place is boring. It's a step away from dead because guilds aren't the thing to do anymore. Guilds pretty much bore people to tears unless they are role playing guilds, and even a lot of those are dead or dying. Also... There's the nifty fact of you're a ******** of crazy and that's a lot to deal with.

Right-o. Good luck with that. Because people leave all the time. Even if you make them vice captains, they can still decide to be inactive and make the vice captainship invalid.
All guilds die. Go find a new website or something. Or... perhaps something fun in real life. You have a girlfriend. Go play with her instead of with the computer. Trust me, she's more fun.
