Another roar echoed on the horizonline.
Thor lifted his head with a long, wide yawn and blinked the day's sleep from his eyes. He had suffered his first loss very recently- and all because he couldn't mind his temper. It had blinded him, made his movements wild and unruly, and his opponent had taken full advantage of it. It was a mistake that the lion was unwilling to repeat. It was one thing to lose simply because the opponent was stronger...but this was a foe he had already bested. He had taken advantage of Thor's short temper and turned it against him.
Pulling himself off the ground, Thor approached the border and shook his large, golden mane out. On the border, roaring out her challenge, was yet another lioness. Large. Dark, and firey. He smirked. Another woman then. Women and old men... gods his luck.
Roaring back his answer, the lion charged. There were no words wasted on an introduction. A powerful hammer-fall of a downward swipe would be this outsider's welcome.
