This thread does not, by a long shot, contain all of my pets. You are, of course, welcome to examine my journal to see all of my lovelies and then ask me about those which interest you.
Pets will be sorted by prides for ease of navigation. Not every pride I have members of will be represented here all the time. Again, these are the pets I am looking to develop and RP. Some may be looking for mates and flings, but many others will just be looking for RP.

I love loaning out my SoA to help yours on their journey/plot/RP count! I've got several rogues who are just waiting (or dreading) to run into someone, in addition to my pride members.
I find "meet & greet" RPs to be kind of bland - so if my pet isn't part of some big plot, I ask you to bring something new to the mix! Maybe your pet is allergic to something, maybe your pet is trying to eat, maybe my pet is standing on your pet's favorite rock...etc.
I love quirky characters! Pets that have impediments, pets that have mental issues, pets that just delight in making everyone else miserable! Some of my quirky pets include a mute leopard, a nearly blind & nocturnal hyena and a lioness who's just generally pissed off.

Name: Lengidökk Domain: The Winter Solstice Family: Four children. About: There is always a silver lining in the darkness, that is what Lengidökk's view is. And, conversely, when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. The Winter Solstice is about the rebirth of the sun after the longest night of the year, and the hope it brings to the world. On the other hand, it is one of the balance days, even if it is the darkest of the lot. Lengidökk himself likes to balance his time in the mortal world and the gods' haven, and isn't ashamed of revealing himself. Indeed, he knows full well that he's wearing a crown of mistletoe and enjoys using that as an excuse to get close to an attractive female. Name: Verloren Rank: Hunter Mate: Susi'mimiteh Family: He has seven brothers and sisters, grandparents and more family than he can quickly count in the pride. About: He remembers the swamps - vaguely - but Verloren's home will always be the mountain. He's proud to have returned, and before the rest of his siblings, and with a gorgeous lioness for a mate, especially considering that his sense of direction is...not. Sadly, he was severely disappointed to learn his mother had left while he was gone. He still has his grandparents, but feels it was pretty unfair of his mom to up and leave with his mysterious dad before he was able to return. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Kauke Rank: Pilgrim Family: Siblings, parents, grandparents, cousins, he's got all of those in the Jini-msemi and the Pridelands. About: A little young, a little klutzy, but overall pretty eager. Now he's out in the world for the first time and it is so much bigger and better than he ever could have imagined - and he did try! - while on the mountain. He intends to go home, eventually, but right now he's too busy having fun seeing everything and anything the world has to offer. Name: Mittere Disease: Diseased Rank: Master Warrior Mate: Tarafa (deceased) Family: She has helped raise four children (Jani, Amani, Nyesha [deceased], Kestven [adopted]), three grandchildren (Ua, Kua [deceased], Maji) and has one brother not in the pride (Facio). She's also been loosely connected with Tarafa's other eight children (Skull'Ixtli, Shadee, Sethunya, Itikio, Sauda, Tahili Nafsi, Taratibu) and now has six children of her own to raise in her footsteps (Vidette, Sedare, Jahangir, Mitternacht, Arantza, Aella). About: Mittere is a prickly lioness who has been fighting most of her life. She never gives up and hates to surrender, even to the inevitable. She did not come to the K'A by choice, rather she was found gravely injured and brought to the pride for medical attention. Her weakened state allowed the disease to take hold and keeps her in the pride for the rest of her life. She doesn't let that stop her however, and has since recovered to take charge of the pride's fighters, to make them better able to defend their lands against threats...such as the Nergui. Her loyalty is to Queen Nawiri, but it was Tarafa who captured her love. Arguments could be made to say that she truly does love the children Tarafa forced upon her, but no one in their right mind would try to make her say it aloud. And, of course, no one in their right mind would mention Tarafa to her, since it's obvious Mittere is still grieving for her lost love. Name: Jani Disease: Carrier Rank: Huntress Family: She had two siblings, one is still alive. She also had three nephews, two of whom still live, a boatload of half-siblings, and an adopted sibling. She still has her Mother Mittere as