- ◎ Personality - - » Although he keeps a friendly, calm disposition (most of the time), Ryouta doesn't let people get close enough to him to call them 'friend'.
He'd given up on trusting people because of his father and ex-boyfriend. Despite that though, he is generally caring and wouldn't hesitate to help someone in need.
Ryouta is also very trustworthy, and thorough when it comes to work and school since he tends to take it very seriously.
He can be quite stubborn when it comes down to it, though.
That being said, when his patience wears thin, he can be quite be hostile.
◎ Biography - - » Ryouta lost his mother when he turned 15-years-old due to sickness, and ever since then, he's been on his own. His useless father, who was previously a successful businessman, quit his job following the death of his wife and ran off, leaving Ryouta to fend for himself. It was hard at first, but he adjusted to this life after a few months. He was also able to keep his grades up despite working parttime, and it was all thanks to his neighbor and home tutor, Takeru.
Eventually, he formed a relationship with Takeru, a college student at the time, and everything seemed to go fine until Takeru took his virginity. After that, Takeru became somewhat distant. It wasn't long before he revealed to Ryouta that he already had a girlfriend, saying, "You didn't think we were actually dating, right?"
Heart-broken, Ryouta decides to give up putting his trust in people seeing how it always turns for the worst in the end.
Despite this, though, it seems like Ryouta still keeps in contact with Takeru as he fears being completely alone. (Takeru texts and calls him everyday)
Years pass, and finally Ryouta becomes a college student. He seems to be doing quite well for himself, but, of course, this doesn't last for long. Debt collectors ambush him demanding to pay off a huge debt that his father built up by gambling, and apparently, he dumped the responsibility of paying it off onto Ryouta before disappearing once again. Of course, Ryouta is furious that his father, that he hadn't even seen in four years, dumped his debt on him, but he decided to take any job the collectors give him in order to pay it off since he doesn't want to be running from them the rest of his life like his deadbeat dad. He doesn't like being bound to anything or anyone after all.
So, after quitting school, he was hauled off to a slave market, hoping that being a slave wasn't as bad as it sounded. This is until he pays off his debt, right....?

After his mother's death, Ryouta had learned to cook since he obviously had to make his meals everyday. It wasn't a great feat to become good at it, since he used to make wagashi for a tea and confectionery shop. Even so, he's not a very fantastic cook, but he's not terrible either.
◎ Flaws - - » Ryouta is known to be quite clumsy, especially when his emotions are running high.
He tends to keep his distance from others, not getting close enough to call them friends due to trust issues.

He always wears simple chain necklace with a cherry blossom pendant hanging from it. It's usually tucked under his shirt.
Ryouta seems to constantly get calls and texts from his ex, but he doesn't tell him to stop due to not wanting to be alone.
