All information present may change at any time as it is being made/refined/completed

Google translate tells me Kaaoksen Hirviöitä means "Chaos Monsters" in Finnish

Lions, Hyenas, Wolves and any creature you can imagine are in this place! All of them firmly believe that they are Monsters based off of ancient myths. They are a vicious, odd sort of group whose fur is tossed around madly and teeth brutally sharpened. Read below to find out more detailed information about them.

Outsides know them as the Kaaoksen Hirviöitä or more popularly as Monsters. They refer to themselves as both monsters and Ghasia, which means uproar in Swahili.

General Information

Allowed:
All Species.

On Species... The monsters recognize they look like mortals who are classified into the species we know as is. The cheetah, the lion, the leopard, the wolf... But monsters don't see themselves quite like that. To them monsters have no set shape or form, a jackal could be an avian's cousin for all they know. Seeing a wild dog and lion pair up together isn't considered overly strange to the monsters because of this. They do acknowledge however that since they are in 'mortal-like' bodies that a wild dog and lion couple wouldn't be able to reproduce and it would be a pairing more out of love and comfort then of... other things.

On that topic breeding in general is regarded as private business. If two Tafuati decide to reproduce for whatever reason, then that's the way it is. No questions will be asked. It is important to note however that cubs are tricky business. Parents are generally expected to raise cubs on their own or within their family den among other relatives. Someone within the class but not direct family is not expected babysit the cubs or play with them. Yet that said; each class is rather protective of the young when it comes to dealing with outsiders. If a rogue tried to talk to a cub anyone, not just the parents, would stick around the area to make sure the little one isn't stolen or hurt by the mortal.

In short; cubs will be protected by the class they are in, but they're only expected to be raised by the parents who brought them to life.

Familiars
Are allowed, but at their own risk. The monsters treat them as any other member should they prove worthy of it. If not they are regarded as food or a potential pet in the eyes of the pride. Familiars have their own little rank which involves them living together and playing tricks on the bigger species in order to steal their own food and resources. This mini-camp lives in the forest near the Ishara section of the pride.

Appearance
So how do the monsters tell each other apart from other rogues? They are born with tough, wild fur and manes that go this way and that. They have sharp teeth that can be seen producing out from under their lips and claws poised to strike at any given moment. Only the Kukoa have groomed fur, but even then the basic appearance remains similar. Only maybe a few braids or items are thrown in the mix. All monsters- regardless of species will look like this if born and raised amongst the pride. They live a cruel and sometimes unfair life, starting with being born in a tough and relatively lawless society.

Mates/Flings
You do not need permission to mate or fling. We just ask you post a new litter to update the members list. Reminder, rouge breedings, mix and match months are only allowed for monsters. Mortal slaves are not allowed to bare rouge children, and so may not participate in any of those breedings. They may however have Monster x Mortal breedings from within the pride.

The children from these breeding's will become the class that the parents are in. If the parents are in two different classes the child decides which class they would rather be raised in. For example a Ishara and Kukoa baby could be raised either as an Ishara with dad or a Kukoa with mom. It is up to their own personal opinion on the matter.

Seers
Seers are thought to be special. They are considered Ishara Mediums = those who communicate with the spirits OR Kukoa Oracles = those who foretell prophecies. Both are important as mediums work to understand a message that a spirit is sending them, a skill regarded highly by fellow Ishara's. Oracles are said to receive visions from Hanma himself, that he wishes his monster children to see. Either way, Seers are unique in the pride and may be certed as either Oracle or Medium if they desire.

Names

What's in a name? A name can tell a lot. Mortals have typical African names whereas monsters tend to spout Greek, Roman or other ancient names. It is these differences that often tell a member whether a member is a mortal or monster in the first place! Officially however, you may have your monster be named Godzilla for all we care. It is simply their offspring who are likely to inherit ancient names.

The monsters don't consider themselves 'evil'. It is perfectly acceptable (and in fact somewhat encouraged) to have an 'evil' lion among them but it's also important to mention that as a whole the Monster's don't see themselves as being evil. They view their actions as being perfectly justified and acceptable. Stealing from mortals means a better life for themselves, cubnapping means a infertile hybrid could have their own children to love and raise. Even the aggressive Ghadhabu see themselves as guardians for the other monster classes, or vessels for Hanma's bitter hate towards mortals. Overall, they do not see themselves as being "bad".