well. About: Jani has always been one to sneak around the rules, bending them and trying to hide whenever she broke one. She doesn't mind being limited to the pride lands so long as she can go anywhere within them. She was worried about her Mother for a time, given how her sister and Mom died in childbirth, but is relieved that Mittere is stronger than that...not that she'd admit it out loud to anyone. Name: Lutum Disease: Carrier Rank: Duke Mate: Taanisi (Talencia) Family: He and his sister (Eione) were adopted by Queen Nawiri'chiwa. He also has four children - Vumbi, Lukier, Wehali, and Na'al. About: Lutum's memory of his father has faded over time, but he remembers the endless walking that only ended in the Kitwana...and where Aestivus up and left him and his sister. He's had trouble coming to grips with this, and has made life difficult for Nawiri and Eione in the past. However when he found Taanisi, wounded and dehyrdated, his life changed for the better and he is completely devoted to her and their children. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Nagua Seer Disease: Immune Rank: Scout Family: He last saw his five siblings and mother when he left on his name quest from the Jini-msemi. Now he has four cubs of his own and a mate. Mate: Ebha (Ecavi) About: All through his name quest, Nagua met Seers and people who believed that because his name meant "diseased", he should end up in a pride that was just full of plague! Nagua himself disagreed with this assessment, but found himself in the Kitwana'antara anyway. In the end, he finally decided to stay not just because the world seemed to be telling him to, but also because in this pride, so different and separate from all he's ever known, he'll be able to find out who he truly is. He's very excited to be a father, especially because now he and Ebha are officially mates raising them. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Maji Disease: Carrier Rank: Guard Family: He had two brothers (one still lives), another adopted brother, twelve half-siblings, an aunt, an uncle and a grandmother. About: Maji's always been jealous of his older adopted brother Kestven, but since his grandmother's started taking the time to teach him one on one, his jealousy has faded a bit. Especially since she told him that he doesn't have to be a Warrior like her if he doesn't want to! He's also still missing his brother Kua, who died so young. Plots: Pride RP, family RP, maybe a mate
Name: Sedare Disease: Carrier Rank: Warrior Family: Five full-blooded siblings, nine living not-actual-blooded-siblings, two not-actual-blooded nephews, and one mother About: Sedare's a spunky lioness who idolizes her mother and throws herself wholeheartedly into the Warrior's training Mittere demands of all her children. Maybe a bit overeager at times, Sedare wants to be just like her mother when she grows up. This led to her breaking a leg as a cub. The injury has healed, but she's been warned not to do that again, lest she permanently weaken the bone. Who cares about that though, when the whole fiasco meant she got to be personally tutored by her mother in ways to make up for the handicap? Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Kahlama Disease: Carrier Rank: Kitling Family: Three siblings, two parents...and that's it! Or at least, as far as she knows. She does know that her parents had parents at some point, but they don't live anywhere around here. About: If it's obvious who in the pride is related to Sliabh or Mittere, it's also obvious who belongs to Kahlama's family - no one else has such intensely bright fur, no matter the color. It doesn't really penetrate that she might be curious about her parents' pasts, as neither of them were born in the pride, as she tends to take things as they are without thinking too much about the past or future. Name: Ruber Rank: Soldier Family: He has siblings, but he left them and his parents behind in his pursuit of power. Now he has seven children (Eshne, Feuer, Tifu, Geni, Kenina, Erle, Borvo). About: Ruber's always been a bit of a bully, and his easy entry into the Firekin convinced him of it. Since then he's had his head deflated a bit, but has joined Chaka in order to improve his fighting skill. He also managed to talk a Firekin lioness into sleeping with him after she beat him up...resulting in a large litter of cubs. Ruber couldn't be happier with his resulting fatherhood, even if two of the kids are Huria born. He's sad that they had to leave, but he knows that they'll do well out in the wide world. Name: Huozin Rank: Hunter Family: He has every kind of family under the sun. Like many Firekin, he probably shouldn't mate with anyone born into the pride. About: Huozin is a causal, laidback guy. Oh sure, he knows how to fight as well as hunt - it's a necessity in all Firekin - but that doesn't mean he goes out of his way to do so. Rather, he approaches duels calmly and analytically. So he will hit his opponent hard and even cruelly, if that's what he thinks he needs to do. On the other paw, he doesn't mind losing the way some pride members do. Plots: Pride RP, maybe a fling plot
