Tiegan was depressed.
She'd left her family as a young adult to follow her heart, and where had that gotten her? The pride she joined had tore apart, and she couldn't find Hekima anywhere. Her bright, cheerful, knightly leopon was gone. Gone. Gone. GONE. Should she try to find her parents? She could see them, in her visions, same as her siblings and some strange felines she'd never met.
It was her visions she followed now. Her brother was in them, and she was sure that if she found him, he'd know what to do! Right? Probably not, but Tiegan didn't have much else to go on.
"Chooozzziiii," She called out, her dark paws sloshing through wet ground. "Tiegan's getting dirty, but she wants to find you, so come out now, okay?"

Chozi was just putting away the feathers he had collected when he heard his name. It sounded familiar, and then the voice continued. "Tiegan?" He questioned aloud, though of course she wouldn't hear him - he was too far away, his voice far too low for anyone to hear. He pulled himself away from the hiding spot of his feathers - a place that would keep them safe from the wet and the mud, and he pushed his way through the reeds and got his footing.
He made his way towards the voice of his sister, emotions mixing through him, churning with uncertainty and affection. He hadn't seen any of his siblings since he was just emerging on Adolescence.
He missed them.
"Tiegan..." He repeated, a bit louder, upon seeing his sister standing in the wetlands, just outside the pride's borders, and sped up to greet her.

"Chozi, come out! It's Tiegan! She's back for you, but she can't find you. So come out soon, yeah?" Her paws were getting soaked from all the mucky water she had to tread through, and by the time she found dry ground, she could hear him. A bright smile broke out on his face, and had the cheeton bolting for it.
She could see him, see him she could! Her smile brightened considerably. "CHOZI, CHOZI!" Without even pausing to think, she didn't bother to stop and leapt up in the air, content with falling in a glomping fashion on her brother. "She saw you in her visions, but couldn't help you get feathers and was sad, but she found you and now she's here for you!"

Chozi gave a pleased laugh upon being tackled - oh how he missed his sister! It had been such a long, long time. "Oh, dear Sister, don't be sad about that!" he smiled. "We can find feathers together later," he told her. "I'm really glad you're here." And he was, he was so pleased. His heart swelled with joy and he nudged her affectionately. Oh he so wondered how his mother was doing as well. "Have you seen any of the others lately? Mother?"

The cheeton rubbed her cheek against her brothers, just as she did when she was still an impressionable cub. When she sat up, she was straddling him, with a happy little tint in her seafoam eyes. There was something about seeing her family members in the flesh that didn't compare to her dreams!
"Really? Tiegan is happy too, very happy." She nodded, leaning in to rub her nose against his. "Mother is doing well, says Tiegan. Tiegan cannot talk to mother, but she sees her and everyone else is good too. They are all well." Sometimes she wanted to reach out to hug them like she was doing now, but that wasn't always the easiest of tasks. "How are you? Tiegan's watched you, but sometimes what she sees isn't in a row, so pieces are missing."

Chozi gave a bright laugh, smiling. His family was all safe. Safe and well, if Tiegan's words were anything to go by. It gave him such joy to know. He didn't hate his family - not at all. His kind of missed them, really, even though he left so young.
"It's been okay, Tiegan. Some days are harder than others, but I get by." He grinned up at her, content to just bask in the fact that she was here - living and breathing. He never thought he'd really see any of his family again, but if he recalled correctly, one of the others in the pride happened to be their nephew? He did look remarkably like one of their half brothers.
"How've you been? I don't get visions, so I don't know anything of where you've been or how you've been doing!"

Tiegan settled in next to her brother, snuggling in as close as she could without coming off as a leech, which in some ways she was.
They had both left home so young; he for his own reasons and she for love that she felt like she hadn't really bonded with Chozi like she should have. So naturally she wanted to make up for it all now! In this instant!
"No, no, no! You should be happy, brother." She pouted, and shifted. "Tiegan hasn't been very good. Her mate went...poof!, same as her pride. Tiegan was a Demon Hunter, you know. Very big position, same with her mate, but now everything is gone...." Despite her pep and pizazz Tiegan was lonely, scared and depressed. She prayed every night that Hekima would come back to her, but every morning she woke alone.
"...But Tiegan saw that Chozi was a papa! So that is much better to talk about."

Chozi frowned. Tiegan's life up to this point had sounded... Well, it sounded really sad. Before Chozi had found the pride, he had wandered a lot, often sleeping around and making an a** of himself all over. He was here now though, settling down and starting a family.
He wasn't sure if he had kids beyond Gaige and Mpenzi, however. They were still small, fragile, and Chozi would give his life for them. "I'm sorry," Chozi said sympathetically. Chozi didn't have a mate, not really. Tikoto came the closest, if only because he constantly returned to her. He couldn't imagine losing her though.
"Would you like to come meet the littlest one?" He gentle asked. Perhaps Mpenzi in all her silence and nibbles could distract Tiegan for a while...

Tiegan bounced a little on her paws before consuming Chozi in her hugs once again. It felt so good to be this close to family after being on her own for so long. "You shouldn't be sorry; it's not your fault that Tiegan was lonely. She's really happy now, though, cuz she's got you." She blew a raspberry into his mane and laughed. Whatever maturity she had gained in the rogue lands seemed to have been abandoned the moment she came across Chozi. "Oh yes, Tiegan would like that very much! Is she the one with the black fur?"

Chozi was glad for the hugs, giving his sister a hug in return. He hadn't seen his siblings in ages, and he was hit with a sudden wave of missing everyone. He still smiled though. "Yes, yes! I'll show you my little one," He practically dragged her into the pride, wanting to show off his little pride and joy.
He was bubbly, and happy, giggling as they walked into the pride. He knew exactly where little Mpenzi would be terrorizing Nanth.
