This raffle is for the two daughters of a recent mix-n-match litter! They are daughters of the Pridelands, and will be growing up there with their mommy. She met their daddy by chance, and he isn't around (that Saffy and I've decided yet.) She was looking for comfort, he was looking for a good time, or something of that nature. Regardless, they will be loved and cherished babies, and shouldn't have any reason to want to leave their paradise-like home...at least until they're all grown up!
This is Sparo, the cubs' mother. She lost her right hind leg in a hunting accident, but is still mobile. She can sort of...hop-shuffle along, and jog if she has to (it's terribly strenuous and uncomfortable though!) but spends most of her time near the heart of the pride. She and the cubs will be well cared for, as the Pridelanders are a kind people...and she is also a seer. A gift from the gods in return for taking her leg. She uses her gifts in exchange for trinkets and extra food from others, and though she is not pleased with her handicap, she is not ashamed of it.
This is the cubs' dad, Mwovu. From what I've heard, he's into mischief, and probably won't be around much, if at all. It was just a fling, after all, and he hasn't got plans on settling down in the Pridelands or elsewhere that Sparo knows.
This is the youngest of the three sisters, owned by Saffy. She isn't involved in the contest, but of course will be growing up with the contested girls! biggrin