Pride History and Founding

Nobody knows of how the pride came to be. It could have been created to form stronger bonds, it could have been formed for the sake of protection or hunting for resources...

In the end the pride only knows one thing, and that my friend- is their creation story.

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago...
Hanma was a god who walked upon the earth, and everywhere he went brought a reign of ultimate destruction with him. His brother Kila- the being who brought life to the world; became very angry with Hanma for destroying all his precious creations. But Kila wanted only peace, and as a way of giving his brother a second chance he cast a spell on Hanma which made him fall madly in love with a mortal. The duo lived happily together- unaware that their time was short. For mortals did not live nearly as long as the gods. Because they were both secluded, Kila had time to breathe new life into the world. At the top of all his new creatures Kila named the "mortals" his first children. The mortals were perfect beings who demanded no bloodshed and who knew right from wrong incredibly well. The world was at peace, and war was no more.

It was then that the mortal mentioned earlier died. Hanma did not take this very well, he felt betrayed. He felt like Kila had done this purposely to spite him and still appear as the better of the two. Upon the mortals passing Hanma unleashed his powers into the world to embody his rage as living creatures. These came to be known as Ghasia, or "monsters". These beings were tough, vicious and cruel. Their hair was wild and teeth sharp. Skin not easily penetrated and they smugly would grin at the rise of a challenge. These beings had no pity, they killed all who stood against them. Cubs, pups, mothers, desperate fathers, brothers and sisters alike, vanquished!

Now Kila was furious. He had given Hanma a second chance and Hanma repaid him by killing his creations. That simply could not do! Before anyone knew it, the mortals and monsters were fighting. A war that raged many, many generations occurred, and for a long time Hanma had the upper hand. One day though Kila's mortals played a nasty trick! By fooling Hanma into thinking they were monsters they were able to get close to him- and dive in for the kill! Kila had appeared before them and shouted "Stop!" It was to late though and Hanma then was shoved into a mountain of lava- a volcano!

Kila now knew what was to be. The mortals had done what he had tried desperately to stop, kill a deity. He could no longer bare to even look at them and as they begged for forgiveness Kila declared a new statement about what mortals were. "Imperfections who are both incompetent and foolish. They are only half as good as my brethren and time do I not have to see them perish as a species." His words stung the mortals deeply and they now felt not rage, not hate for monsters, but sadness and misery at what they had done. Kila returned to the skies and was never to return. Many say he lived his life to the fullest but eventually was killed or perhaps died to be reborn... Either way, Kila was out of the picture.

The monsters then closed in on the mortals who had set up a small camp in their lands. The monster god dead, the mortal god gone... Their was no reason for a war to continue. But since they were not entirely merciful; the monsters enslaved the mortals. They told them bitterly for many generations that they were to make up for their ancestors mistakes.

Nearing the present, the monsters continue to uphold this tradition. Although the bitter hate they once held towards the mortals is almost gone entirely, slaves are not uncommon and are seen running through the lands. The current Hadithi believes that rouges are monsters in disguise and has opened the gates of the pride to allow them to join. Just how long the peace will last? That's up to fate to decide...

Ghasia Religion

The Ghasia members believe they are monster and in turn believe that they are the offspring of Hanma and the unnamed mortal. You would be wise to not question this as they can be rather protective of their opinions. In their own minds a wild dog monster could be the brother of a lion monster very easily! As a result interspecies families are common and seeing a leopard adopt a hyena puppy is no big deal for them. This is because they believe full heartedly that they are indeed beasts of legend. Hanma created them to wage a war upon Kila and his mortals- the perfect beings. This means their appearance is not restricted to one form and as such they have adopted the idea that a wild dog or a hyena is just as any other feline, just in a different shape.

Hierarchy of Importance:
Hanma (Religious figurehead) -> Queen (leader) -> Ghasia Pride (monsters) -> Outsiders (mortals) -> Kila (the sky)

Hanma is commonly portrayed as male, however depending on which member you speak to his sometimes thought to be female. Hanma crafted the monsters from the very earth they walk and infused the empty bodies with his rage so they could move, live, eat and kill. According to the pride myth Hanma is dead, although some members say older myths claim he is simply sleeping under the volcano. Most choose to believe the latter since it means their god is not entirely gone.