Name: Geni Rank: Water-Seeker Family: Aside from six siblings and parents, Geni is related to a decent chunk of the pride. About: Geni can't wait to grow up and do the things that big Firekin do. She's adventurous and curious about the distant lands her father comes from. Unfortunately, she's been prone to anger and sorrow lately, as she desperately misses Erle, her Huria marking-twin. They were practically inseperable and while Erle put on a brave face and made Geni promise to be good, the red lioness would rather sulk and hide from the rest of the pride. So far that hasn't worked out too well, as she is sour with missing her sister. That's why she wanted to be a Water-Seeker, so that she could have a good reason to stray farther from the pride and hopefully see Erle again. Plots: Pride RP, family RP

Mwezi'Johari
Name: Uchanjaa Class: High Rank: Guard, formerly Royal Nanny to Selene Mate: Kibetinyota (Ameh) Family: In addition to his five children (Halili, Kayode, Eliir, Janus, Ajali), he has a sister (Nkosazana). About: Uchanjaa was born into the middle class of the Mwezi, but that was in days long past when the pride lived in a different location. He, his sister and his eventual mate were part of a group that was separated from the main pride in the confusion of the relocation and only managed to rejoin the rest a few years ago. Because Kibi was trained as a priestess, their marriage saw Uchanjaa forcefully moved to the high class, where he was distinctly uncomfortable. He retained his rank and duties as a Guard in order to make himself feel useful, instead of retiring to a Lord's rank as he was entitled to. Even worse, he turned out to be the only acceptable Guard to protect the young Heiress, Selene. Luckily, he and Kibi didn't have children of their own until about the time the young Princess became an adult. It never mattered much to him that their litter was born in the low class, because Uchanjaa loves his kids all the same. Now he's suffered two major blows - the death of the lioness he would have given his life to protect and the pain of having his own daughter stand up for Shangyue in front of the entire pride. True it's her mate who's the Royal Guard, but that doesn't help much. Now even his grandchildren are upset with him, probably because he's allowed his distaste for his daughter's stance to keep him from even talking to them. Name: Tseva Reygehl Class: Upper Middle Rank: Huntress Mate: Avahk Family: She's got a lot of it - a bunch of siblings and eight children of her own (Mot, Paki, Pas, Gaven, Kahah, Anan, Lior, Ausi) most of whom are all still out on their Pilgrimages. Her newest litter is half the size of the first and is being raised with Dad as well as Mom. Hooray! About: The hardest thing about her name quest was, naturally, the name itself. Tseva ranged for quite a while, learning how to survive on her own and alternating between a scaredy-cat and an overly defensive young lady. It wasn't until she met Avahk in the Mwezi that she really began to realize how she had to grow and change into an adult. He was sweet, but she understood that he didn't want to leave his pride, even if it was for her. She returned home triumphantly and made her mother a grandmother...and then there was the fire. She somewhat regretted her decision to return home, but remained for the sake of her children until they were old enough to leave on their name quests. After that, Avahk finally came to visit and she left with him. She still doesn't understand the Mwezi emphasis on class, or believe in the Great Lion, and she really doesn't want to have to worry about the polticis, but she's happy to live with her mate at last. Luckily, she has her new litter to focus on, so hopefully everyone will let her alone when it comes to politics. Recently she discovered that her eldest son, Mot, is also living in the Mwezi. Name: Lailah K'chol Class: High Rank: Shaman Mate: Yavin Family: Lailah is the eldest of her litter and in addition to having an whole 'nother litter of younger siblings, is related to at least a quarter of the pride. She and Yavin recently had their first litter. About: All her life, Lailah has been training as the Shaman's Apprentice, learning everything Stellaluna could teach her. She's had to be very conscious of the political currents in the pride as a result, and has always wondered who her mysterious father was. She wasn't sure what she thought of Shangyue as King and the consequences thereof, but at least she had her beloved Yavin to stand beside her in the chaos that has come to the pride. Lailah does have to admit that many of the changes that the new King has made are good ones...and she was touched that he discussed some of them with her before implementing them. Little did she realize that was her only real warning before Shangyue arbitrarily demoted Stellaluna and raised Lailah to the rank of Shaman. At the moment, she's focusing on raising her children and assembling her Apprentices. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Halili Class: Low Rank: Slave Mate: Orion (Ecavi) Family: She has eight children from two litters (Nyeusi, Aluu, Spiralia, Kupatwa, Tatamisa, Kumbha, Iki'renkli, Zahiya), as well as her parents still living in the pride and her aunt's kids as well. About: Despite being born without the Great Lion's favor, Halili has always looked on the bright side of life, wearing a big smile and bringing a chatty joy to whatever duties she's been set. She even found a wonderful lion to be her mate - Orion, who helped her learn how to be a better hunter. She's become a little less smiley as she's had to discipline her children who were fortunate enough to be born into the lower middle class. However now that Shangyue's plans have upset the balance of the pride and brought the dark secrets of how many slaves truly feel into the open, Halili's mask has slipped, revealing her own disdain for The Way Things Are. Even so, she turned down the opportunity to be a Royal Guard and was dismayed to find her mate had been coerced into accepting that position. Still, she does support Shangyue and the increased status of her own class. Plots: Pride RP, mate RP
Name: Avahk Class: Upper Middle Rank: Hunter Mate: Tseva Reygehl Family: Three siblings, numerous cousins and is generally related to at least a quarter of the pride. Has children who were born and brought up in the Jini-msemi, but now has a new litter that he will be helping his mate raise. About: He doesn't remember much about his mother, but he does remember that he and his sisters were brought to the Mwezi by her, and that's why he was in a different class from them. He does, however, remember when his father was abruptly kicked out of the pride. More importantly, Avahk's had his father's poor behavior reflect on him - in disdainful looks and cruel remarks from some members of the pride. He's tried to distance himself from Yareha's legacy, but it's hard because he does still love his father. After Shangyue took over, Avahk finally got his act together to go visit Tseva as he'd promised. Even more exciting, she was perfectly happy to come back with him and live in the Mwezi'Johari as mates. Now they have the perfect life, living together and raising their current litter together as partners. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Kizev Class: Upper Middle Rank: Hunter Family: His twin, Wazitandama, their father Kivuli'mwezi, and of course, they're related to at least a quarter of the pride. About: The only reason Kizev knows he and 'Dama weren't born in the Mwezi is because their father told them so. And because their mother isn't a member, obviously. They have no idea that Kivuli is actually their grandfather and Yareha is their father. Plots: Pride RP, family RP, potential mate plot with Arusha (Puhterodactyl)
Name: Tyfu Class: Middle Rank: Guard Family: Tyfu has four children. Their father is Shangyue, but officially only the parents know that. About: She was specifically recruited by Prince Shangyue to join the Mwezi'Johari, promised security in her life in exchange for her support and unspecified service. This black lioness is not at all afraid to get her paws dirty, and rather likes being a Guard. After all, who is going to protest to a Guard about how prisoners are treated? She believes in Shangyue more than anything else and would happily do whatever necessary to prove her loyalty to him. Happily, he consented to father her children not too long ago, on the condition that they would not be acknowledged by him. Not that Tyfu cared about a little thing like the right to rule - she just wanted to have his children, she'd rather hers not have anything to do with the line of succession. The cubs are being raised to be loyal, strong, and brutal - just like their mother. Plots: Pride RP, family RP
