Bukaera led the way to the entrance to Mazunguko. It was a small cave looking entrance, hardly big enough for him to get through. The entrance was on the side of a rocky mountain, next to a small forest area. “This is the place.” He said looking back at her. This was the first time he ever brought anyone back to his home. Usually he kept to the rogue lands when he was with the company of another. However, he felt that, for once he would open up just a little more. The entrance led to a tunnel heading downward. On the ground were nets with fireflies in them, lighting the tunnel up.
“Sometimes the tunnels aren't fully lit up. I remember my first time walking through the tunnels by myself that I ran into many different walls.” He said with a laugh. “It gets getting used to. I am thankful that I am allowed to go above ground whenever I want to. I can't imagine living my whole life underground. There are some members who have never even seen the surface.”
He shook his head. What a life, never seeing the sun, even for a moment. “I could show you to the underground lake if you like. It really isn't much of a lake, but more of a pond. But there are many little pools of water surrounding it. In the pride, it is probably one of the most beautiful spots.”

Shinrin was in so much awe as they approached and entered the small cave that she simply stared at everything with widened eyes and a gaping jaw, her tail sticking straight out behind her. She suspected that such the area that Bukaera had been describing to her would certainly be very beautiful, but this was...wow...just absolutely stunning and breathtakingly spectacularly gorgeous~ Was she so sure she wasn't dreaming or something?
"But- But it's so dark and, well, not "open" like the surface environment!" she finally said, finding her voice and her "proper" and normal body positions, relaxing her tail and fixing her jaw. "How could felines live their entire lives down here without seeing the open world? Without seeing of feeling the sunlight?"
But in the meantime she stuck as close to his side as she could, trusting in him that he knew where he was placing his paws and whatnot, as well as his warm and friendly presence bringing her a great comfort in this brand new environment she she was trying to now adjust to. She half listened to his words, trying her absolutely best to focus on what he had to say although her ears were so fascinated by all these strange echoes that she was not accustomed to hearing. Certainly the open savannah had a special echo of its own at nighttime when many carnivores were out hunting and eating, but this was something totally different in its own way.
"Huh? Oh, yes please~! I would love to see such a place! B-but won't that be dangerous? It is so dark down here!"

Bukaera chuckled. "I don't spend too much time down here. It is amazing to me that there are some who are born here and never leave. In time I think that most of the pride member's eyes get used to the darkness and having their only light source be the fireflies." he explained. "A lot of the brother's feel safer here then on the surface. They feel a sense of freedom in the confining place."
Home for him would always be the surface. However he did feel some safety being part of the pride. He felt that he could wander away and his son would be safe. It would be okay if his son was raised underground. He would learn all the sort of things Bukaera could never teach him.
"It is one of the darker spots, but there are hundreds of fireflies kept in nets that lite up the area. By now they should have some new fireflies. One of the jobs in the pride is to catch fireflies and make sure the pride always has plenty of them to lite up even the darkest areas." He explained. He kept close to Shinrin as the tunnel narrowed. Despite how little he spent down there, he was fairly comfortable getting around the tunnels. The path they took started going downwards. "Be careful where you step. There are a few loose rocks in the area."

Shinrin found herself starting to purr. "And I don't blame you, Mr. Bukaera! It's so strange and constricted down here; as lovely as it seems! I can't really see how some of the pride never wants to leave this place, although that might be because of my bias from growing up on the surface~" She swished her tail around a few times, still feeling overwhelmingly amazed by this new environment as well as this new information about these felines and pride members which she had never heard of or learned about ever before!
"Oh wow! Even darker than this? But it's already so dark down here in this cave~!" she exclaimed with amazement. With her feline eyes, the darkness wasn't all so terrible, but her senses did feel a bit odd because her body knew it was daytime on the surface, making her eyes feel slightly hazy. Then she began to think; if she were to join this pride, she would definitely be one of the firefly catchers! She had been doing such a hobby her whole life, besides! But she knew pride life probably wasn't a thing for her, and definitely not a pride so deep underground and away from the skies!
She made sure she kept her fur brushed up against her friend's, feeling his muscles beneath his skin as well as his comforting warmth as she heeded his advice and placed her paws carefully along the cave's floor.

“It takes time to get used to I guess.” Bukaera said with a laugh. He enjoyed it when she brushed against him. It had been so long since he had real company. There were few members that he felt he could create a bond with. That was one of the reasons he loved the surface so much. He felt that he could relate better to those on the surface then those underground.
He led her further down. His eyes were still adjusting, but he knew they were close. They just needed to go further down. “Have you ever been in a pride or a colony?” he asked curiously. There was a time he was sure he would never join another pride. However when he was given his son, he knew he would need help raising him and finding a pride seemed more and more important.
The air became cooler as they reached the small pools of water. The room was much larger then the tunnels. It was lit up by the fireflies. Bukaera grabbed one of the bags and pulled it down from the wall. “I shouldn't do this, but I think it will be worth it.” He said with a smile. Carefully he ripped open the bag that held the fireflies in. They fluttered out and flew around the room, their reflection on the water below.