Queen The Queen is the Ghasia leader. She is said to be the incarnation of the mortal Hanma married in the founding myth. The title of queen is handed down through bloodline, with the current Hadithi or queen selecting her heir.

Ghasia/Monsters Ghasia members believe they are monsters created to destroy the mortals perfect kind. Some monsters hate them with a burning passion whereas others could care less if the mortals lived or died. The argument is generally sought to make sense of whether Hanma is alive or not. Those who believe he is alive will hate mortals, as they feel Hanma is filling them with a curse of hatred towards them. Those who think Hanma is dead believe they are freed from the curse and will tolerate mortals happily. Regardless the Ghasia monsters have separated themselves into different "classes" based on appearance, personality and skills expressed commonly. These classes have come to be what the monster "types" are presently.

Mortals these would be best classified as rogues or those who belong to other prides. Monsters do not typically like the mortals since they are in conflict over land and resources with them. The myth only fuels the hate they hold for them more, but they are gradually becoming more peaceful towards them; to the point that mortals are allowed to join their lands.

Flings with Mortals Flings with mortals are not unheard of, and often occur more frequently then mentioned. The cubs/pups from these litters will typically be either A: Stolen by the monster and returned to the father/mother's class to be raised. Or B: Left in the rogue lands with the rogue parent. It is uncommon but sometimes C: the monster will bring both the rogue and offspring back with them. The rouge will become a Kaless until they learn the ways of that particular clan and are accepted as a mortal-turned-monster.

The significance of Kila...
Kila is thought to be the sky. The reason being because he "returns" to the sky in the founding myth. Thus all weather is attributed to Kila. Bad weather in particular, as where the monsters live is susceptible to storms and heavy rainfall.

Mortals or Kaless caught worshiping or even giving thanks to Kila will be punished. Severely. Even killed. The monsters very much dislike Kila and will make it evidently clear to those considered half-lings or mortal.

Afterlife Concept Not all monsters believe in the afterlife, and in fact, most don't. They instead invest their believes in the idea that souls of monsters wander around in an endless existence of being lost, alone and constantly in a state of hunger. The Tafuati believe differently saying that by wearing pelts, feathers and skulls they have a mortal guide resting upon their body; and when they die this guide can lead them to the afterlife. Other classes think of this as foolish except for maybe the Ishara. The Tafuati and Ishara are all buddy-buddy with each other after all. Overall nobody knows what awaits them in the afterlife, if monster get to go to the afterlife that is. Perhaps it is as horrible as the general population thinks, or maybe they get to pass into the realm without issue. Either way, monsters don't try to think about death so much since it doesn't seem as important as living.

Other Gods
Other gods are acknowledged, but regarded as being lesser in greatness than Hanma. Individuals have varying opinions on them, whether they are pieces of Hanma and Kila that now wander the world, or that the gods and goddess' of SoA are brothers and sisters of Hanma respectively. It is overall generally agreed that they are either "higher mortals" who are enemies to the monsters or "Hanma's servants" who are monster allies. The pride, as a whole, will not worship any particular god or goddess, but should that god or goddess help the pride in some way, they will give thanks to them occasionally.

Annual Events of the Ghasia

Hunt Games: Otherwise known as the "headhunting competition" these games occur twice a year. Basically they serve as a means to provide a surplus of food for the year. The monsters set off away from their beloved volcano and start hunting out prey. OOCly the "prey" is in the form of a sticker users have to dig around to find or play games to win. Each class is considered a huge "team" who each compete against each other to find the winner. (OOCly you may select 1 of your monsters to compete) The games end after a two week time frame, of which the "team" with the most food will win. They are awarded a trophy skull with garments inside to commemorate their victory. (OOCly those with the top scores for the winning team will receive prizes!) During the next games the skull is taken until a new winner is decided.

Current Trophy holder: Hadithi (who does not compete)
Previous Trophy holders:

Vita Games: A competition of which the male monsters fight one another fiercely in a muddy, and bloody pit. The winner of these fights is deemed strong and fierce enough to be wed to the queen- who may or may not choose to simply walk away and not marry him at all. If she chooses him he is promoted to Heyeka and lives on sky mountain protecting his mate.

