So I know that skinwalkers cannot have familiars, and that if a soquili has a familiar and becomes a cursed skinwalker, they lose the bond with their familiar. But what happens with the familiar after? Would we be allowed to bond them to another soquili?

They get killed off, or so it says. biggrin
Or it escapes… depends on the plot… many aren't lucky enough.

I've always heard they kill the familiar...and some times that's the pelt they wear.
If the plot was good enough, I think you could do an rp with the familiar being persued and escaping. But I'm not sure about bonding it to a new soq.

Usually the familiaris eaten and often becomes the pelt of the new walker. You could have them escape but the torment of having such a close bond so utterly destroyed would make it impossible to reforge a bond with another soquili. It would be like your soulmate had died.

Ok! That makes sense, thank you! biggrin Her familiar is a mouse, so she wouldn't be able to use it for her pelt, but I have some plot ideas now. ^^
