- Chandran had finally come to the realization that he probably was never going to marry the ever elusive Niyati. His pink, glittery goddess... well she was no where to be found. She was at least three steps ahead of him because even when he'd ran into a lion or lioness who'd seen her they had no idea where she'd went. He'd gone even longer than any normal lion would with delusions that he'd be able to find the mother of his cubs and woo her into actually staying. Actually being a family. He'd denied the very idea that Niyati didn't actually want anything to do with him because he didn't want the feelings of heart ache and depression to wash over him... especially with his little ones always around.
They were bigger now... big enough where he felt comfortable leaving them on their own and... and well he'd gone off that morning so he could mope by himself. No point in making them worry, right? The starry maned lion's head hung low was he moved through the tall grasses of the savannah, trying to figure out what to do next.
"Probably go back home..." He spoke softly to himself, though he had no way of knowing that going back home would be a pretty big shock and disappointment too.
