Guidelines, etc... || ::
o1 || :: All ranks, unless otherwise stated, are open for these cheetahs. ^^ Though, I ask that you be conscientious about pelt color when thinking about certain ranks; while things are changing, there won't be a whole lot of, for example, natural colors in the nobility. Don't let it restrain you, though, as I only say it as a guideline. ^^
o2 || :: As this is a character contest, you don't need to restrict yourself on what kind of personality your cheetah has. ^^ ICCly, they're all going to be newly accepted rogues that wandered into the Makini's forested lands.
o3 || :: Please remember that you will need a JRP to get these guys certed. I'll be more than happy to have a group JRP set up once the contest is finished. ^^
o4 || :: I added a note in-thread, but I'll make a note here as well: Generally, there are two names that each cheetah has: an inside name and an outside name. There are even places for both on the cert. They don't actually need to have an outside name, as long as their inside name fits SoA's naming restrictions. ^^ <3

Which || :: Starry Female
Names || :: Mapema Asubuhi (Pema) - Swahili for 'early morning'. I decided on this because when the sun comes up the stars remain in the highest part of the sky even as the horizon starts to change color. The purple fading to blue reminds me of the beginning of a sunrise with very faint stars in the deepest part of the sky. Upon joining she may toy with changing her name to Aube, which is French for 'dawn'.

Bio || :: Pema is a cheerful cheetah that enjoys the smaller things in life. She'll pause to smell the flowers and admire a butterfly floating by. She wishes she had a talent for the arts and tries her best at singing and dancing, but really her skill is hunting. She's incredibly fast, even for a cheetah, and is rarely out-done by her prey. She's on the small side, though, so sometimes her catch simply shakes her off and is done with her. She has a very can-do attitude, though, and is rarely down in the dumps. She always has a smile on her face and loves to make others laugh.
Notes || :: Due to an accident when she was little, she can't see color. Everything is in muted shades of grey, black, and white. It's as if she's seeing in constant night vision. She doesn't understand how color works and she'll probably bother people about what 'green' looks like or how 'orange' differs from 'purple'.

Names || :: Mkali Macho (Mkali) - Swahili for 'bright eyes'. The name choice was obvious to me, since his bright blue eyes stand out against his jet black pelt. He will keep his name.

Bio || :: Mkali is as smooth as butter on velvet in everything from his movements to his voice. There is an odd fluidity about him that draws to mind oil creeping through water. He seems to float wherever he goes, walking so lightly on his paws that he hardly leaves behind prints. He's not very talkative and prefers to watch rather than participate. He'd rather flee than fight and finds violence without a cause horrifying. He could be called a bit of a delicate flower, hating to get his paws dirty and doing grunt work. He'd rather be lounging under a tree or listening in on a conversation from behind a rock.
Notes || :: Mkali loves the water as it helps relieve the heat of the day. Being all black is something of a curse in the hot African weather. Although he's not very coordinated at it, he'll spend a whole day paddling around a water hole.

Names || :: Hila Dhahabu (Hila) - Swahili for 'trick gold'. Again, his eyes caught my attention with their deep, rich golden color. Of course, they're not really gold. I originally wanted 'fools gold' but the translation for 'fools' was a bit long for my taste, so I switched 'fools' for 'trick' to get a shorter translation. Upon joining, he'll change his name to Or Faux, French for 'false gold'. His nickname would be Faux.

Bio || :: Hila was something of a con artist before joining the pride. He could swindle a night out of a pretty female for a few songs or distract a vulture from a meal with a dance. After joining the pride, he picked up his singing and dancing numbers as his 'job' and he couldn't be happier. He feels very at home among the cheetahs and loves to be loved. He's something of a womanizer, but he really means no harm. He loves to flirt and has no shame when it comes to showing off. He'll probably have more than one angry mate chasing him through the pride for batting his golden eyes at the wrong female, but Hila will love every second of it.
Notes || :: Without attention, Hila will not survive. He needs to be needed, wants to be wanted. If he is ignored he'll become incredibly withdrawn and nervous, rendered immobile by his loneliness. He tries not to be overbearing in his attention-seeking, because having someone hate him would be his absolute worst fear.

