.~*{ The Skadu'kliek Pride }*~.It seems you have stumbled into this fine cub contest of the Skadu'kliek Pride. Before we get started here is some information about the Pride. The Skadu'kliek are ninjas, or mercenaries. They are hired out to do anything other prides or rogues want them to do. This includes, and is not limited to, killing, spying, stealing, rescue, searching, etc., pretty much an innumerable amount of varying jobs. Payment for these jobs are generally food. The more of the payment there is, the more important it is. There are four clans within the Skadu'kliek, they are as follows with an overview:Snake Clan- This clan is the head clan that oversees all other clans. Jackal Clan- This clan is the retrieval clan; their job is to rescue injured members and... provide members with a means to escape the strict rules of the pride. Avian Clan- This clan specializes in aerial attacks and spying. Serval Clan- This clan specializes in undercover work. This clan is also strictly a FEMALE ONLY clan. Since there are other Hybrids in the pride, they will not be discriminated against.

Here's the family! Kaveri (DavyJnah) - Mom She loves to help others and can be rather stubborn about it. However when she is angered she can be a deadly force to be reckoned with. Flows like water. Now that she's met Gebhuza she's become a better warrior. Although she still wants to help it is mostly those in the pride and anyone who is not mission sensitive. She lives for the hunt. She uses whatever she can to get the job done. She is also very very protective of her cubs. If you say anything ill-will against them, watch out for the teeth and claws because that's probably what you're going to get an eyeful of. She will not tolerate ill-will and neither will anyone else.
Gebhuza (Mogami) - Dad He’s a stealthy and fierce warrior who lives for the pride. He has a strict code of conduct and will take any mission that is asked of him. Assassinations, cubnappings, rescue/retrieval missions, bodyguard missions and the like are all part of his life. While he prefers to do his mission as quickly and as efficiently as possible, if inflicting pain is part of the mission... well, he's pretty good at that too. The only thing that he will not do is kill or even injure cubs. They are symbols of untainted innocence and the ninja pride greatly values the new generation - Gebhuza would never physically harm felines that haven't reached adolescence and I doubt the pride would even request anything of the sort. He will be both strict and gentle ith the cubs and they will be trained from a very young age.
[x] Leih'lana (DavyJnah) A bit of a spit-fire. Leih'lana likes to go headfirst into situations as a cub and although she's light on her feet she's still not as stealthy as she likes, getting frustrated a lot. If you back talk her or any of her family, she'll make sure you regret those words.
[x] Tachi (Mogami) He’s often more serious that such a young cub has any right to be but he does have his little carefree moments. He’s very devoted to his family, always trying to make his parents proud and keep his sisters happy and safe – not that they seem to need any help, mind you. Tachi can be very stubborn but he’s a pushover when it comes to his sisters.
[x] Najwa-Shula (magnadearel) Raised up in the bosom of the pride, Najwa is happy and carefree. She is a bit on the naïve side; particularly on the function of the pride, and the evils that happen in the lands beyond. She doesn’t worry about what tomorrow will bring and would much rather be playing with her siblings, her parents, or just anyone she can find.
[x] Tajorean (JessicaLJones) Playful and curious almost to a fault, though when he's angry he lets his teeth and claws do the talking.

Now that you've seen the family here is the precious girl you will be trying your luck for.Isn't she pretty? Now here's some information you need to know about the cub. She will be staying in the pride however she can pick which clan she will go into via the skills she has and what best suits her when she gets older, by adolescence she should be thinking about the familiar she wants to coincide with the clan she will join as she will begin her preparations on what role they will be taking. However we don't want to have any crazy or psycho personalities. Her parents will love her for anything else, but for Mogami and I, we just don't want to see that sort of thing in the blood line. Last important note, she is infertile.

((i saw it said open but i don't trust it. I hope i did okay.)) Name: Yakan no Jiyu Personality: Is a cub that is silent yet deadly. She takes on both attributes of her siblings and parents. She is the type that likes to play possum sense, for some reason, she has a fear of attacks. She likes to play with jackals and she always likes to save others. Future plans/plots: She will join Jackal Clan, being a member, and will only stay in the pride if she is either needed to flee for betrayal reasons, attacks, or if its disbanded. Prompt Reply: Prompt 2: It was so dark out tonight! Jiyu couldn't see a thing sense her eyes weren't adjusted yet. She seemed to quietly slip pass her parents and was wandering about the pride, trying to find someplace to stop and figure out her situation. She groaned, having to crawl to the closest place she could get to. Getting out of her crawling position, she saw some light and smiled as she ran to it. She ran and ran until she finally made it to where she wanted....more like not wanted to go to.
She watched as she saw in surprise adolescents training for their clans but where she landed was the training ground spot for Jackal Clan and she was happy. She trying to match them but wasn't up to the task until her parents found her. She growled and kept trying until they grabbed her and went back to the den. Knowing where to go, she started to try and be the perfect girl for Jackal Clan.

