It had been a while since Keiko discovered the Sail Fossil in her purse, a happy accident from her visit to the Pewter City Museum. She felt guilty about accidentally stealing it, though, and didn't revive it right away. She only found it again recently, and decided it was time that Amaura got to come back to life.
Popping the five Snag Coins into the machine, she placed the fossil in the designated area, waiting for the machine to work its magic. Before long, an Amaura stood before her.
"Aww," Keiko cooed, surprised at how cute it was. Grabbing her last Heal Ball from her belt, she threw it at the Amaura, and after a few minutes, had successfully caught her.

Tristen made his way in, along side his Meinfoo and Litten, and a Skull Fossil in his hands. The boy looked on, staring at the machine before him, staring at the machine. "...not...what I thought it'd be like. This looks like a vending machine at a store. It even asks for money..." he told the two. He double checks himself, grabbing a spare Great Ball and the five snag coins then put everything in its proper place.
Tristen sighed and managed to get the machine started. Every second felt like an eternity, but there was no turning back now. After some time, the machine stopped running and there before the boy laid a newfound Pokemon, a Cranidos. Tristen walked up to it as it woke and pushed itself upright. It...wasn't what he imagined it being like, but this was a Pokemon that he now was responsible with.
"Come on. Let's show you to everyone." Tristen said, with the great ball at the ready and containing the Pokemon inside.

Oddly, Cera had found herself in the lab for a bit, floating in front of a chamber that normally, she'd have little to do with. But today, she was floating in front of it with a Pokeball beside her and a Root Fossil, and a few Snag Coins to put in a nearby slot on the machine. She wasn't sure why none of the others had done anything with it yet, so she figured it wouldn't be missed if she did.
"Should be simple enough..." She said to herself as she put the coins in and watched the chamber open up with a mechanical voice asking for a fossil to be put inside. It caught her off guard and made her jump a little, but she was able to stop herself before dropping anything. "E-er, right, the fossil."
Keeping the ball ready, she moved the fossil into the chamber and watched as the door closed at once, accepting the input it was given. She knew it'd take time to work, so she dropped to the floor and waited. She didn't have anywhere to go, and felt it wouldn't take too long. After roughly ten minutes, she'd hear a tone from the machine as it opened up again, perking up and floating back up to see a green Lileep staring back at her.
"Wait, aren't these usually like, purple or something? Still, you look cute," she remarked, watching as they swayed from side to side before bouncing slightly. She'd turn around towards the ball floating near her to make sure it went into her hands, unaware of how Lileep briefly tried to tower over her with a menacing stare. And failed, because they weren't exactly any taller than Cera was.
By the time she turned around with the ball, they'd be back to their cutesy swaying, eliciting a soft giggle from the Mew before tapping the ball against them to get them inside and head out of the lab. Loathe as she was to admit it sometimes, these did make transporting other Pokemon a lot easier...