"I bet it takes a bunch of time to get used to it down here, way below in the dark and in the chilly air! I never knew it could get this cold without the sunlight to warm the floors~" She purred to the blue male, still making sure to keep her body close to his and occasionally playing with his tail with her own, intertwining them and twisting them together in the darkness. It was actually very nice and pleasant to have such wonderful company again; most of the meet and greets she had were unpredictable, and even when they were good she didn't have a personal connection with the other feline nor spend more than maybe five or six hours with them before never seeing them again. She had been rather lonely since her brother had been in her company, and at this point of time, she had no idea whether he was even alive or dead.
She wasn't as used to this pure darkness as Bukaera was, but her nose could pick up other, newer, scents, such as the cold breeze and moisture that must be evaporating from the underground lake that he had told her about and that he was leading her to. "No, I haven't been to either one before. I heard that there are many out there, but the rouge lands are so vast, and I have been careful to never stray." Maybe someday she would seek out a pride or leopard colony of some sort, but right now, she just didn't feel ready or comfortable with it yet.
When they entered the large room, her eyes spread wide open and her jaw started to drop. The sight was, wow, so amazingly beautiful! It was unlike anything she had ever seen before, ever~! She was so mesmerized that she hadn't even noticed Bukaera straying from her side in order to grab a bag of fireflies. She only noticed when the extra bugs began to fly away freely, floating over the miniature lake and joining the rest of the already free floating fireflies.
"Buka..." she started to say, turning to face him with her eyes sparkling joyously and the biggest smile drawn on her face. "Wow, this is so beautiful~! It's so amazing! I never thought it could be this....wow!"

It was enjoyable to have company in the caves, especially when the company stayed close to him as he walked. It had been too long since he had real companionship. None of the brother interested him enough for him to allow them to occupy his time. That and there were quite a few non-leopards, something the irked him. He gave Shinrin a smile as she played with his tail. “It does take a while. My son adapted quicker to the darkness then I did. He also spent more time down here then I will ever be willing to. If you get too cold you can get closer to me for warmth.
“After I left my first pride, I thought I would never leave the rogue lands. After I was given my son, I found that I needed help taking care of him. With the pride, I am able to trust others to watch him as I do my pridial duties. It makes my life a lot easier. I do enjoy the time I get to spend with my son though. He makes me want to be a better leopard when I'm around him.”
Bukaera enjoyed watching the fireflies dancing around above the pools. He moved back so he was next to Shinrin. “I'm glad you like it. This is my favorite part of the pride. It is one of the things that makes it worth living here.” He wrapped his tail around hers and rested his head on her head.

Shinrin could only imagine how lonely Bukaera must feel at times all the way down here under the earth, in these deep, dank tunnels. But even these dark tunnels had their own beautiful secrets, these firefly chambers with this gorgeous underwater lake. And he even admitted to her that he had a son that lived down here as well, but how often could he even spend some time with him when he had duties and chores to take care of in and outside of the pride's lands? How lonely he must be at times; no wonder he was so willing to share his time with her! But she was very, very happy that he chose to do so, for he became a precious part to her life and heart and had become a special companion, someone she connected with so vividly and quickly with!
She smiled back at him warmly as she continued to play with his tail with her own, something she loved to do with her brother and mother when she was a young cub. She didn't really have any friends anymore to do this with, and it was very comforting to her to be enjoying once again. And the comforting warmth that radiated off of his skin and meshed with hers in this frigid underground draft was very soothing and relaxing, making her heart race in a way it never did ever before. Her eyes glittered with the reflections of the sparkling fireflies, many of them steadily lighting and dimming out as she gazed deeply into his eyes. She put her paw next to one of his, brushing the thin fur of it with her own paw's fur, her smile warm and genuine and her tail twisting around his.
"Thank you so much again for taking me here, Bukaera, and spending all of this time with me! It means so much, and to take me to such a beautiful place, too~! I would have never known or imagined that something like this could exist unless you shared it with me, and I'm so grateful for your company! I haven't had anyone here for me for a long time, and I'm so happy to have met someone as special and spectacular as yourself, Sir Bukaera," she said in awe to him, adding in that little 'sir' playfully while remembering that she would call him that before he revealed his name to her right in the beginning a few days ago. A gentle purr rumbled in her throat, feeling totally at peace in such a strange and foreign place, sitting next to the handsome, incredible male that she had come to care so greatly for, and had inwardly built an attachment with..Club Snails Sorry for the delay in response to this! Life has been way too crazy recently! ;_; Oh, and also, I know this is a random question but I was wondering if you would allow me to commission character art of this scene perhaps? I would need your permission because Bukaera is your character and such~ <3 And of course, you would be allowed to use the commissioned artwork where you pleased, too, since it's your character and our own join RP where it would be coming from and such, I would just commission it and pay for it and such! :3