Grande Night Carnival: A festival that occurs once a year. All walks of monsters travel to the foot of Sky Mountain where a huge celebration hosted by the Hadithi and a different class each year occurs. Races, wrestling and games are arranged for public entertainment but the star of the carnival is a huge parade. The Hadithi leads a grand march with all the monster class selected that year- who are beautifully adorned, on a walk through the crowd. At midnight they retire and any Kukoa who feel up to it will begin singing melodies for everybody to enjoy. A final ceremony is performed at daybreak where fruits are gathered and carved before being consumed in small amounts by everyone present. The purpose of the festival and ceremony itself is to give reverence to the night, the ocean, and the lost souls who passed on during the year.

Year Selection List:
Kukoa
Dragon
Tafuati
Kaless
Ghadhabu
Ishara
Mwenzi

It is currently the year of.... The Dragon.

Unlike the mortals (other prides), monsters come and go wherever they please. Certain areas are known for being more popular to certain monsters than others, but generally monsters can live wherever they want. So long as they follow the rules the queen provides, they are not obligated to preform any other tasks. They even can get away without doing their jobs!

Mraba: A desert environment. Near a collection of abandon temples this market serves as the great trading area for the monsters. Mortal traders also wander here to sell their goods, and are generally accepted because it is known as being the "Kaless area" where those of the Kaless class find they can make their homes in peace.
Volcano: During certain hours of the say smoke is visible rising out of the top of the mountain from a distance. Within the volcano, lava pools boil and renders it a unlivable state, occasionally the volcano will erupt however the lava will never quite reach the ground. The monsters adore the volcano- believing it to house the corpse of their great god Hanma. Near the foot of this structure, most Ghadhabu monsters reside, and refuse to leave stubbornly. They like the fire it creates, believing it to be Hanma trying to rise from his grave.
Beach: Any place in the pride near the sea is regarded as a Kukoa den. This isn't necessarily true, but caves, although dark and cold, are where they stay in huddled masses to keep warm during the night. Kukoa also have a famous waterfall where all Kukoa go to get their fur combed out and sweet-smelling scents applied.
Forest: This is where most of the Ishara and Tafuati live. Tafuati are known to be the voice of the forest where as the Ishara are thought to be the spirits of the deceased who live there. The deceased bodies are dragged here so that the Tafuati can lay them to rest.
Sky Mountain: (not pictured) This is where the Amuru Hadithi and her kin live! On top of the mountain opposing the Tafuati forest the large cliff area overlooks the entire kingdom. From here the Ghadhabu volcano can be seen and the sea is right beside it. The broken temples housing the Kaless is to the far left and within a days travel can be reached. Ghadhabu solders guard the base of the mountain preventing any unwelcomed monsters from getting near the queen. In addition on the mountain several Ghadhabu guards specifically picked to guard the queen are allowed to roam free.

::Laws::

Even the monsters have rules! They are few, but expected to be followed fully and completely. Failure to do so will result in punishment as you can see below. Most of these "laws" are more of society enforced rules. There are no official rules for the monsters, but it is known that if any of these things happen- the consequences are not so great.

::Laws::
Abuse of Slaves will not be tolerated. They are in slavery because they are paying back a debt or were captured. But abuse of slaves (especially by their owners) is seen as picking on the weak. The monsters don't encourage this anymore and so abuse will not be tolerated.
Cubnaping If your monster plans (for plot reasons) to cubnap from other prides please ensure you have permission from the leader of that pride, not just the owners! Cubnaping is allowed, but only from outside the pride. Any cubs inside the pride will be heavily protected by the class of which they decide to go into, and cubnapping of monster-children will not be tolerated.
Stealing stealing from other classes is A-Okay! Accepted everywhere. Well, not really accepted, but it is known to happen frequently (The Kukoa for example are famous for doing this). But to steal from ones own class? That another story. Some monsters are very protective of their stuff and will fend off anyone who tries to take it. Other, could care less.
--
--

: razz unishable Crimes::
Abuse of Slaves will result in the slave being relocated to a new owner to continue serving out the remainder of their debt.
Cubnapping: Your monsters will be killed if they cubnap from inside the pride. The class will gang up on them and chase them away from the family or kill the attempted cubnapper. So unless you know... You want your monster to be brutally slaughtered don't do it. There are no rules against kidnapping outside of the pride however.
Stealing The punishment for stealing depends on the class! Most monsters don't care about stealing, but those who do might attack your lion! Keep a wary lookout during these RPs, you wouldn't want to get caught!