Name: Nyeusi Class: Middle Rank: Huntress Family: Two sisters, numerous cousins and other kin throughout the pride. About: Nyeusi might give herself some airs now and then, especially since she discovered that she and her siblings actually rank a couple classes higher than their parents. Of course, her mother doesn't see why that should prevent her from disciplining Nyeusi like a good parent should - rather unfortunate in the young lioness' view. She has since moved out of her parents' den. Though that may also have something to do with the fact that it seems she may not know her mother at all, in light of some of the recent events in the Mwezi...events that caused one of her sisters to up and leave entirely. She iwas trying desperately to remain upbeat, but it was hard with everything that happened. One day everything snapped, in more ways than one, and Nyeusi declared that the Great Lion had turned His back on Shangyue and the pride by extension. She now goes up to anyone and everyone she sees, forcefully explaining to them about this belief, and also pointing out the simple solution to return the pride to the care of the Great Lion. There's just one obstacle in the way... Most of the pride thinks she's insane, which is probably why she's still alive. Plots: Pride RP, family RP, crazy prophetess RP
Name: Atz'mayiy Class: Middle Rank: Guard Family: She has siblings and parents in the pride, as well as cousins. About: Atz'mayiy is a troublemaker through and through. She always pushes the boundaries of everything and everyone. She even convinces her siblings to go along with her! But though she may try to keep her parents from discovering what she's been up to, she'll still own up to it if they already know. She's settled down since growing up, but with the pride still fairly quiet since Shangyue became King, Atz believes that everyone needs to let loose a bit of steam and relax a bit. Name: Yksivarinen Class: Low Rank: Royal Guard About: 'Varinen (he prefers to be called, as opposed to his childhood nickname "Icky") is klutziness personified. If something can go wrong, it will when it is least advantageous for him. Still, he is eager to prove himself to Shangyue and the rest of the Royal Guards that he is loyal and worth their time. Name: Iki'renkli Class: Middle Rank: Huntress Family: She's got one brother, three sisters her age, and two bigger sisters. Oh sure, her parents and aunt and cousins say she has another big sister, but she's never seen that one, so how can she know that Spiralia really exists? About: Iki may be a cub, but even she can pick up on the fact that the world is not perfect. Mom and Dad worry and talk in quiet voices, her grandfather won't talk to her mother, and everyone in the pride seems to walk on tiptoes. Something's not right, and Iki wants to find out what! Unfortunately, when she went to confront her grandfather, her great hero, he refused to say anything, which has had the effect of turning what was hero-worship into near hatred... Name: Dwyllodrus Class: Upper Middle Rank: Hunter Family: He's got two brothers, one sister, and a mother. Unbeknownst to him, he's also a descendant of the royal family. About: Dwyllodrus is a callous youth, not afraid to cause pain or shed blood while being fairly philosophical about any injuries he himself receives. His mother enforces her authority with violence, and this boy fully plans on doing the same when he's older and bigger. Plots: Pride RP, family RP

Name: Asmar Seer Rank: Reaver Family: Born in the Ukuucha'wafalme, she left behind a bunch of siblings, a father, and half a pride of relatives. About: Asmar's mother, a former rogue and Kajira in the U'W, didn't raise her daughters to be meek and submissive Banu for whichever Pad was strong enough to rule them. In fact, she helped Asmar and another sister to escape from the pride. Unfortunately, the little preparation Jazua was able to give her children within the pride wasn't as much as Asmar needed to survive in the outside world. She did manage to stumble upon a Thrall from the exiled Stormborn, and prevailed upon Hroarr to give her a place where she could learn to defend and protect herself. She's learned a lot since then, and is now a full Reaver. She even managed to capture a Thrall of her own, but her treatment of him (based on his also being from the Ukuucha'wafalme) may have been too harsh and he ran away. After that, she returned to the main pride with Captain Hroarr. Plots: Border RP, pride RP
Name: Anwar Rank: Reaver Family: Siblings. Parents. Cousins. Lots of the pride. About: It's a good thing that the new Warlord says girls can be Reavers, because Anwar refused to settle for being a "mere" Freeborn lioness. In fact, she may not be willing to stop at Reaver, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. As soon as she hit adolescence, she managed to force her way into a raiding group and get that experience. Not that she intends to sit still now that she's got the rank. She still has a long way to go before she's done. Plots: General RP, family RP
