If you're getting this PM it's because you own an offspring of Amaterasu and/or a mate to any of her offspring. biggrin Hopefully I didn't miss anyone; I know her family got mixed in with Balrog's line but they aren't soquili Amaterasu knows about ICly, HOWEVER they're totally welcome. I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in being involved in the Kalona meta event? My goal with Amaterasu is to have her start pursuing evil and eradicating it and building a herd, like her father Shiranui had in her old homeland. With her father now joining her he is helping to give her the little push she needs to start doing this. The herd would mainly consist of only family members at this time, so with the impending Kalona invasion this seemed like a good opportunity to get this started.

So basically what I would love to see is Amaterasu, Shiranui and Ukiyo-e gathering the family back together, recruiting them to officially join the herd and discussing what should be done about this Kalona invasion. If you so choose to have your characters join the herd -- and they will not be estranged or unwelcome if they decline, and will have a standing open invitation if they change their mind -- there could be lots of fun opportunities for other RP to stem out from this, like scouting for information and spying on Kalonas, interrogating them, discussing strategies and going over information with fellow family/herdmates, fights with Kalonas, etc!

And, hey, they can meet grandpa/great-grandpa/etc Shiranui while they're at it!

Just to note, no evil soquili will be invited or welcome within the herd, and mating with one is grounds to be kicked out. There's no gray area on this. They can look evil, but can't actually BE evil. During this event, no Kalona will be welcome. After, Kalona will be heavily scrutinized and it will likely take a while before they are allowed to join.

I am also working on writing out Shiranui/Amaterasu's culture, so expect a PM about that in the future too~ It will involve a history of their beliefs, information about Celestial Envoys (aka familiars) and their roles, "magic" that they use to cleanse land tainted by evil, etc. There will be some caveats to this, of course -- Amaterasu/Anju kids would have no knowledge of the culture. Amaterasu/Rushil kids can choose to follow or not to follow the culture. If joining the herd, though, it would be expected to learn the culture and follow it. Even Amaterasu needs a refresher, as she'd lost her way for a long time and hasn't done so well following it herself. smile

At some point I will compile all this information into a thread so more discussion can be had with it, but unlikely before the Kalona meta event is done. In the mean time feel free to PM me any questions!

SO, thoughts/questions/concerns/excitement/etc?? If any of you are up for this I'm happy to offer Amaterasu, Shiranui or Ukiyo-e to recruit your ponies in and explain things to them. And if they join, Amaterasu, Shiranui, Ukiyo-e, Aizuri-e, and Tarashikomi are open for fun meta event RP!
