It was another nice day and Arisia was feeling adventurous. She had seen her fair share of drama, and now that she was healed after a particularly vicious attack had left her in the care of her cheetah companion, she was ready to get out and explore on her own. Not that she didn't appreciate Bro'Dee's help- of course she would have to repay him. But not right away. First, she was going to enjoy herself all on her own.

Walker was nice, but he could be a little... preachy.

So she spent her day alone and carefree, sitting by a nice collection of water from the recent rain. It was cool and fresh- just perfect. "I don't think this day could get any better," she mused to herself, looking down into the clean reflection in the small pond.

About the only thing that would make it better was someone to help out.

Tepezade was feeling GOOD today. He'd risen early, made some good time in the direction he was pretty sure (well half sure!) was the right one, and he'd snapped up a little bird for a morsel, keeping his tummy in fine shape. He hadn't seen anyone around lately to corroborate that he was rambling in the right direction, but on such a good morning, who cared? He'd get there eventually. For the first time in a long time the burning need to find his father wasn't nipping at his heels, driving him on. He was young, in his prime - why not take some time to enjoy things?

A voice caught his ears and he came wandering down towards the...leopard? He was pretty sure. His demeanor was open and friendly - nothing to arouse suspicion, and he bobbed his head in agreement as he bent to drink. Ripples from his tongue broke up her reflection, but he paused and eyed her in the water before resuming. She was pretty.

"Well I was going to say I agree, buuuut a pretty face always makes things even better. It IS a nice day though!

When the male came up, she couldn't help but feel a little tense. However, it didn't last long. She could tell from his body language that he wasn't there to hurt her. That was good- he was a handsome guy and sometimes it was a shame when the attractive animals ended up being assholes. She wondered why lions generally seemed to dislike leopards, but the feeling wasn't mutual.

She liked them quite a bit.

Arisia blushed as she heard the lion speak. So she had been over heard. For a moment, she thought he might have missed that part. But at least he had called her pretty. That made up for the embarrassment. Almost. "ah, sorry. I didn't think there was anyone around. I swear I'm not as crazy as I probably seem right now." She chuckled lightly, looking down at the ground for just a moment before her eyes found his again.

"Um. My name is Arisia! Who are you?"

Ahhh good! She hadn't been put off by his line. Sometimes things like that didn't work out for him - some females seemed to take offense to his attempts at flattery! It always left him feeling a bit bitter, but no such (un)luck this time. She hadn't run him off, and was talking back... And just a pinch cuter when being bashful. He didn't feel in the least bad about embarrassing her, since it seemed to be going well for the both of them.

And he, for one, had NO issue with leopards.

"Tepe'Zade," He offered back, chest puffing proudly. He had his father's namesake, and it was always a point of pride for him. His father had been...no, was...a great lion. And one day he'd be reunited with him. And he'd be simply too proud for words of his son! "A pleasure to meet you, Arisia! So! You come to this waterhole often?" A waggle of the brows with that...sure, THAT line was well more over-used, but he made sure to inject it with a touch of sarcasm and a healthy dash of plain amusement - overused wasn't really a BAD thing if he could make it fun. And if not...eh! It was already too nice a day to get miffed over a leopard. Even a rather lovely one.