Name: Malaika Personality: Cute, secretive, protective. Future plans/plots: She will join the Jackal Clan. It's in her best interest to help people, and she would feel terrible to leave a friend behind. Prompt Reply: Prompt 1:
"Tachi, Tachi." A small voice whispered. A little cub of some sort shook her brother in hopes that he'd wake up. He merely took a deep breath and turned to the opposite side of the girl. She made a pouting face and flattened her ears against her head. She wanted to play, even if it was late at night.
Her ears went from being flattened on her skull, to standing upright suddenly. Someone was comming! She needed to warn mom! The little cub manevoured her way around her siblings to get to her mom, but she soon found this was pointless. It was only dad. She relaxed and made her way over to him.
"Dad! dad!" She had forgotten to keep her voice hushed. She was just exicted to see him. It had felt like a long time since he had last been home. It was then she noticed he was bleeding. A lot. "D-Dad? Are you O.K?" She asked while she took a step back. "Your hurt dad. What's wrong?"
...
Mala just sat there for a moment. She bit her lip while thinking about what she had been just told. Mom and dad... They might die? They could get more hurt than this? The little cub didn't like that one bit! "I don't want daddy to die." She said, and put on her pouting face again. She was much to confused to react properly to this, but the little girl knew of one thing at least. Mommy and daddy might die doing their jobs, and Mala didn't want that to happen. "Don't die daddy!" She said a little too loudly. "Because if you did... I wouldn't like it!"

Name: Afya Môya Personality: Easy going and gentle, Afya will be a sweet and loving leopon who is also fiercely protective of her family. As she gets older I see her being a lot like mom, flowing like water. Going with the flow and just taking things as they come without ever getting really upset about anything. Even if bad things happen she will just say, "bad things happen to shape who you are and to make you stronger." Even though she will be a stealthy ninja, she will still be very sweet and caring about her family, and even a little head strong about helping them, though not so much with strangers unless it's a mission. She is insanely curious though and always is eager to learn new things, especially if they pertain to her pride, her family or other creatures she encounters. Only when she is asking questions does she show a huge range of emotion. Future plans/plots: She will certainly remain in the pride and will likely try to join the Avian Clan or Serval depending on how she evolved as she gets older. I can see her really enjoying some of the more stealthy missions. I would love lots of family rp and will likely try to get tons of mission rp for her because the concept of missions and the overall pride is just amazing. (I'm disappoint I didn't know about this pride sooner!) Edit Her infertility won't ever bother her. I see her becoming too much of a work-a-holic to really care about cubs as an adult. Prompt Reply: 2
It was time to practice those ninja skills, she had decided, and so Afya snuck away from the den without being noticed. A soft snicker escaped her maw as she continued to slink from shadow to shadow, exploring the pridal lands and enjoying her lack of being caught. It was always fun sneaking around, and this seemed to be the first time that her parents hadn't caught her trying to sneak away and practice her stealth. So far at least.
Within no time she found herself in a place she didn't know. The training grounds? Yes, that must have been it, she figured as she heard two lions talking about it as they walked around. She peered out from a small bush and watched in awe as she looked around the training grounds, seeing and hearing the sights and sounds of everything going on.
The excitement barely registered on the cubs face as she watched the others training, her calm nature preventing her from being overly readable with her expressions. Her ears perked forward in interest as she stared intently at two lions in particular. They were fighting. No wait, sparring. There were no claws drawn and they were holding back their biting pretty well and she could see no injuries being inflicted.
So caught up in looking from one place to another, watching every lion, leopon and leopard there as they trained, she didn't even notice a lion come up behind her and look down at her in curiosity. As he cleared his throat the small cub jumped slightly and looked back at him, ears pinned towards him. She eyed him up and down and noticed a small bird perched on his back, and opened her mouth in slight amazement at seeing the little creature.
"Do your parents know you're out here little one?" He asked looking around for any lion or leopard who she may resemble in case she was being mindful of her parents. Afya shook her head and before he could ask her where she lived she jumped in and spoke in a voice with thinly veiled excitement. "Is that a bird?" He chuckled and sighed, deciding to entertain the cub a bit before taking her back to her parents.
As he explained how he was apart of the avian clan and did aerial spying and such with his familiar. The information amazed Afya and she continued to ask questions, explaining who her parents were and then following the lion back to her mother's den as he explained what all he did for the pride. The more he told her, the more it affirmed in her mind that would be something she would like to do. Stealth in spying and aerial attacks with her familiar, if she was ever lucky enough to find one.
By the time they reached her den, she had so many more questions, but the lion who had escorted her was already calling for her mother to come claim the cub and then was off. Any scolding her mother decided to give her would be worth it. She got to learn something about what her pride did, and had so many questions for her parents now, like which clan were they in, and what did they do. She had to know it all now.
(I NPC'd a random lion, hope that's okay. I did it for the sake of the prompt. : P)