Names || :: Alphonsine (a French name meaning "Noble and Ready") This is suppose to be somewhat ironic. If I win her, I cannot see her ever getting married, unless she meets someone as obnoxious as her, so the fact shes an unmarried noble who is ever ready to fall in love but always unable to do so just seems so funny.

Bio || :: Alphie, as she likes to be called, claims to be related to the Cagoule line through some great aunt, or something. No one really knows because when she talks about it her voice raises slightly and she speeds through all the details, leaving many scratching their heads in wonderment. She isn't -old-, per say, but she isn't a fresh young female for that matter. She has been around and remained unmarried. Some rumor she never will marry because of how incredibly outspoken she can be. Indeed she has an opinion and she will tell you what's what if you lack the knowledge to stop her before she's begun.
Alphie has a fondness for bright, shiny things and loves to gaud herself up in all manner of pretty trinkets and jewelry. In fact, she would go to almost any length to acquire pearls, as they are her favorite, especially the pretty champagne colored ones. She cannot keep her nose out of any's business and loves to hear gossip about everything and spread whatever she hears to any who will listen. Indeed she is one of -those- ladies.
Notes || :: If ever she stumble upon a rogue, or a new cheetah who is still learning CheetahFrench, her accent would be UNBEARABLY thick. To the point she would almost sound like she's speaking French. And even when she IS speaking french, her pitch, tone and speed make her a bit hard to understand even if you're familiar with their language. Also, she has to have the most annoying laugh. Ever.

Names || :: Laurette (French name meaning "little laurel tree") Her colors reminded me of tree bark so I wanted something Frenchy, and woodsy for her.

Bio || :: Laurette was born as just another cheetah in the Makini. She had no claim to fame, or nobility and her family basically just were merchants and Scouts. Her mother was a scout, just as Laurette is now, and her father is a merchant, selling small knick knacks and such when he gets his paws on them. Laurette found the way many females, mostly of the noble class at least, acted to be quite uninteresting. So in an attempt to avoid becoming such a female, she became somewhat of a tomboy. Indeed she liked to go out and play in the mud, had no real concerns for her looks and could care less about gossip, nobility, or a husband. Often times she can be heard muttering how she would be so much better off being a man in such a place.
Once she managed to get through her youthful years and become an adult, she began working under the Yclaireur's, learning how to do what they did. After a rather long and somewhat obnoxious apprenticeship she became a fully fledged scout and takes every chance she can get to go out and do what she does best.

Names || :: Édouard (French name meaning "Guardian of prosperity") I like this one because it seemed like something that a knight might have, plus it's fun to say and he looks like an Édouard, don't you think?

Bio || :: Born as a simple commoner, Édouard didn't have much growing up, sure he lived a relatively easy life, but there was not much to do besides hunt and try to pass the time. As he grew older he watched the Chevaliers and envied them. He wished so badly to become one, and with his siblings they would always play Chevalier et Filles and he would always pretend to be the knight while his sisters were princesses and his brothers pretended to be mean hyena's. Every time they played he would bravely fight off the "hyena's" and save his sisters. It was just something he knew he was destined to do.
So after much hard work, dedication and so forth, he made it happen. After doing many favors for a lot of those in nobility he finally got the recommendation he needed and began his official training.
As a Chevalier, he takes great pride in his actions and words. He is careful about what he does and says and is ever the gentlemancheetah. He is one near anyone can go to for a task to be done and he will jump on the chance to prove himself time and time again.
Notes || :: Common born cheetah who made his dreams come true. Typical knight in shining armor type and is ever ready to do what needs done no matter what. He also has one of those deep husky voices you'd expect from the hero of one of those dime store romance novel to have.
I reserve the right to add more forms for the other three if the inspiration bug bites me <3

Along the lands of rogues, the girl never really fit in. The other cubs never could understand her and she couldn't understand them very well but still knew what they were saying. After growing up, She went off on a journey to hunt that her siblings sent her on but didn't know they were leaving the area so she could be left to herself. Well, as she was traveling, she came across the scouts of some pride after stalking some prey and was pretty much in a tight knot. Listening to them talk was pretty clear, like it was in english, to her and knew they spoke in the same way she did. Talking with the scouts, they decided to present her to the Roi to see is she would be accepted.
Notes || :: She always hunts where there is water for it blends her in. She also never really could take in things well so she is slow.

