Common Name: Joka Ukubwa
Tianxia Name: Longwei
House: South
Brief Personality: A happy-go-lucky cub that turned into a serious and hardened adult. His rise through the ranks of the South House have taught him that not everything in life is fun and games, and if you let your guard down you will pay the price. He's learned and lot and seen a lot and has grown much wiser from it, and he takes a long time to warm up to new people. He finds it hard to trust others but, despite that, has a silver tongue and an alluring charisma that attract all kinds of creatures to him. Even though he can talk the pants off anyone he meets, his conversations are rarely for pleasure unless he's speaking with an old friend.
Career of Choice: Ambassador if allowed to wave that many requirements, if not, Councilor with the intention of rising to Ambassador. Even as a cub he wanted to be thought highly of, and his progression through the ranks of his House were what changed him so drastically. Dealing with creatures he didn't know taught him that trusting blindly is stupid and to stay on guard, even when around those he's met before. His natural gift of loquaciousness helped him start his progression up the ranks, and his experiences in dealing with other houses and rouges gave him the know-how and lessons in politics for the rest.

Tianxia Name: Huiliang

Brief Personality: He's a bit of a loafer, doing just enough to get by without seeming like he's a slacker. He enjoys jokes and pranks, but is just as ready to laugh at himself as at others. A bit obnoxious and loud, he's not one someone would want in a high ranking position, but he's find with his role of hunter. Someone's gotta do it, after all, and he doesn't mind getting dirty. Hunting allows him to escape the confines of the others in the South House, and he wouldn't mind a shift to the West House where his free spirit might be appreciated more. Still, he's a huge mama's boy and doesn't want to leave her side. A push from mum might get his butt in gear, though.

Boy 1 Entry
Common Name: Daksa, meaning "clever" in Kannada
Tianxia Name: Bainong, meaning "manipulate"
House: South
Brief Personality: Bain is very focused and self-motivated. He is ambitious and scheming, but also very careful and discrete. When he decides upon something, he does it or obtains it, and lets little get in his way. He is not cruel, nor is he evil. He merely is determined and unsentimental. He never allows emotions to get in the way of his aim, and scorns those who rely on such weaknesses. He is not at all an affectionate guy.
Career of Choice: Bainong would be a Magistrate.

While he very early on realized that only the nobility had any real power, it didn't take him long to perceive there were other means by which similar power could be obtained. As soon as he was old enough, he immediately took on the rank of Messenger. He had by no means any intention of remaining a prideal go-fer, though. He worked his way to Secretary and began applying himself to the job with all his might. However, he was not only memorizing and taking notes, but he was observing. He watched the subtle signs of the inner workings of the ranks above him. He mentally absorbed who influenced who, and endeavored to learn how.

His hard work paid off, leading to him taking the rank of Councilor for a time. This rank was much more useful to his ambitions, as it put him among the people he hoped to learn to influence. He gained inside knowledge of the law and how it worked... or how it could be manipulated. The possibilities were endless, and they excited his avarice for such power. It was this that led him to minute nudges here and there, resulting in him finally obtaining his long desired rank... Magistrate.

As a Magistrate, he does abide by the laws, and does enforce them. However, he uses his position to sway events and put pressure on individuals that he otherwise would have had no impact on. A member exiled rather than enslaved here.. a sentence lightened to a short servitude there... a minor infraction either ignored or severely punished according to what would best benefit a benefactor. Because of all this, Bainong lives very well indeed. He has all the luxuries he could want. Despite this, he does not grow lax. One with such power as his can as easily be manipulated as do the manipulating. He stays on his toes and continues to play the political games that intrigue him so.

Common Name: Fortis, meaning "steadfast" in Latin
Tianxia Name: Jingti, meaning "vigilant"
House: North
Brief Personality: Jingti is a friendly but quiet individual. He often keeps his thoughts to himself. Still, his smile is warm and genuine, and when he does speak, it can be counted on as absolute truth. He is an observant sort of guy, having an instinctive understanding of people. He has a great deal of physical endurance, and is a hard worker. He is very difficult to rile or upset, and takes no offense to just about anything. This does not mean he will be pleased with the one doing the insulting, however. He has a very strong sense of right and wrong, though he generally keeps that to himself as well.

Common Name: Ehioze, "Stands above envy"
Tianxia Name: Fucanglong, name of a Chinese underworld dragon (named this due to his coloring resembling the dragon).
House: South House
Brief Personality: While growing up, he became a mentor of types to his siblings. He loved giving them advise and helping them when they needed it. He is a strict lion, the no nonsense type, carries himself with grace and has a dry wit about him. He is fiercely loyal, but is often silently outraged by things around him that he wishes he could change, yet has a warmth about him that makes him approachable. He often refers to himself as a "Protector of the House" because he puts neither himself nor any one other person first, but the best interests of the house as a whole when making decisions.
Career of Choice: Councilor. Growing up in the South house, he often saw those around him dealing with diplomacy, he pretended to be a diplomat to his siblings. Similarly, growing up with two brothers made him quick, they were always running around somewhere (driving Nara crazy, of course)! He started as a messenger, like anyone else, with dreams of switching houses, since running around delivering "trivial" messages was quite the bore to him. This changed when he started to show some personality show when he received and delivered messages, and he only let his personality show out of some bitterness for his position. His dry humor was quickly caught on to and he was made into a secretary, they needed someone who was not just another drone running from place to place. As he sat in on meetings with a councilor, when they recapped after he would add his own feedback on what happened, again throwing in his personal touches. It quickly spread how well he remembered the meetings, of his great memory and also of his witty retellings of events. Not only did he give his own turn to it sometimes, he could often, and sometimes unknowingly to the other party, persuade them to react how he might, had he been in their shoes. The councilor he often worked under noted this, and after sometime suggested he move up in rank to a councilor, as well. Now, he has enough power to make some change and looks out for South house as they are, essentially, his family.

Common Name: Dawit, "Beloved"
Tianxia Name: Xinpéng, roughly "New mythical bird"
House: West House
Brief Personality: A modern day Vonnegut. He uses storytelling as an outlet for much of his emotion, and often appears stoic himself. His generally dystopian stories tell of places that are far off and are, for example, filled with disease or unnaturally violent lions. He has a somewhat cynical view of things -- believing even those offering to help always have an ulterior motive, no one is just nice to be nice. He believes that if he is going to be taking up someone else's time, he cannot waste it. If they are listening to his stories, he does his best to form a story they will remember and tell again. He also thinks that no matter how sweet or innocent someone or something is, somewhere down the line something horrible happened to them, or is going to, and never takes creatures he meets with this demeanor seriously. He will often straight up ask them what horrible events they have endured and then make a story of it later, creating others' amusement from their misfortune.
