Heres a nice show of how quickly my smallest Comet has changed colors from his "Fry Coloring" to his "Adult Coloring" smile

Yep! Goldfish are born black, green or bronze, and develops into white, orange, etc, as they grow. Shubunkins are born white, though, (actually, matte) and develop their calico coloring as the grow.