Classes

Instead of having "rankings" the monsters classify themselves into different groups. Those groups become the title they are known as and they may pick and choose different careers they desire.

Hadithi
The leader and her children
The Hadithi is the monster ruler. She and her family live on a mountain away from the other monsters. Monsters may come and go as they please on the mountain, as it is open to the general public under the current Hadithi's rule. Once upon a time the Hadithi used to live in the center of the monster population, hidden amongst the common folk. Nobody really worshiped her or anything of the sort because that far back Hadithi simply meant lead hunter. A few generations passed though and the Hadithi of that time demanded to be acknowledged as something better than the typical monster. She had a whole cult made to surround her and eventually overthrow whatever rebel there was. From then on her and all her relatives were referred to as queen or king. They isolated themselves from typical monsters on the Sky mountain. Now, the new Hadithi is kind and sweeter than the previous one. She has opened the gates of her mountain to the public, although mortals are still a touchy subject and as such forbidden. This includes Kaless since they are considered half-mortal.

Kukoa
The mermaid folks
"Attractive monsters" Their beauty is their weapon and they lure unsuspecting mortals close, only to reveal their true nature when they are within grasp. Deadly and feared by most of the pride their charm and wit keep them alive and aid them in their often mischievous natures. All Kukoa are believed to have a curse that will lure mortals and often other monsters near them. It is then said that they will prey upon the unsuspected wandered before feasting on his flesh. In truth they just rob them. But flesh-eating is more sinister and myth worthy.

Ghadhabu
The destroyers
Fire obsessed monsters of destruction, they hate the Kaless and mortals with a burning passion. They are rumored to have plotted the destruction of mortal kind, and with their warrior nature and strategic tactics few doubt they could pull it off. They protect the queen and are rather close with her royal family as they make excellent guards or hit man. Despite this fame of brutality and fearsome outlook they are quite protective and would do anything to prevent harm from coming to any monster class. Yes, even the Kaless.

Tafuati
The wild children
Quiet, whispering folk who live in the mountains with the Ishara. They believe that by wearing pelts and adorning themselves in "mortal objects" they have a one way ticket to the afterlife when they die, unlike other monsters who are cursed to wander forever without finding it. They are very spiritual but relatively peaceful folk who keep to themselves.

Ishara
The spirits of the forest
Ghosts, wandering spirits convinced they are already deceased. Few are the living, and at that they are merely wanderers or Mediums trying to communicate with the others. They are scholars who read and write the pride's history as well as play tricks on mortal explorers who wander too near.

Kaless
The Half mortal race
Half-mortals who live in the center of the monster pride. They are looked down upon, but as soon as they find their calling it is forgotten that they were even once considered a Kaless. Many are thought to be monsters who don't know who they are yet, and so are not exactly considered the half-mortals they are generally classified as.

Mwenzi
The Familiars
Small, very small, beings who run about the underbrush. They are thought to be magical fairy creatures who can grant wishes and create curses. Monsters try to catch them all the time, as these pesky familiars love to play tricks! Their small size but generally bad hunting skills makes them an easy target for bigger creatures. By creating all these myths and lore about their magical abilities these familiars have been able to survive very long without interruption.
Jackals, Ratels, Avians, Genets, Maned Wolves, Servals and Snakes are all permitted to join! They do not need to be bonded to another member as it is permitted for them to join on their own. Any other familiars will be a case-by-case basis as they might be considered prey.

Dragon
The legends
These are extravagantly rare monsters who walk with pride and vigor in their step. Warriors who above all warriors pursue and defeat armies upon armies of mortal soldiers when anger ruffled. Be warned, they can be quite greedy whether that be for attention, gold, or even bloodshed. Mortals stand no chance against them, and even Kaless half-mortals are not considered worthy of seeing them. These monsters are well adorn and practically worshiped beasts who are heroes of the monster kind. Not all of them are this way though, it is just the idealized version of the legends surrounding them.
Their calling is defined by doing something unthinkably brave and earning the favor of the queen by doing so. They may bring the head of the current mortal king to her majesty or even all the gold he/she may find. Maybe they saved the queen from danger, or invented a medicine to cure an ongoing plague of some kind. There are lots of ways for a hero to be made!