Name: Tsillah (Hebrew meaning shade or shadow) Personality: Sill is a playful cub who loves to blend in to sneak up on her other siblings. She will be stubborn like her mother and will hopefully become a fierce warrior like her father. She will love her famil dearly but when she's old enough, she will take her missions very seriously. Future plans/plots: I would like for her to develop and become a member of the snake clan, taking missions to invade other prides and be able to blend in to get information. Her infertile status probably won't bother her except possibly as an adolescent or very early in her adult years as she comes to face the fact that she will never have a litter of her own to raise and become the next generation of pride members. Once she comes to accept her infertility, she will be more concerned about being a vital member of the pride, taking whatever missions she can. Once she gets older and starts slowing down, she will adopt a few cubs to raise as her own. Prompt Reply: Prompt 2
Tsillah waited until dusk before slowly sneaking towards the entrance of the den. The lower the sun set and the more the sky above grew dark, the better she blended in outside. She slunk out of the entrance and slowly started to work her way across the lands. There was much she hadn't seen and she was anxious to get a feel for the land; the more she knew, the better she could hide when she was playing with her brothers and sisters.
As she continued to work her way through the land, hiding behind the stray rock and such to keep from being seen, she slowly managed to get off track. As she looked for her next place to hide, she heard sounds coming from near by. She looked over and seen many of the other pride members training.
She watched in awe as she watching many of the others work on their skills. She was amazed by how well many of them could move; despite her decent eyesight, it was still hard to make out some of the ones that she figured were also training to become a member of the snake clan like she wanted to become.
She found a nice sized rock to hide behind and continued to watch them move through their exercises.

Name: Noe (mist, misty rain) Personality: She is a playful and intensely curious little girl. Being stealthy comes naturally to her, she loves sneaking about and spying on others. As a cub she is carefree and a bit of a handful – she’s always looking for the next adventure, which can occasionally land her in trouble with the grown-ups. As she grows up she will mellow out and begin to take her training and future role in the pride very seriously and try her best to be useful. She is very gentle and loving with those she cares about and if anyone means to do them harm, they will suffer for it greatly. Future plans/plots: She will stay in the pride and she will join the Avian clan. At first her infertility will bother her a little, mostly because cubs are so important to the pride. She will try not to dwell on it though, and focus on her missions and helping the pride in any other way she can. Once she adopts a cub or two to raise as her own, those feelings will go away completely. Prompt Reply: 2
Noe was restless. A couple of days ago she’d gotten in trouble for disappearing for a few hours, along with a couple of her siblings and some other cubs she’d managed to talk into joining their adventure. When the adults finally found them, her parents had not been happy with her. So for the last couple of days her mother had kept her near the den so she could keep a close eye on her. It was early evening and Noe had been told she would be un-grounded tomorrow, but by now the cub was going stir crazy. She wanted to go exploring or play hide-and-seek, her favourite game.
Finally, she decided to sneak away, just for an hour or so. Her mother was busy tending to her siblings and her father had some work to do and wouldn’t be back for while yet. She waited until no one was paying attention to her and tiptoed away.
For a while she wandered around aimlessly, just happy to be away from the den. Suddenly a large bird flew right over her head, startling her. She jumped into a nearby bush and hid there until her heartbeat slowed down again.
‘What was that?’ She peeked out of the bush, searching the skies for the flying creature. She spotted it not very far away and it wasn’t flying very high either. Her ears picked up on some faint sounds which she soon recognised as speech; it seemed someone was talking to it. She decided to investigate.
Noe sneaked through the bushes until she saw a pair of lions in a clearing. One was an adolescent and the other an adult. There was also another bird perched on a tree branch. She watched them from her hiding spot, wondering what they were up to. After a few minutes it became clear to her the adolescent and the bird were working together, the other male speaking occasionally, apparently instructing them. She couldn’t tell what the younger pair was attempting to do, but she was intrigued by it. She watched in fascination for a while, until she forgot she was supposed to be hiding and gasped loudly as the bird did an impressive flying manoeuvre.
“Huh?” Both males trained their eyes on her hiding place.
‘Uh-oh’ Noe gulped as the adult approached her and barked over his shoulder to the younger male to continue his training.
“You, get out from under there.” Noe complied and put on her best charming smile.
“Huh, look at you, tiny little thing.” Her smile faltered; she was not tiny. “What are you doing here?”
“Just...just watching.” Noe mumbled. She shuffled her paws nervously for a moment until she gathered her courage and asked. “What are you doing with those birds?”
“We’re from the Avian clan.” At the cub’s questioning expression he elaborated. “We use birds in our missions, for spying, retrieving things and such.”
“Oh, I see.” Noe nodded in understanding. “So what is he doing?” She asked, motioning towards the younger male.
“Training. I’m here to help this youngster train his avian friend. But enough about that. Where are your parents? A little cub like you shouldn't be wandering around alone like that, especially when it’s dark. Come on, I'm taking you back.”
Noe sighed dramatically, but didn't try to protest. With one last longing look to the pair training, she started in the direction of her family’s den, the lion following her to make sure she got back safely.
