Rogues
Name: Geelkoza Mate: None Artist: Cajanic Personality: From a cub, this lion has been raised soley in the rouge lands, in his recolective memory he'd never come across a single pride-goer creature that he had enjoyed the company of. It was too much snobbery and oversized, unearned bigotry. Needless to say, Koza is easily scorned, with the wrath of the sun behind his every step. There were more colorful words he had, but he has grown older, and even a little more wise, enough at least to admit he yerned for a like-minded group of lions (only), maybe even a pride if the terms were right.
With lots of time to himself, Koza had developed his own sense of spirituality, not so much a religion, he had no such knowledge of an institutionalized worship more than he knew the names of constellations he navigated by. He's a country- lion, almost stoic, very much a keen to the idea of a lion wearing his or her 'spots' of identification (not separation) of real, earned respect, and he knew exactly what his would be. There was a particular creature that haunted his dreams and the corners of his eyes amongst the shadows, a negative of a king he had defeated in a duel many years ago that earned his respect in his horrors. (His spirit name is the king's jumbled.) It's not something he talks about often, he probably won't have much to say in the first place. He's normally found with a long, dead weed hanging out of his mouth and has no desire to speak of his scars (edits to come to reflect RPs, and down for more).
Koza will fight for what's right to him, always for blood (he has plenty of siblings roaming about), and even for fun. As a younger chap, he would antagonize all sorts of animals for a rise or a good duel; but now he'll do it to teach a younger lion a lesson (for sport mostly), or with a cub just for fun with stray cubs. Name: Rani'Kob Mate: Free love, maaan Artist: Cajanic Personality: More than anything else Rani wants acceptance and recognition in her pride, what's more is that she wants to earn it. Rani's built up a tough exterior to the outside world, raising her cubs was an eye opening experience to say the least, they were her everything. There was a spell of depression after she missed out on the cub-napping heist that she had trained for so hard, but only returning to training helped her to heal. This was what lead her to come up with the band of thieves, a training circle at first to help as many as were interested to improve their skills and train newbies altogether with the objective of going on heists together as a group. Name: Macaw'Zaa Mate: To be Putri, I think Artist: Bluefire Dragon Personality: This lion was born before the goddess of peace came to the pride, so his insanity shows so far in his adoration for feathers and by extension birds. Most of the time he can be absent minded and caught daydreaming about one thing or another when left alone. However, he's very clever with his words and quick to solve problems, or find fun ways to create them which gives him a "safer bad boy" tone (especially around the ladies). The only lions that get respect are those that have either earned it to her personally or the crew. Communication isn't really her strongest suit, but she knows how to get to the point quickly. Her goal in life is to become a captain but first she must be on a crew, Captain Black Molly's to be exact. Jaaiscyn isn't exactly rebellious, he just believes he shouldn't do anything for someone that is below his own station in life and questions why he must. Once he meets his grandfather, Jaai will do anything he can to impress him. He's not evil, but strongwilled and (as he grows) stoic. 'Practical jokes' are insults to his integrity and they're meet with passion, he doesn't like looking weak in any way as a matter of pride. Name:Catharix Artist: Ameh Mate: Plotting Personality: Rix was quite high strung as a cub, he could challenge a cheetah with the amount of running he did, but it was for the sport not the love of running that fueled him. Now as an adult he's mellowed out a lot and competes in the game of life and academics more than physical pursuits (he can be quite lazy if the day is pretty enough); it presents him with the opportunity to exercise strategy and his most important muscle, his brain. He's very sharp witted and finds the best way to solve a problem is to take a walk out among the lands of his father and chase butterflies or leaves blowing in the wind if he must. Name: Amenemsou Artist: Meepfur Mate: Hal-shikasta? Personality: Amen is self reliant, persistent, and yet codependent at the same time, meaning while he can manage the world on his own, he is better off with someone to lean on. His singular favorite past time is to make others laugh, but not just anyone, he gets particular pleasure out of making those whom are the least likely to respond to him. And as he doesn't thrive off of acceptance, he has no problem persisting until he gets what he wants. His downfall could easily be his devotion, as he has problems realizing when something is a lost cause. Often times this allows the other party to forget their grudge with the world and him time to slip right past their walls. This can take time, and therefore patience (which unfortunately can be in rather short stock), but it usually pays off. Amen tends to have a problem letting go of grudges, if he's not treated well, he will not let you forget it. But if he's treated well, he will never leave your side and never forsake you. RPs: Looking for: + Pride RP! + Down for JRPs In respect to Hal-shikasta: + Rejection at first: I would imagine at first she would be immune to his charm, too bitter for her own good, but Amen would never give up. Eventually, he would manage one smile and that would cement his loyalty, giving him the reassurance that every day would be worth the strife for an occasional smile. + The first fight: All couples have disagreements every now and then, and while he would bite his tongue to please his mate even to the point of compromising his morals, there are some things even he could not stand for. All she needs to do to set him off, to discover that part of him he would never compromise and demands respect, is call him predictable and cowardice. While he would gladly sacrifice his life for her, he will not let her disrespect him in this way. Perhaps by the end of it, she will have a new found respect for him, as he proves he's more than just a handsome not-totally-goofy- jester. + Open mouth, insert paw: Fermented fruit is too sweet of a temptation at the end of a particularly long day. Sanaz was raised with a traditional upbringing, she loves those in her pride and sincerely despises those in the other 'pride' the lands are shared with. She's very good at killing, and maiming, and she gets a sick sense of pleasure out of it. But to those on the right side of the lines, she is very soft, warm, and fuzzy. Once she gets a mate, she will love with all of her being, but he must be physically and mentally strong. She desperately wants cubs, she wants her side to be the strongest. Name: Shula Bint Ismat Artist: Meepfur Mate: Open Tribe: Qyrhyeshti Personality: Named after an innocent flame, Shula is the opposite of such a silly thing. Serious in nature, she takes the strength necessary to be in such a pride to heart in an ambitious way. When there are males around she has her guard up, no matter which side of the pride they are on. To her, they are all dangerous. While she doesn't go looking for a fight, she will not back down from a challenge and will not allow another to do the same either. In fact she takes her gender as a disadvantage that she must overcompensate for. While she wishes she could be a male, she would never try to mate with another female, she doesn't even keep female friends. It bothers her that she is expected to have cubs and one or more of them may be female. She is devout, and takes orders very well. History: Raised in the pride, she takes the fact that everyone is both a warrior and a hunter very seriously. Her mother was killed first in battle, then out of grief, her father lost a battle (from what the rumors say) on purpose. This will not be her. Teaching her emotions are mostly a weakness. The bey became her father, figuratively, and his instruction brought her a sense of comfort, instilling her dedication to him. Ever since then, she strived for his approval.