Mtu-Tunza
The servants
Mortal-slaves who serve the monsters. They are usually in debt of some kind and enslavement is the price to pay for it. After a certain time frame they may be released from their enslavement and allowed to join the monsters as a Kaless.

Mtu-Tunza or mortal slaves, may not, I repeat not participate in rogue breeding's of any kind. They are forbidden from leaving the monster lands without 24/7 supervision of a monster with them. This makes it very difficult for them to get away with wooing a passing rouge. If it is for plot reasons you may PM me the details to have it permitted. Otherwise for mortals there is no mix and match or regular rogue breeding's allowed.

Slaves may however, participate in Monster x Mortal breeding's. There are no rules against that.

Callings (Promotions)

Callings are another way of saying promotion in the monster world. It is when they are "called" or "find" the class they belong to. Each class has a specific bonus promotion that is only available through completing five RPs in the pride. Read below to find out the details of each specific class.

Hadithi / Hekaya

Quote:
A queen is born into her role. Their is no way for a regular member to become a Hadithi unless some blood-connection between them and the current queen is found. The queen will generally select her heir before her passing or retirement, but if she does not anyone with found blood connections will be selected as her successor. If there isn't a blood connection found the new queen is selected out of the queens closest friends. Hadithi and Hekaya are the sons and daughters of the Amuru Hadithi- the current leading queen.

Bonus Promotion: Amuru Hadithi / Amuru Hekaya. They are only rewarded to the queen/king pairing who rule the pride.

Kukoa

Quote:
The calling of a Kukoa usually means refers to SoA drawn to the sea. If they present the Kukoa residing there with a fantastic treasure such as gold, a jewel or a sea shell; and able to prove themselves in a test they give (usually such a test is finding a particular type of sea shell) they are granted the rights to become a Kukoa themselves.

Bonus Promotion:
Mermaid/Merman. These leaders are in charge of distributing and judging appropriate value of different sea shells found on beaches across Africa. Things stolen by the Kukoa are all given to the mermaid leaders, who in turn will use them as prizes or currency in exchange for shells. It is a very important job for the Kukoa, as it keeps them busy and lively throughout the day without becoming bored. Details of shell types and value will be available when the pride is official.
Seer Promotion: Oracle. Seers are special to the Kukoa in that they are believed to foretell prophecies. Any harm, for whatever reason, that comes to a Oracle will result in punishment for the assailant. This may range from forced fasting to banishment to even death depending on the severity of the attack.

Ghadhabu

Quote:
The Calling of a Ghadhabu usually means a monster who challenges another to battle. Should they win, the Ghadhabu will ask them to fight one of their kind (had they not already) to prove their worth. Should they win again, they will be accepted amongst the pride.

Bonus Promotion: Ghadhabu Chimera are war leading captains who take charge of the rest of the Ghadhabu society. They tend to be well respected and few will challenge the decisions they make. The Chimera may also take it upon themselves to serve as Ambassadors, travelling to other prides in order to gain allies or recruit new Ghadhabu from the roguelands "wandering kaless"

Tafuati

Quote:
Tafuati are all about commitment to the clan itself. As such, the calling of a Tafuati involves commitment. Bringing the pelts of seven animals to the tribe will earn your monster a ticket in- required that certain circumstances are met. The pelts are looked over, judged for damage, usefulness, condition of the fur itself and if considered to be in a good state the monster is accepted in the clan. The pelts are taken to be cleansed of any dirt or dust before being handed out to other members who deserve one. The new monster just accepted are taught within a week the rituals involved to bind a mortal and monster soul together. Should they fail to learn the ritual, they will be kicked out.

Bonus Promotion: Tafuati Elders are considered wiser than the rest of the tribe. They are the leaders who work closely with the Ishara Necromancer's, they are in charge of accepting rogues amongst them and judging the condition, value and promising abilities of each pelt they are brought. Details of pelt value will be available when the pride is official.

Ishara

Quote:
The Ishara have not, two, but three different "types" of callings they rely on to judge whether an SoA is one of them or not.

The first calling of a Ishara is defined by telling a prophecy that comes true. These SoA are thought to be seers, who according to the Ishara "see" spirits of the deceased.

Another method of joining is simply showing up, if you are light pelted. Those who have white, light yellows, lights blues, light oranges, light greens or light grey coats are thought to be ghosts and will be accepted as Ishara.

