AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM 

Name: Bartholomew Blackhorn
Nicknames: Bart, Barty,or occasionally Barry. Call him Barth and you are dead meat.
Gender: Male
Age: About 16 human years

Faction: Monster
Race: Jackalope

Natural Ability: Shapeshift- Bart has two basic forms: humanoid form, and super scary were form. In humanoid form he looks, of course, human. Well, excluding the sand colored rabbit ears and antelope antlers. His were form is much more intimidating. In his were form, the only cute or charming things about Bart is his fluffy bunny ears, and tail. Even his antlers become very menacing looking. In this form, Bart is about 7'5" tall and around a ton of pure muscle (not that anyone has ever weighed him). His skin also takes on a bit of a tan tint as well. In this form he looks more like the Hulk gone wrong than dashing young Bartholomew. This form can come out of rage and/or emotion or if he simply wants to change. However, in a non rage attack he can only hold the form for about an hour an a half, in a rage it only lasts about thirty minutes. Regardless of the situation, his suit top usually gets torn up, and his pants are frequently tattered, so he tries to stay out of that form unless it is absolutely needed.
Later on in life he develops the classical 'jackalope' look. This was suppressed in all young jackalopes in order to avoid complications such as accidental shifting and form mix-ups.


Personality: Bart grew up in a rich family, but do to the families... Shadier side, he isn't used to everything being handed to him. For the same reason, he also doesn't trust people, but is good at being polite, acting gentlemanly and like he actually cares about other people's feelings at all times. He is very good at manipulating people, so the way he acts deepends on who he is around. For the most part though, he is a very serious and smooth talking guy. In general, he would be a wonderful politician. Although, since he hides his feelings and lies all the time, he needs something to take his anger, and whatever other feelings he has, out on. Some times it's a gym punching bag, other times it's the unlucky lonely nerd that won't be missed.

Life is a game of chess...
And Bart plays to win. He sees virtually everything as a game of chess, friends, enemies, even minipets! He knows that every little thing, every measly relationship, can be his upbringing, or his down fall.
Emotions are useless.
Life isn't a crystal stair.
Appearances, appearances, appearances!
I don't care if it's half full or half empty!
Due to not being passionate about much, Bart is mostly pessimistic and he is easily disheartened. For example: at the carnival, Bart kept losing and got a bit mopy, but he kept playing for the heck of it. However, failure frequently pushes him to get better rather than give up (except for luck and chance of course). He may get very flustered with himself, but he isn't likely to give up unless it is a strategic move to do so or something of that nature.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Bartholomew was born into a rich family, which is really a family of mobster monsters and as such, he thirsts for knowledge in order to be able to take over the family business. His father also gave him no choice.

Short history:Bart was born and raised as the legitimate child of a mafia boss. When Bart was young, his father, Tony Blackhorn, tried his best to keep his business a secret from Bart, and Bart a secret from his business. So, Bart lead what he thought was considered a normal life, staying mostly in the hose with his mother and helped around the house, or did whatever he wanted really. Bart's mother had taught him the the basic r's- reading, writing, and arithmetic, but it was only after Barty was rummaging around the house and began reading some of his father's papers, did he realize what the family business was. His father some how seemed to know that the cat was out of the bag and began teaching him the skills he would need to rub the family business. It was only after Barty seemed to get a grasp on such skills, that Tony sent him to the Academy to further his education.

FEAR Ability:
Mob boss' magic- Jackalopes naturally have a strong connection to earth and, in ancient times, could use strong earth-magic. Today, even with his powerful lineage, Bart can only use a small piece of that magic. However, he may be able to tap in and use it to raise a shield for either himself or a friend. The shield is simply a light layer of the earth that raises between himself and his opponent.

Physical Description: 
Tall, almost lanky, with sandy brown hair and stand up (or floppy if it works better) rabbit ears to match, along with a pair of antelope antlers. He has handsome features and serious, dark eyes. He can frequently be found wearing a formal black suit and his favorite red tie. He also has an old style pocket watch. He is a very dashing young man.
Eye Colour: Black 
Hair Colour/Style: Well groomed sandy brown (same color as his ears)
Skin Colour: White with a very slight tan. Close to ghost white, but not quite. 
Clothing Style/Colours: Bart is very fond of suits, and prefers a standard black three piece suit with a red tie. 
Extra: Being a Jackalope, Bart has sandy blonde bunny ears (Perhaps floppy in wary stages and stand-up in later stages? Or either all the way through? Since I don't have art of him I don't know what will fit best...), and black antelope antlers.