Name: Hylinn Seer Rank: Freeborn Family: Parents, siblings...cousins? Others? Yeah. Lots. About: Hylinn wants to be a Reaver. Badly. He resents it that there are lions his age who've already achieved this status and he gets stuck in the pride. He wants to be able to get out there, use his claws on lesser creatures and generally be awesome. Plots: Pride RP, family RP

Rogues - Lions
Name: Facio Family: Mittere is his only living sister. About: Psychopath is a good word to describe Facio. Also obsessive and murderer. Mittere is the one sibling that he was never able to kill, no matter how hard he tried. And, even worse, her defeat of his greatest attempts meant absolutely nothing to her! He's been obsessed with finding her, tracking her down and taking her life. He's followed her from one war to another, but after that last one, she utterly vanished. Facio now roams the land, trying to find her so that he can finally take her life. Most, however, wouldn't peg him as a serial killer. He's a perfectly friendly, open guy, who is a knowledgeable traveler and happy to help those he comes across. He knows there's no better place to hide than in plain sight and, to tell the truth, he has no reason whatsoever to kill the random passerby. Plots: General RP - currently in the Pridelands gathering information after learning how much of the pride comes from other regions, eventual fling plot followed by raising Mittere-seeking child(ren)
Name: Mjusi About: Not the nicest lioness out there, but not the cruelest by a large margin. Mjusi is much more about how things will benefit her, personally, in the immediate future. The long-term results are for other people to worry about. Plots: General RP, fling with Bruten (pinchmonster)
Name: Jarkha Family: He's got sibs, parents, the usual stuff. About: Jarkha's always been a sturdy boy and while he may not see fighting as the answer to all problems, he's pretty good at it. At least, in comparison to some of his siblings. Plots: General RP, family RP
Name: Erle Family: Erle has six siblings, two parents, and far too many cousins in the Motoujamii-Simo. So it's probably a good thing she doesn't live there anymore. About: Not a stupid girl, Erle picked up on the fact that lions with her coloring aren't exactly welcome in the Firekin fairly early on. However, her father loves her and her huria sister unconditionally and this yellow lioness knows enough to appreciate that love for what it is. Between him and...someone else responsible for teaching her what she needs to know, Erle looks forward to her coming exile from her birth pride and the opportunity to prove herself and her loyalty to them. She misses her marking-twin horribly, but not so much that she's not going to explore the world! Plots: General RP, border RP with Firekin
Name: Aibu About: Aibu has never truly known happiness. Her birth pride hated and feared her and only her mother's love kept them from killing her as a newborn cub. She was rejected and scorned by all until she was forcefully banished as an adolescent.
She was happier on her own, but the anger and hatred of her early years has never left her and, worse, it has left her with a powerful desire for revenge. The more she dwelt on the subject, the less it mattered whether it was her family's pride she took revenge on, or simply any random pride that encouraged gender-restricted roles.
She was involved in the cubnappings and other aspects of the downfall of the Ukuucha'wafalme as a way to exact her revenge on the world for how it had treated her. However, as things dragged on, she became disillusioned. Taking her anger out on these lions who had nothing to do with her birth pride would never satisfy her, not completely. After things fell apart, she began wandering on her own again, but she still feels a great deal of anger for what happened to her. Name: Mizani Female About: Just because a snake doesn't mean she has to hiss every ess she says! And it doesn't make her stupid or blind either, just because she's low to the ground! Anybody who thinks otherwise is going to feel her coils wrapping around some sensitive part of their anatomy, and her (nonvenemous) fangs sinking into their flesh in retaliation. And if you're a snake who's decided to perpetuate stereotypes, oho, she's going to unleash her most feared weapon of all upon you - her savage rhetoric. About: Lanista grew up near the Mwezi'Johari and though she hasn't yet done any work for them the way her father did, she isn't opposed to the idea. As a vulture, she scavenges corpses left behind, and prefers the ones that are at least halfway-rotted to the ones that are fresh. She's friendly, though she doesn't care to be talked down to.
