My chihuahua had puppies last night...I was tucked in bed with her and the others when she started to whine xD
so yeah, I got up at 9 and started timing her contractions...I called my mom when she was getting closer...by the time my mother got her she had the bottom almost out xD
(she had them breech...so it took her till 1 am...even then she had 2 puppies)
I thought she was done...we called it a night...and when I got up at 5 am she had another puppy...this one is a runt. Delilah did everything fine with the last puppy and it is alive still....
It's pretty normal for first time mothers to kill the pups....if they make it for a week I will post pics of them.
(She will not let anyone but me near her pups...even then I am only allowed to move them slightly to her...and feed the mother food and water.) She is being a pretty darn good first time mother...(this will also be her last she is going to get fixed)

biggrin my dog zoey had 11 for her first liter.........that was annoying....but fun.....lol ^_^

Yes it does.
Although can't we be able to tell if you will get a guy or a girl or not before they are born?
So that way if we know it will be a girl again or something, we can abort if we need to and try again. sad

So that way if we know it will be a girl again or something, we can abort if we need to and try again. sad I don't believe in abortions neutral Besides I don't want to know the gender of the baby till it's born. Anyway, what we are talking about is far off ;p

Semok I didn't know you could time a dog's contractions. You can tell when they are having contractions they normally have small waves that goes on. neutral (family has been breeding dogs for most of my life)
