[1v1] Run Boy Run (Uller and Frost)

He'd been in his dorm so much he felt it was too warm there. Somehow. Still, he left the dorm room with very little persuasion to go on a run. Why? Because running felt good. He needed to stretch his legs and clear his head. So, the now white hared boil was heading to the track in a pair of sweat pants and a muscle shirt. Uller had filled out since his first year. He'd hit a growth spurt as well, as per custom of his species.

When he heard someone approaching, his ears went up and he turned his head to stare at.. Oh, it was Frost. His ears lowered and Uller arched a brow at his words. "Hello, Frost. I was.. going to run, yes. Need to clear my head a bit." He gave the other boil a ghost of a smile before shrugging. "Stretched, I take it?"

He shook his head a little at the first question, eyeing those fangs kind of cautiously. Uller had a feeling that Frost wouldn't hurt him, but it still made him feel pretty uneasy. Wolf and a deer, after all. It was in his nature to be cautious and skittish about everything. Letting his own deer tail flick this way and that, Uller managed a cocky grin on his face.

"A rematch of what we never really finished, then. No cheating, wolf."

"No. Cheating." He said a bit more sternly. Uller pulled his own pin off and smirked before he shifted into his true form. Ah, it felt so good to be natural. Stretching out his legs a bit, the stag then stamped at the ground, arching a brow at the wolfos.

"Ready?"

Uller stamped a hoof on the ground and eyed the canine like 'that's considered cheating', before he took off ahead of the other. Cheating or not, Uller would take it. Then again... A grin appeared on the Stag's face as he turned around and looked at the other. Sliding on a patch of ice, the big deer slowed down enough in hopes that the wolfos would slow down. If he did and came in close, Uller's leg would kick up in an attempt to kick the wolfos in the chest, wanting to push him back enough that Uller would get way more of a head start.

Effect: Light blow to the chest, no major damage, maybe knocked him back.

With the graze to his flank, Uller faltered a bit and let out a disgruntled noise. Those teeth were sharp! And he was still trying to run, so it kind of clipped him more than it probably should have. Whatever. A bit of blood was nothing. Sliding around to face the wolfos once he was a comfortable distance away, Uller attempted to make the wolfos run backwards a bit by charging with his antlers.

Effect: Horns maybe bruising him a little on his shoulders or something?

Uller ended up with a worse injury from attacking Frost than anything. He ended up slipping and hitting his head on the ice, sliding away from the wolfos again. The Stag staggered to his hooves, legs wobbly, vision shaking a little bit before he took off again. Or attempted too.

He wasn't about to try for another attack right now. It was a race, after all!

Frost did more than a n** at his heal. Somehow he endedu p geting a really sensitive spot and caused the deer a bit more than minor discomfort. Or maybe he just sprained his ankle. Either way, running was starting to hurt. He was honestly thinking about giving up.

So, he ended up trying to kick out with his back legs. "Yes!"
