Finally off duty today, and the lioness had to admit, she was a little tired. It was the first time in a while, but today's training had been pretty brutal. Nothing she couldn't handle, but she had to admit that today she would be grateful for a small rest before she would be looking for spars or action. That in mind, the lioness plopped down in the sands in front of the dens, enjoying the heat along her back- something not too long ago she found to be a bit more of a difficult feat.
She had come quite far in the time she was here- Aquila couldn't be more pleased with the progress she had made. Her eyes were half-closed as she focused on thoughts like those, a moment where she lacked focus was rare, but perhaps inevitable in the long run

Sifa was actually enjoying herself at the entrance until something, big, strong, feminine, and heavy, landed right nearby her. Silently coughing up sandy dust from her lungs, she walked in front of the lioness and started to sniff her as her ears twitched. Looking at the lioness from head to claw, she realized it was a soldier and huffed quietly. A sudden smirk though came across her muzzle and sheathing one claw, she poked the lioness on the nose gently but did it ten times in a row then stopped when she unsheathed her claw. "What ya doing??" She asked in a half-loud tone. Sifa didn't know what would happen but expected something to happen.

Peace and quiet, warmth and gravity... The lioness was definitely starting to fall into a nap... She was dreaming now of battle- of running across the sands as part of a squadron, ready to face an unknown enemy at the borders. Ready for battle, the whole squadron roared.......
Until something started bothering her nose. She pawed at whatever it was half-asleep with a heavy paw, but the poking didn't stop. She fluttered her blue eyes open, only to be met by an eager-looking small white and red face right up close. Aqui had to blink a couple of times to bring the image into focus, but the little lioness' energy was more than apparent. And also more than abundant. She let out a little grown before she spoke, "I was... resting." No rest for the weary was the law of the land. What, even kids were enforcing that?
Aquila lifted her head up and stared at the little one before her- she had striking emerald eyes. "What's your name, young one?" she asked simply, clearly still waking up.

"Sifa Yangin, ma'am. Daughter of GobĂ´'mollĂ´ and Tanuri and is future medic." Sifa said calmly and more quiet like after becoming embarrassed about waking up a soldier. She shook herself and smiled. "Out of my whole family, i'm gonna be the first Medic unless one of the siblings join me..." She said, muttering the end of the sentence as her smile was drowned with a frown until something popped into her head. Standing up, she smiled. "Do you know the lion Ali Baba??" She asked for she was starting to get determined to find her Gruncle Baba.

Aqui listened to the small lioness- the smallness of cubs always surprised her when she hadn't been near one in a while. So much potential to be strong, and so much to be weak, all in this little fuzzy package. Though, in these lands, Aquila knew that none monopolized on their potential for weakness.
A medic... Not exactly a militaristic position, and not one Aquila would have chosen for herself, but certainly not a position to be scoffed at- not in the least. "Medics are essential to the pride," Aquila mused to the cub, "I hope you find it an enjoyable path then, Sifa," she concluded. Though, she was certain the cub would- her energy towards it was already quite strong, something she thought would carry on through Sifa's life.
"Hmmmm.... Ali Baba... I can't say that I have," she said, the lioness' brows furrowing in thought as her mind sifted through the names of lions she had met. She turned her gaze back to the cub, "Is he a Firekin?" Perhaps if she could place him, she could have an easier time figuring out if she knew him.

Sifa giggled lightly for this was a good moment, a good one indeed. A Firekin was or is uncle Baba? Nodding her head in yes to Aquila's question, she giggled once more. "He a hunter! But, sense your a higher rank by being a soldier, you must know Badieh sense she is a soldier also! To let you know why i am asking, Ali Baba is my Uncle Baba and Badieh is my Aunt Badieh." Sifa said to the lioness. Sense Uncle Baba is a hunter, she must know at least know Aunt Badieh through patrols, sparring, duels, or at least something.

Aquila was glad to be recognized as a member by now, not a newly-joined rogue. She supposed she had fully naturalized by now. Though, she was being recognized for this by a cub... Still, she'd been acknowledged in that way for a little while here- if nothing else, it boosted the lioness' confidence.
She mildly quirked a brow at the cub's laughter, quite certain she had not misspoken. She ignored it though. "I am not a higher rank than a hunter. We're equal, just different," she said calmly. Aqui was not much of one to judge by rank, but by competence. Though here, the two were always directly related. "I'm afraid I haven't had much interaction with hunters, I'm sorry," she said. "As for your Aunt, I could pick her out, but I can't say I've spoken to her," Aquila made a mental note- she'd go visit the lioness sometime. If nothing else, she could discuss her time with Sifa today. "Why are you looking for your uncle?" she asked with mild curiosity, assuming that was why she had brought him up. Anything she wanted to know, Badieh must know... Unless the lioness was particularly busy- something Aquila could certainly understand.

"To have fun with him! With the whole sand, hunting is really hard and i want to cheer him up! Sadly, i have heard stories from others about a BIG fight and seeing we have allies, i am starting to think he is in the other pride enjoying himself sense no family is with him...." Sifa replied, wondering if he actually is in Firekin still or not. Getting playful when she spotted Aquila's tail, she pounced towards it and started jumping back and forth at it, gently pawing it now and then.

"I see," Aquila offered simply and flatly. She was unsure her uncle would want to have fun. Though, many other lions were different from her and they enjoy play with a cub. Play? No. Play needed to be converted to training- the younger one starts to learn how to fight, the better off they are as adults. To the light lioness' mind, anyway, training could never begin too early!
She pondered, too, that the child was aware of the recent events. She supposed it made sense, whispered discussions among adults of the pride were bound to pass across younger ears.
When the cub started playing with her tail, she shot her attention back to her tail. For a moment she stayed completely still, pondering what to do. Aquila... Was quite possibly the least playful lioness on the savannah, or at least among the ranks of those equal to her. Her stillness turned into a bit of a judgmental glare while her mind cranked, she quickly reached her decision. This would not be play-not for Sifa. This would be training! The lioness' face was deeply concentrated, but without a smile as she carefully watched Sifa. Just as the little one would move to swat at Aquila's tail, she would dart it away. Speed and predictability training, a perfect exercise for a cub. Even if she would turn out to be a medic, it was important for her to understand the basics of combat- and that included understanding common reactions.