Bukaera kept his eyes on Shinrin, enjoying how much she was loving the fireflies. He then started to play with her tail, like she was doing to his. “I'm grateful for yours. To imagine what the last days would be like if I hadn't met you.” He let out a sigh. “It would have been the same old hunting trip. I'll have to explain why I didn't hunt though. I probably won't get into too much trouble.” He gave her a joking smile. If he did get in trouble, he would do his best to weasel out of it.
He smiled even more when she called him sir again. “Sometimes thing just work out doesn't. Two lonely leopards come across each other and have a well deserved moment of happiness.” He wished more then anything he could just pause time and allow this moment to continue on for longer. However reality was much harsher then he would like. If they did get caught down here, he would get into some trouble. He glanced at the other entrance expecting someone to come down any moment.
“Time is such cruel to us isn't it?” He asked with a laugh. If he had met her earlier, he was sure things would have been different. He wouldn't have responsibilities and hew would have been able to run away with her. But as it stood, he had a son to take care of and a pride to do chores for.
“We should probably leave.” He said, moving his tail. “The pride is a little picky on visitors and I probably should have asked before bringing you down. There are plenty of places on the surface though that I could show you, or we could just rest.” He didn't want his time to end with Shinrin. [.Silvr-Moon.] I am totally fine with that. *so very excited* Who were you thinking of commissioning? Oh and also do you want to do another rp after we wrap this one up?

Her eyes briefly lost their happy glitter and she averted her gaze slightly away from him when she thought of him getting into trouble because of her. He had an important responsibility to feed a colony or a pride, and she was starting to feel rather guilty that she had prevented him from doing his important duty for his home and son. Her tail naturally dropped down away from its game of twisting around with her companion's when her mood turned, before returning both her gaze and tail to him when the brief little dark cloud had passed from her heart and mind. He was a very intelligent leopard, and she knew that he would find a way to help out in any other way and that he could escape getting into trouble! And he was incredibly devoted and hard working as she could now know from experience, and very kind so that he would gladly make up his time for his home duties! She smiled at him again, rubbing her cheek against his with a happy purr. She was confident that he could pull it off! He could probably pull off anything he set his mind to!
"I don't think we were both as lonely as you say we were," she said softly and gently to him, genuine with her words. "Well, you at least. I bet you have tons of friends here, and at least you have your family by your side! I don't have my family with me anymore, but at least I have the birds and the trees to talk to and such when I'm out on the plains and rouge lands. But well deserved happiness? I can easily agree to that!" She giggled lightly, smiling up at him some more. "I'm always helping others out and spreading my happiness away to them, so it's nice to receive some in return after what feels like so, so long~" She watched him as his eyes started to drift from her and their scenery before them with the glittering body of water and fireflies.
"Maybe," she mewed with a slight shoulder shrug. "Every minute of talking with you has been amazing, and we have spent a few days in a row together; which is something I haven't been able to do in a long, long time with anyone at all. And I know we could meet again one day once we need to go our separate ways again, because you have been so special to me and time will be the thing to bring us together once more again, wouldn't it?" She blushed slightly and giggled very lightly for a small moment, leaning her body up against his closely as she shared her body heat with him and relaxed some more.
"Whatever you may think is best, Bukaera, Sir~!" She finally managed to separate herself from his body, reaching down with her forward most body to stretch out her forelegs and back before standing and shaking her body to rid of any final itches or tenseness of her muscles. "I think the outside would be nice to see some sunlight again, perhaps even the sunset~, and to get a breath of fresh air again and a small snack, maybe! As beautiful as it is down here, I am starting to miss 'home' already." She gave him a playful little wink, nuzzling his cheek lightly with her forehead as she waited for him to lead her away once more.Club Snails I have no idea yet~ Either Kael or someone from the Art forums once I have enough gold to bribe an artist I will start to look around and such~! D; <3 And yes, I would be more than happy to RP them together again in another RP thread and such! <3 And after their next completed RP she will be ready for the fling! ;3

Friends? In Mazunguko. No, not yet. Since he joined he had kept his distance from the other members. He wasn't the type who could trust others easily, even if they were helping him out. Right now he was more or less using the pride and its members to keep himself protected and keep his son safe. So far it worked out best. “I don't have any friends here.” He said. “I'm not really the type of leopard who can make friends for a long term. I prefer short friendships that aren't expected to last very long.”
He listened to her and nodded. “It would be nice if, in time, we meet again. I believe I would very much lie to spend more time with you in the future.” He leaned over and put his nose on hers. “I hope time is on our side and allows it to happen.”
The sunset was something he hadn't seen in sometime. “I agree. Watching the sunset would be something I wouldn't want to miss, and I think I know the perfect spot.” He grinned, already excited to show her the spot he was thinking. “I'll lead the way out, keep close to me though.” He knew the perfect place for them to come out at. One of the exits of the underground pride led to a stream. Following the stream led to one of the tallest trees. The view from that tree was something unimaginable. When he needed to relax that was the place he went. He had never shared it with anyone. But now it felt right to share. [.Silvr-Moon.] Sweet! I can start the next rp. I think Buka has his rps ready. I'll double check though.
