Maziwa was quite proud. The small group she had formed to travel with had grown so large in the last months, and it was continuing to grow. There was already new life and they were just establishing themselves in these lands.
It was a beautiful place. The wind hushed through the trees, swirling around them in a feeling of home. She recognized many of the faces from her old pack, but there were many new faces of those she had not seen before.
There were united families that were long lost to each other, like her little Damu's sister. She stood carefully on an outlook, watching the pack live. Her heart swelled with fondness and she felt truly alive for the first time in a long time.

Muzik was sitting amongst a small gathering of his fellow pack members, listening to their banter. Not much of the talking type he would just casually nod and smile when conversation was directed at him. He noticed Maziwa out of the corner of his eye, turning he looked towards her and nodded and smiled gently towards her, acknowledging her watchful presence. The feeling of being watched over was highly pleasant. Slowly he rose and at his slow and leisurely pace, marched his way over to her, to offer his company.

Maziwa have a small bow of her head, acknowledging the male that came her way. "Hello," she offered. Despite her love of the pack, she was not good at intermingling with everyone yet. They were a fantastic bunch, however.
"May I ask how you're doing today?"

Muzik nodded with a smile and replied with a simple "Good," Clearly not much of a talker he marched up along side her and looked out. So many of his kind we're gathered here, Big and small, young and old. He liked this place, it was a place he could live happily and start his own family.
He looked back towards Maziwa with his goofy smile and said "Great day, we're having."

Maziwa's head tilted a bit and she gave a fond smile. "I never expected the pack to continue to grow as it has," she admitted. It was just her family at first - just her mother and her son and a small band of klipspringers. Their home fell apart - a nice place, with nice memories, but everyone was leaving and nothing made sense anymore.
And then the leaders disappeared and no one knew what to do anymore, so they left as well.
And for some reason, a few dogs joined them on their travels, rogues and those cast out from their pack - those whose homes had fallen apart too. Maziwa was cheerful - the pack was beginning to thrive now that they had a safe spot to call home.
"It is a great day, a joyous day," Ziwa agreed. Soon, she thought, the pack would grow larger, and she looked forward to it.

Muzik laughed a little "Joyous, I like that" he looked at here and smiled. "Starting to get crowded around here, Reckon we're in for some busy times" He jested with her, tho he greatly enjoyed having so many around him.
Old and Younger, Families and Bachelors, this place was becoming quite the happening location. Muzik looked out at everyone going about there business, scampering around. But all he could truly see were a bunch of lost Dogs, finding their new home.
"You should be down there" he suggested to her. "They all look to you." he watched for her reaction; but knew that her presence among the pack would only bolster the already growing bonds.

Maziwa gave a small, breathy laugh and looked down at the pack again. Perhaps she should go down and join them. They looked to her, and she looked to them with fondness.
She could just hope she did not mess this up. She did not want to have the closeness of the group fall apart. She wanted them all to feel together - a pack of equal standing, and not a monarchy. She wanted everyone to have a say - have a voice.
And they would.
"Yes, I probably should be," she agreed, looking back to the brown dog, She gave him a smile before hopping down from her perch go down to the group below.

Muzik pulled himself to his feet, and followed Maziwa down the hill. He looked at her careful, taking note of her stride and posture for any indication of fatigue. He wanted to make sure she was in good health for busy times ahead.
"Enjoy yourself" He said to her as they headed towards the others. He was worried for his new Alpha's health, he didn't want to see her become weary from the trials ahead. He could only imagine how tough things may be on her at times.

Ziwa gave a bright smile to the rest of her pack, giving them a nod as she settled into their circle. Her heart swelled with more fondness than fatigue, a fondness that she never thought she could have fore more than her family. "Thank you," Maziwa have a small nod of her head in the direction of Muzik. She probably would not have come down if he had not prompted her.
"I hope you can find a home here," she murmured, though he might have already. She hoped that he had, but she knew that just because they were a pack did not make a place home.

Muzik settled in and plopped down on the ground. He looked around happily, before finally laying down.Home, what a wonderful feeling he thought. Laying there he thought of how good life has become, thought about all the greatness to come.
Slowly nodding off to sleep, the last thing passing through his vision was a gather of young and old, telling stories and laughing, with Maziwa at the heart of them all. He thought her a capable leader and decided to himself he could trust his back to her. Muzik finally could some measure of peace in this hectic world.
