He was really nervous about his future... he had no clue what he wanted to be in his life. He didn't want to be a crafter... he didn't want to be a hunter... he wasn't sure if he was being indecisive or if he was afraid. He as pretty nervous about all of this honestly. And he didn't know who he could even talk to about this... he was looking for grey pelted friend Leyapay... she would no doubt be playing with the children.
You see, she was a crafter by trade and usually made toys for the cubs. Rag dolls made of fur. Wooden balls that tumbled. Beaded jewelry for the little girls and warrior adornments for the boys... she was good at it too. Sometimes he wondered if she had a hard time deciding to be a baby sitter or to be a crafter...
"Leyapay!?" He called, stepping down from the trees near the play area; where cubs toddled and played.

Tompo had been walking along with intent on heading to the tree of voices to console with Eywa and the other priestesses and priests about a fair few things on his mind. He was always had thoughts and idea's that popped up randomly in his mind... would it be considered wrong to accept a pregnant female into the pride; when she was alone? What about a male with his child? Why would it be considered wrong if it was?
He was busy tossing these idea's around in his head; when he spotted the younger male looking for Leyapay? Oh she was that lioness with the eye marking on her forehead. He looked around to see if he could spot her... but couldn't...
He stepped closer to him. "I don't think she is here..." He said with a small smile

He looked a bit disappointed at the fact the lioness wasn't in view... he sometimes felt really anxious about not knowing where everyone was at all times of the night. He wondered if that was a sign of what he should be... cause he wasn't sure he could be out hunting all the time or out there being a warrior. He sighed, before he was startled by someone. He turned to the green and white lion and blinked at him. "I... Uh... Yeah..." he said simply... looking disappointed.
"I was hoping she was nearby... but.. I guess I'll just... keep looking... or something." The sadness crept across his face like rain water and he sat down; his head hanging a little. He then glanced at the male... he knew his name... "Tompo... I haven't seen you around lately..." He said with a half smile.

Tompo smiled at the timid fellow whom he knew wasn't far from choosing what he wanted to be someday. He patted the male on the shoulder softly. "Aw don't look so disappointed my boy... are you hoping to court her or something?" He said, his bright eyes glowing and friendly.
It was like complete opposites here; two lions whose personalities were so different that perhaps it would create some sort of explosion of sorts. He smiled. "I don't blame you if you are... she is quiet a lady... that Leyapay... something about her demeanor... she is a very kind female... you would be a good suitor... I think." He rambled a bit. "

He knew of Tompo being a scatter brained blabber mouth at times and he certainly was proving himself to be exactly that. He sort of looked at the lion with his sad expression not changing. When Tompo asked if it was to court her and he felt head rise to his cheeks quickly. "I uh.. no.. no not that..." He looked nervous... he hadn't even thought about that sort of thing yet... he had barely decided what he wanted to be as an adult.
"I uh... not that I wouldn't... but Uh... I just wanted to talk to her.. cause she is my friend... and uh..." He felt stupid stammering like this. "... I just... I dunno... tompo how did you decide what you wanted to be someday? Like when you were Taranyu?" He looked to the lion for an answer. He probably looked to anxious for one

Tompo rather liked how anxious this boy was... and how nervous he became when he brought up the pretty lioness and he couldn't help but smile big and wide at the sight of him. He chuckled. "No need to get all twitchy like you poor thing.. I was just teasing. There isn't anything wrong with waiting. I haven't found a lovely lady yet either... so don't worry about it.." He said with a wide grin still.
He sat back and gave his chin a good scratching for a moment before looking at the brown male for a moment. "I just knew... that I wanted to spend my time with eywa... To devote myself to her... I never was the fighting type... like my father was.. why?".

He wasn't to impressed with Tompo's forwardness of it all... and how he talked about Leyapay... he chose to ignore that though. He shrugged... "I don't want to hunt... or to be strong.. and I am no good at interprating Eywa's words or knowing how to do things like that... it never interested me... and i was thinking of becoming something like... like Leyapay... but... I am no good with paints or clay or wood..." He said with a sigh. "I am not good at much... so I can' figure out what i want too be..."
He flexed his paws for a moment. "It isn't something I can decide and I don't have a lot of time... I heard they will start questioning us and helping us figure it out... I don't want to be the only one who doesn't know...

Tompo simply grinned at him and with a flick of his tail; stood and shook himself. "Ah yes... it is understandable to be worried about such things... I remember being so anxious. But you won't be the only one who doesn't know... plenty of fellows your age have to go through the trials and tribulations of being Taranyu... it isn't abnormal at all.. I imagine my father had some sort of discussion with himself; trying to figure out what to be..."
Though that was probably not true... considering his father had been big and burly his whole life...
"Your father is a priest like me... ya know..." He added. "Perhap's Leyapay can help you... though I haven't seen her anywhere lately..."

He sighed. "Well if you see her... can you send her my way... I would really like to talk to her... and..." He paused and smiled softly. "Thank you... I appreciate your concern and taking the time to talk to me..." He said before turning and heading off.
Tompo simply nodded his head and as soon as the brown boy was out of sight, was shaking his head...