Another different type of Ishara calling is presenting oneself to the elders, or Necromancers who rule the Ishara clan. If judged to be immune to pain i.e not bleed from being cut, not flinch at being insulted, or proving their worth to that particular Necromancer, then they will be allowed to join the clan. This is the less common method of joining but it isn't rare for non-light pelted members.

Bonus Promotion: Ishara necromancers control the dead. Leaders in their own way, they are political captains who ghosts will follow. To mortals, they raise the dead from their slumber as zombies, but to a monster they are powerful leaders who influence the entire Ishara tribe. They decide on tough decisions together such as to go to battle, relocate the entire class to another area, etc.
Seer Promotion: Medium. Seers in Ishara are thought to be those who can communicate with ghosts. Harm that comes to Mediums isn't tolerated as they are important for sustaining a lifeline to understanding the spiritworld. Attackers may be banished, physically maimed or killed depending on the severity of the attack itself and whether or not it is a repeated offence.

Kaless

Quote:
The Kaless do not have a calling. Joining rogues or mortals-turned-monster will receive the title of Kaless automatically. They are thought to be half mortals until such a time arrives when they can prove they are not.

Bonus Promotion: Kaless have no "bonus promotion" per say, but they do (eventually) find their calling in another class.

Mwenzi

Quote:
The calling of a Mwenzi involves a familiar bouncing through the forest and finding the area Mwenzi's call home. Please keep in mind the familiars in question are to be carnivores or avian species only. The list of allowed familiars is in the class post under the topic "Mwenzi"

Bonus Promotion: Alpha Fairy! These Mwenzi are strategic in leading the little clan from here to there throughout the monster landscape. They are in charge in making pacts with classes to pass through unharmed, and provide protection for little familiars who are likely to get themselves hurt! Their role is to act as sort of a parental figure the other Mwenzi can rely on. Think wolves, they act as the leader of the family unit.

Neighbouring Prides

Mortals who visit their monster relatives are warned here and now: they will not be warmly welcomed. They may even be attacked or killed if they are not cautious enough, due to the monsters not taking kindly to trespassers.

The queen currently doesn't have a strong hold on the monsters and what they do/don't do. They could kill your mortal for any reason, even falsely accused. The only monsters your mortals can visit are the Ishara, Kaless and Tafuati. All other monsters are simply too violent or unpredictable to be visited. The Ishara and Tafuati are peaceful monsters who wish to observe mortal behavior rather than hurt them. Kaless are half-mortals trying to adapt to their new society. As such, they are the only safe classes to visit at this time. Other classes may be visited but your mortal will have to tread on eggshells in order to not be found out. OOCly your mortal can visit anyone, or accidently wander into another class' area however you are expected to RP them with the IC consequences of doing so.

As for neighbouring prides, the monsters may be willing to help them in some manner or form a alliance of some kind. This of course, comes with a price. Their loyalty can be bought with objects, surplus of food or even being presented the opportunity to bring down an enemy both prides share. If something beneficial to the monsters is up for grabs they will happily assist those prides in battle. Warrior-prides also have a tendency to earn respect from the monsters and will have an easier time obtaining them as allies.

Pride owners: if you wish to have your pride/pack be a monster enemy or ally please state so within this thread. Also, supply a reason for them to help/hate your pride.

Mortal Slaves

Mortal-slaves or what are more commonly referred to as Mtu-Tunza are kept sometimes. These are usually mortals who are captured when they cannot afford to pay back a monster who does a favor for them. They may also be captured on whim, to tidy up a monster's den because they are too busy/don't want to do it themselves. These slaves are protected personally by the monster who enslaved them, and if they remain a slave for extended periods of time, may eventually officially join the pride as a Kaless. Upon being promoted they are no longer obligated to serve under another monster, but the standard half-mortal rules apply.

Mortals who pay their debt off over a one month time frame may apply to be promoted to a Kaless. Please show prove (easiest method is showing the slave joining form) that it has indeed been one month since their joining.

*Special notice*
The form below is for blank slates/long-term members only. These are high-class monsters that are considered above regular monsters. Please read under the topic of Dragon in the classes post to understand what it is you are apply for here. After the pride is made you will only be able to obtain these ranks through events, and not regular RP. For now, while this is still an I/T thread, any blank slate rogues or long term members you want to enter can become a dragon easily.