It was nothing but laughs and silliness. She always been able to create things that could entertain in any way possible and even get them to have fun. One day, after gone to get supplies to make a fun bedding that hung by being tied to trees, she remembered of a story about jungles and remembered seeing one and headed off, thinking nothing but food was there. Well, once she started collecting the supplies at the unknown boarder, she got jumped by the Chevalier's. In trouble, she hopped to survive but never knew what would come never for her eyes were covered the whole time.

Ah, and I feel I should add this note, after looking over the entries~
To make things easier as far as the naming rules go, there is a section on the cert for both names:
While Mael's name would fit with the SoA naming rules, not all will, and with the added exposure to the rogue lands, it seemed like a better idea to have the two names on the cert. c: An outside name isn't at all mandatory, though~ ^^ And since they would be incoming rogues, they wouldn't really have to change their names unless they wanted to. Or they could just take on a separate inside name. C:

Bio || :: She had never really enjoyed living with her family, always being told to do this and that. They were not worth her time. She was well off living alone, and so that was what she did. Every night she would dream a dream of a new home of hope with others like her. Since she was so used to taking care of herself, she asked if she could join the pack.

Names || :: Benvolio (From the word benevolent) || Hodari (Swahili: Brave)

Bio || :: Born into the pride to very wealthy merchants. Often doing selling their goods to the nobles of the colony, the couple was able to get their son into a squire position. The young cheetah has just earned his knighthood.
Benvolio is a kind and just knight. He is modest and extremely grateful for being given the chance to become a knight. Benvolio wants nothing more than to prove himself to the colony and keep its members safe. He knows the code and he knows it well. Despite his vows to put the greater good first, he still places a fair amount of trust and respect towards the royal family. More often than not Benvolio believes their decisions are a part of the greater good and supports them.
Unfortunately, he doesn't really get anything outside of knighthood. Girls, flirting, and politics are a mystery to him. When trying to talk to a pretty female, he is essentially reduced to a stuttering mess. Political intrigue confuses him worse with its corruption and grey lines. Having been trained in a code of chivalry and a set of black-and-white laws, Benvolio struggles making decisions that don't have a definite right or wrong choice.
Notes || :: There should totally be a squire rank. From my understanding of the knight system it would be a commoner rank, since most squires never actually became knights.

Bio || :: Eldest daughter of a litter born to newly appointed nobles. Upon coming of age, Giselle was heartbroken to find out that her pelt didn't meet the proper criteria for being considered a “true” noble. It broke any innocence she had retained from childhood and left a cold, cunning, and at times cruel politician. Giselle, desperate to prove herself worthy through other means, studied the workings of the royal court and now knows its ins and outs like the back of her paw. She is obsessed with her status and will do anything to get a bigger pawhold in the royal court.
Because she will do anything for power, Giselle can be rather unpredictable. You can never know whether she really supports you or whether she is waiting for a chance to throw you under the bus. She demands loyalty from her “friends” (more like followers) and keeps them in line through fear. Giselle believes it is better to be feared than respected.

Bio || :: Lee is a plucky and cheerful female that spends her time entertaining those around her with great pleasure. She loves her lot in life and wouldn't change it for the the world. Dancing is her speal along with singing. She is forever wandering around with a new song on her lips and a wiggle of the hips. Her second love being the stars up in the sky; her fur being a reminder of that love. Half glass full sort of personality and oddly enough never seen the badness that the world can be considering she is an entertainer.