Diet: Actually, if anything, in his humanoid form, Bart prefers to eat meat, but eats both. Although, when he is in his natural form, his system can only withstand vegetables and normal rabbit food. Like wise, in his were form, he can only eat meat.
Favorite food: Carrot cake (Surprised?)
Clubs&Classes: TBA
Dorm: Actually, Bart's room is a mega-sized sophisticated mess. He has a chess board theme, the main colors being black red and white. On the right side there is a large chess board with two large, expensive-looking red butterfly chairs on opposite sides. It functions as both a game board and a normal table. There is also a very large bookshelf stuffed with books, although many are usually all over the room along with homework and other papers. On the left side of the room is a VERY large wardrobe with a large assortment of suits-mostly black or pinstriped- and ties- mostly red. Finally, the bed laies in the back of the room, it is almost never made, but has a very expensive look to it. The covers also appear to be made mostly of silk. The blankets themselves are red black and white like the rest of the room, and the bed is made of an expensive dark wood. Although they seem a bit out of place, there are also many flower pots and small herb gardens placed around the room. The plants seem to be well taken care of.
Hobbies: Bartholomew has a deep love of chess, checkers, and other strategy games. He also quite enjoys fencing and shooting (at and with almost anything). He also enjoys raising plants to eat, but don't tell anybody!
Emblem ideas: A jackalope's head, with red eyes. Antlers and red eyes. A black suit with red tie.

~Chess!: Bart loves chess, and will be happy to play chess with anyone everyone he can.

~Knowledge is power Bart could frequently be found in 'intellectual places' such as the library, where he would be plenty happy to make new connections- just don't disrupt his reading.

~Stronger, stronger, stronger! Knowledge may be power, but physical powers are still very important to Bart, especially after he failed at multiple physical tournaments during the carnival. He now feels an intense drive to be stronger both mentally and physically. Thus, he would likely be looking for a few sparring partners, as well as maybe a mentor or two in any skill he may think of as helpful.

~It's that time of year again... Ironically, even though his last name is 'blackhorn' Bart has antlers and, once a year or so, Barty sheds his antlers! Like antelopes, Jackalopes also shed their antlers. Bart finds this time without antlers to be rather embarrassing, and would prefer just stay locked up in his room while they grow back, but, since school is in session, he can't exactly do that.

Minipets

Bart has recently formed an odd love for his dust bunny Silas. Currently, Silas is his biggest soft spot, but he has come to like minipets in general and has found many logical reasons for them.



Bart likes participating in events, as the bonds forged at them may help him in the future. It is rather common for there to be minipets given away at such events and, seeing them as a prize of sorts, Bart frequently keeps them.



Bart also, of course, has his own personal preference for certain minipets. He loves anything that looks like a chess piece or is chess-themed, rabbit minipets, anything that looks strong and, of course, pets that contain his favorite colors- white, black, and red.

NIGHTMARE SOLO PROMPT:

Bart sat in a chair, his father's chair in his father's office in his father's pinstripe suit. Except, technically, it was Bart's chair, as his father had apparently retired and deemed Bart as head of the family. That would usually be fine and dandy, except for the fact that Bart was trembling, and the lifeless bodies of all the people Bart cared about- his entire family- lay in the floor around him. The nightmare was simple, but it felt like it lasted for hours, smearing Bart's biggest fear in his face: failure to lead the mob- failure to perform the one thing his entire life was preparation for. Failure. Failure. Failure.

Bart's Response to student council booths/voting

Bart sat in one of the butterfly chairs in his room. He was set back and staring at the pins on him table, clearly pondering something. His two favorite candidates for president were probably Thackery and Llyr. His two for vice president were Ignatius and Trisha. For Secretary- anyone other than Harrow. He wasn't about to vote for someone who asked him not to. That would be very bad practice, even though he wasn't really voting. Treasurer was the easiest- obviously he would pick Gabby. The other candidate- Andrew- simply seemed out to get Gabby. Finally, for Public relations was between Rojo and Merry.
He pondered over his options for each office. Weighing pros and cons of each. Even though he couldn't vote, Bart wanted to know who he would vote for if he could vote.
He sat so long in silence pondering over his options for each office that he jumped when there was a quiet knock on his door. "C-coming!" He called as he stood to answer. It seemed his decisions would have to wait until later. Regardless, he had greatly enjoyed visiting with the candidates, and was very much looking forward to hearing who won.
